Wait for your nandroid backup.
I think we will never have Green Lense compatible kernel... With 2ndInit we are able to load an hacked one? Maybe someone skilled can add GLense drivers.. or find a way to load the modules like in linux (modprobe etc..)

Nobody answered yet: is this stock sbf? leaked? Any major differences (other than the Gingerbread version) between this and the previously leaked ROMs?

#1 FIRST!
can we have some screenshots?
This night, but appearance isn't important in this rom, it's filesize (more space in data).
Themes
Hi there, great idea for the file structure, the Desire needs it!....Would the themes available for Cyanogenmod still be compatible, or would there be issues?
Regards and Thanks

No, you have 354 MB only for /dalvik-cache, so it isn't need move cache to sdcard.
Thanks all.

Thanx for the info, so which one is faster and which one drains the battery faster and which one do you recommend
Very nice and stable ROM !
Thanks for sharing it !
HAVS in theory has more power save, because voltage is dynamic, so I use HAVS.
I love the abilities to customize this rom, really well done stripping it down! Are you planning on doing the same on v7 of the CyanogenMod rom? Really hoping so, since i utterly fail trying
Thank you!
Maddude
did you modify rom to use data partition instead of cache partition?
there is no word of it in the rom info, and screenshot says its using some space on cache partition.
otherwise big application downloads will fail...
cheers

cache partition is used mainly by OTA and recovery, also others applications use that partition temporary. I haven't seen any problem about that, just you don't flash radio by recovery.

We owe a lot to "coolbho3000" for helping us and making us this module!
In this thread we will make a list of the available kernels, so ill be able to make OC modules for them.
Before you post you kernel, look at the list if its already there!
How do you check you're kernel?
1. You plug in your phone via usb.
2. Open a terminal/cmd window.
3. Write
Code:
adb shell
.
4. Write:
Code:
cat /proc/version
5. Post the first string that you get, for example, mine is:
Code:
Linux version 2.6.35.10-g9cef70d ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.4.0 (GCC) )
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do you activate the module?
1. Temp root the phone using fre3vo, and install everything you need to run root apps. If you lost temp root due to /system/bin/su becoming unlinked (root apps don't detect root anymore), do it again. Thanks #teamwin!
2. Decide which frequency and voltage you want. Frequencies have to be a multiple of 54MHz. For example, 1512MHz = 54MHz*24. Remember how much you have to multiply 54 by to get the frequency you want. For 1782MHz, as I reached, use 33 (54MHz*33 = 1782MHz).
3. Push the kernel module to your device:
Code:
adb push 8x60_oc.ko /data/local/tmp/8x60_oc.ko
4. Use SetCPU (you must be 2.2.4 or above for proper MSM 8x60 support!) to set the max frequency to 432MHz and min to 384MHz (I'm using costume frequencies with a setcpu.text to get dose speeds || I uploaded the setcpu.txt that I use, its at the bottom of this page, enjoy.).
6. Go back to the home screen, press the power button, and count to ten.
7. Load the kernel module with the following command, replacing the scpll_l_val with the value you got above and the vdd_uv with the voltage you want (in microvolts).
To use the module on 1.2 GHz with undervolte put:
Code:
adb shell insmod /data/local/tmp/8x60_oc.ko scpll_l_val=22 vdd_uv=1000000
It is something I tried and I cant promise how stable it is, it works for me, and I did it only to save battery.
To use the module on 1.5 GHz which is a stable OC for most devices, put:
Code:
adb shell insmod /data/local/tmp/8x60_oc.ko
To use the module on 1.5 GHz but undervolted (stable and amazing battery life for me)(Thanks Utking) use this:
Code:
adb shell insmod /data/local/tmp/8x60_oc.ko scpll_l_val=28 vdd_uv=1175000
To use the module on 1.62GHz undervloted (Stable for me)(Thanks Utking) use this:
Code:
adb shell insmod /data/local/tmp/8x60_oc_g9cef70d.ko scpll_l_val=30 vdd_uv=1275000
To use the module at 1.8GHz put:
Code:
adb shell insmod /data/local/tmp/8x60_oc.ko scpll_l_val=33 vdd_uv=1375000
8. If your device restarts after loading the module, try again the same process, or change valus for something easier for your device.
(For example, with I have 4 batteris, with 2 of them I can go really low with undervolt, with others, my device crashes)
If the device didn't restarted go to the next step.
9. last step, go back to Setcpu, press menu, then device selection, you should have autodetect now, enjoy!

Hi ufo,
nice work can you say what for bugs are in this rom? and coming updates and support from you?

