Hey I was having the same issue with the Ultimate G2x rom and I solved this issue by re-flashing my rom and going under advanced wipe and fixing permissions. Hope this helps!

{First of all, i DID search high and low to find the answer to my problem before i made this thread.}
I have been using Cyanogen 4.1.11.1 ROM for sometime now without any problems. A couple of day ago i started getting force closes everytime i tried to go on the android market. I tried reflashing my phone using the CM Updater as i thought this might solve the problem, but that didn't work. I have cleared the market data via setting>application settings>manage applications>market>clear cache. That didnt solve the problem either.
Is anyone else using the same ROM as i am and experiencing the same problem?
Does anyone know how i can fix this problem.
Thanks.
This is an APP question post in the correct area!!!

wrong section or not, i have the exact same rom on my dream and the market runs fine. just move the cm-update zip folder out of the cm updater and put it in the root of your sdcard then try wiping and reformating it. might help, might not. it's not a rom issue though as the market works fine on mine.
Ok thanks for the info ill try that now
Problem Solved
I wiped/factory reset, rebooted and it works fine again now. i dont know what caused this though.
Thanks
I was running this ROM for a couple of weeks with no issues. All of a sudden if I reboot my phone and the second I unlock it I get a launcher FC???? Is anyone else getting this? I cleared davlik cache a few times with no luck. I even did a factory reset to reinstall and same issue. I really like this ROM too because of the them engine and all.
Have you tried fixing permissions in ROM manager or in recovery?
Also, what kernel are you using?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk
fixing permissions?? sorry but I have no idea what that is referring to. I was using the kernel that came with the ROM and I believe that it's Netarchy. I even flashed Math's 5.5 and 6.0 kernel but that didnt help.

To fix permissions, reboot into recovery, click on "Advanced" then "fix permissions"
If you can get into ROM Manager you can open the app and click on "Fix Permissions"
Dam, I just finished installing petes ROM 8/19 and setting everything up lol. I really like the oxygenROM so I'm willing to try that. I will have to go thru recovery since I cant even get to the homescreen when I boot.
Do you know if this actually helps? I mean from experience.
I figured out what was causing the FC's. I downloaded a few CM7 themes from the market (basic white, honeybread) and these were causing the issue. I just setup everything again and downloaded Pure Red theme and no FC after a number of test reboots.
Sweet!
Is anyone else experiencing market issues after updating firmware to 4.0.3? I can see my apps and search etc fine but when I try to download an app it says:
"... could not be downloaded because due to an error. (-101)"
I tried flashing the 4.0.1 firmware since market was working on it, but i still get the same issue.
I also tried clearing market cache and date, force closing it, and nothing works. I also tried reinstalling market and still same issue.
Anybody has an idea what the problem is and how to fix it?
Try clearing the cache and dalvik in recovery. also what i would do is go into cwm first reflash and then fix permissions then clear those things.

Market Problems - Solution
I was having the exact same issues. I was running MIUI.us 1.12.23. I went online and found 1.12.30. Once I upgraded my problem was gone.
However, the new firmware is still eating up my battery!

I was having the same problems after 4.0.3 RUU install (rooted).
I cleared the market data and cache and UNINSTALLED MARKET UPDATE rebooted my device and everything was fine!
I am currently using PB 1.6 and I just installed V6 Supercharger. However, after installation, I noticed two problems. One was that when I try to reboot the phone, the phone hangs and I had to pull the battery to close. The second is that Juicedefender Ultimate started ignoring "configured apps" that are sets to enable connectivity. I am not sure if it's because I upgraded to PB 1.6 from 1.5 or because I had installed Supercharger. I tried unsupercharger and that fixed the reboot hang but Juciedefender still cannot enforce configure apps. It seems to be unaware that I have the configured app running. I tried fixing permissions and problem remains. Can someone help me fix it?
I would have posted this on the PB rom thread but I was unable to since I am new.
Thanks!

Wipe JuiceDefenders data and then reconfigure it. Juice Defender always has problems when switching between ROMs for me. ALSO you shouldn't worry about the reboot hang, just don't use the reboot option. That V6 script makes your phone so smooth and buttery that rebooting problems shouldn't be something to turn your mind off of it.
Thanks for a quick reply, IRASadPanda! I have tried clearing data and reinstalling both free and ulitmate Juicedefender but problem presists. I will try the V6 again after I can get juicedefender working.
Update: I got it working again after using g2xscrubber to do full wipe and reinstall everything again.
This started occurring last night when I was using Winamp to sync music files to my phone. Every 10% or so the phone would reboot itself and I'd have to start the entire process over. Since then, I've been getting random reboots while doing anything from typing an e-mail to closing an app and haven't been able to narrow it down to anything specific.
So far I've tried
1) Removing my external sd card
2) Uninstalling numerous apps to try an pinpoint one causing an issue
3) Underclock from the 1.9 ghz the rom comes with
4) Removing the battery
5) Reflashing the latest nightly, clearing cashe and dalvik
Anyone have any idea on how I can try to resolve this? I love the phone and the ROM, but I can't deal with random reboots while just using my phone normally.
Thanks in advance.

I had this problem too with the latest release, even after reflashing it, and it even popped up randomly like your issue after using the ROM for a while. All of the sudden random reboots all the time. I went back to R64. I think there is a different kernel in some of the newer releases or some change, I don't really know, but R64 has been running perfect all around and hasn't rebooted once on me. You may be able to dirty flash back to 64, I don't know if it will work because I didn't try it, but I do know a clean flash fixed it for me. If it's just kernel issues then dirty flash should work as usual.