I will try to fix some bugs as soon as I will have some free time.
Don't have any Screen picture?
Some kind of lagging is present...please try to fix that...am not sure you guys too have this lagging or not..
Glad to see somebody developing a new ROM for our devices
any update?
There is a new CM9 ROM based on ICS 4.0.4 which has a working camera recording, may be that could eleminate some bugs and add some more working features.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1623385
I'm not a dev, so I'm not sure how time consuming may be changing the base ROM.
I'm trying to port new MIUI build on top of 4.0.4 ROM, but some libs prevent from booting.
New version ALPHA 2 uploaded. You can find it in the first post.
Changelog:
fixed keyboard backlight
fixed display rotation after keyboard slide out
fixed superuser
fixed manual switch 2G/3G
Android 4.0.4
MIUI v4 2.4.27
Please post screenshots. Will make ppl more interested to try it out.
Hi Ufo,
why you have no german Language supportet in the new rom? CM9 have German Language.
Help
I've installed this ROM today... or I tried. The installation was very (VERY) fast, and after the reboot, my phone stopped at the red Motorola logo. Full wipe, I tried many times. Any suggestion?

Try to download it again. Maybe you have corrupted file. Installation took quite long for me.

I completed download about 20 minutes ago, the file size seems about right, and installation was comparably fast for me too...it did say Install from sdcard complete - at the end
Edit1: Redownloaded the file and tried again, got the same result. Could you reupload the file, please? There is a portion of installation, somewhere in the middle of the progress bar, that fills up suspiciously quick...I'm guessing that's what introduces the problems, since it's skipping that bit...or something is missing from the zip file.
It's possible maybe it's from the new Alpha 2 version, I installed the first one perfectly and beautifully. It is awesome. Great work. About to try V2. Will report results. Can you keep a link to the previous version if possible?

Try to verify checksum of the file. I have added it to the first post.
It is working properly for me. I have just tried clean install and the first boot took 5 minutes.
Have you done a full wipe(data and cache) and also Dalvik cache?
Which ROM did you have before?
Try to use TWRP recovery from this post: [RECOVERY] TWRP 2.1.1 for Motorola Milestone 2

I did all the wipe data/cache/Dalvik and even battery stats
I am on Will's MIUI 2.4.20
Will give it another go.
Thanks
Edit1: I gave up...after numerous trials and wait time of at least 15 minutes...i got the same result; Moto logo
I wasn't able to utilize TWRP, installation was successful but couldn't get to TWRP recovery screen...
If anyone else was able to successfully flash this ROM, please, describe how you did it...I'm very keen to try this ROM
1 - The Introduction
Hi One Mini (M4) users , Today I'm posting a very comprehensive guide on how to port basically any sense rom to this device. So if you have another device besides the One Mini ( M4 ) then this porting method may very. Keep in mind that in order to port a rom to your device you must have the same android version or a kernel that supports a later android versions.
For Example : We have official Sense 6 Android 4.4.2 , So you can only port other devices sense roms with 4.4.2. BUT since this forum has a great kernel developer ( @kairi_zeroblade ) we have recieved a 4.4.3 kernel which can also boot android 4.4.4. So if thats the case please continue..
Click to collapse
2 - Understanding
You must have common sense so if your going to port then you want to port from a device that is closely related to your device and in our case that's mostly the M7 is our closest device. So this guide will basically explain how to port any 4.4.2 sense based rom from the M7 to our device. But this will work for 4.4.3 too and possibly 4.4.4 longs you have the kernel.
Click to collapse
3 - Permission
To solve any future questions here is permission. When it comes to 4.4.2 use Official Stock. But if your porting 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 sense roms from the M7 or any other device then you are given my permission to only use "/system/bin/" or "/system/lib/" from insertcoin, if caught using any other file or folder from insertcoin i will report your rom to XDA administrators. Sorry but i dislike kangers.

GET READY.!!!
4 - What You Need To Port
- An Archive Program ( Any Archive Program That Can Compress Files To Zip )
- ApkTool ( Files from here and then the latest apktool.jar from here )
- A Decent Graphical Text Editing program ( Windows : Notepad++ or Linux : Kwrite )
- The Sense At Which You Porting
- Common Sense

5 - Starting The Port
6 - The Setup of The Port
1. Do as you See In The Picture Below
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. Extract the M7 rom into the port folder
3. Extract Offical rom for your device into the base folder
4. Now open "Base Rom" Folder & Port Folder Side by side as seen in picture below
Click to collapse
7 - Deleting Un-necessary Files
1. In the port rom delete these files only if your device doesnt have nfc.. if it does skip this step
Code:
- /system/app/Nfc.apk
- /system/app/NfceeService.apk
- /system/framework/com.android.nfc_extras.jar
- /system/lib/libnfc.so
- /system/lib/libnfc_jni.so
- /system/lib/libnfc_ndef.so
Click to collapse
8 - Deleting and Replacing Files
1. Copy "/system/etc/" and "/system/build.prop" from port rom to somewhere safe for a later time. Ex : Copy To your desktop
2. Now Delete these files & folders from port
Code:
- /system/etc/
- /system/usr/
- /system/lib/elg/
- /system/lib/hw/
- /system/lib/modules/
- /system/build.prop
3. Now copy Theses folders and files from Base rom to the port
Code:
- /system/etc/
- /system/usr/
- /system/lib/elg/
- /system/lib/hw/
- /system/lib/modules/
- /system/build.prop
Click to collapse
9 - Copying Bins and Libs
1. Now we need to grab a list of bin files from base and bring them to the port.
Code:
- /system/bin/aplay
- /system/bin/amix
- /system/bin/asound
- /system/bin/mm-audio-alsa-test
- /system/bin/qmuxd
- /system/bin/rild
- /system/bin/rmt_storage
2. Now we need to grab a bunch of libs from base and bring them to port.
Code:
- /system/lib/libalsa_intf.so
- /system/lib/libaudcal.so
- /system/lib/libaudioflinger.so
- /system/lib/libaudioutils.so
- /system/lib/libdiag.so
- /system/lib/libdsi_netctrl.so
- /system/lib/libdsprofile.so
- /system/lib/libdss.so
- /system/lib/libdsutils.so
- /system/lib/libhardware.so
- /system/lib/libhardware_legacy.so
- /system/lib/libhtc_acoustics.so
- /system/lib/libhtc_rilhook.so
- /system/lib/libidl.so
- /system/lib/libimu.so
- /system/lib/libOmxCore.so
- /system/lib/libOmxVdec.so
- /system/lib/libOmxVnec.so
- /system/lib/libqdi.so
- /system/lib/libqdMetaData.so
- /system/lib/libqdp.so
- /system/lib/libqdutils.so
- /system/lib/libqmi.so
- /system/lib/libqmi_cci.so
- /system/lib/libqmi_client_qmux.so
- /system/lib/libqmi_common_so.so
- /system/lib/libqmi_csi.so
- /system/lib/libqmi_csvt_srvc.so
- /system/lib/libqmi_encdec.so
- /system/lib/libqmiservices.so
- /system/lib/libril.so
- /system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so
- /system/lib/libril-qcril-hook-oem.so
- /system/lib/librilutils.so
Click to collapse
10 - Fixing Boot Animation Size
1. Now we want to fix boot animation size, why? Because we are using a port that is from a 1080p screen. So take these from base and place them in port from the same exact location you took them.
Code:
- /system/customize/resource/hTC_bootup_one.zip
- /system/customize/resource/hTC_downanimation.zip
Click to collapse
11 - Editing Build.prop
1. Now in port you should have your stock roms build.prop after doing the step above.. and edit these lines.
Code:
ro.aa.project=
ro.aa.romver=
ro.build.description=
ro.build.fingerprint=
ro.product.version=
The reason we want to edit these is because if your porting from m7 youll see the differences. For Example : M7_UL_K443_SENSE60_MR:397711 so id change it to this ---> M4_UL_K443_SENSE60_MR:397711 . Basically updating your base build.prop that you placed in port to the m7 build.prop that but with only editing the lines i listed above.
EX : M4's Build.prop after making changes
Code:

13 - Fixing META-INF Folder
The "META-INF" is the folder that controls the flashing of a rom while in recovery. So when porting a rom you must open this folder and navigate through it till you come across either aroma-config or updater-script. If your rom has both then update them arcordigly
Step 1 : Editing Aroma Config
If it has an aroma-config continue this step if not, skip this step and go to step 2.
Remove this lines from aroma-config[/B]
Code:
ini_set("dp","6"); [B]<----- Fixes aroma from being oversized[/B]
If the aroma-config has a list of devices in look at example 1 , and edit it to look like example 2.
Example 1 :
Code:
selectbox(
"Random Rom - Device Model Selection",
"<#c00><b>Note:</b></#>\nPlease select your device model\n ",
"@sim",
"model.prop",
"International", "Sprint and VZW too",1,
"AT&T", "",0,
"T-Mobile US", "",0
);
Example 2 :
Code:
selectbox(
"Random Rom - Device Model Selection",
"<#c00><b>Note:</b></#>\nPlease select your device model\n ",
"@sim",
"model.prop",
"International", "All Varients",1
);
Any Other Edits You will have to make cause all aromas are different
Step 2 : Updating updater-script

Yes if we had kernel.. but we couldn't even get a 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 gpe bugless. So most likely no.
I would love to port a rom but since we don't have kernel developpers for the One mini 2 then i can't do anything
