Limits of Bluetooth? - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'd like to use a bluetooth keyboard, mouse, and tether simultaneously. Has anyone tried this?

Try it out. I'm assuming it would work. I've done a BT keyboard pair, BT OBD II adapter at the same time.

I was hoping someone that has a mouse and keyboard can try it first. I don't want to spend a ton on a set when I can't use it. I rely on bluetooth tether a lot.

i know i've done the retro wireless controller, headphones, and a mouse at the same time. I use wifi tethering. the standard limit is 7 devices at once.

hm..should work, but I will try it tomorrow..left my kb at work

[REQ] Possible Bluetooth App

Wondering if there's a way to make my Evo behave as a Bluetooth headset so I can connect it to my PS3 when I go online. I always seem to lose my BT headset and would be great if I can use my Evo and broadcast it over its external speaker. I've tried searching in the Market and on the net for an apparently that would allow us to do that. I would imagine since our phone is BT ready, it would be easy to cook up an app to allow this function. Problem is I have zero app developing experience.

i think the playstation's Bluetooth works a bit different then normal? I think this because of the way you need to pair the controller on PC bluetooth dongles. It's not as simple as a regular bluetooth device.

Well, out of the box, if the Evo offered a BT service as a "headset" then it wouldnt be a problem. You can use any bluetooth headset on the PS3 as long as you have the sync pin, ya know.
So it sounds possible, but I'm not a developer either so I don't know for sure.

[Q] Suggest a ROM for bluetooth audio and Wiimote support??

What I'm looking for is a custom ROM that will let my Infuse 4g connect to a Wiimote so I can use it for emulators. I've tried CM7.2, and it allows the connection, but the bluetooth connections to headphones and speakers is completely awful. I use bluetooth all the time so this doesn't work. I've also tried Zeus and R3velation too, and the bluetooth works fine, but they can't connect a Wiimote. I read somewhere that it has something to do with the bluetooth stack, but I honestly don't know what that means.
Does anybody know of a custom ROM that has working bluetooth audio and the proper stack to allow Wiimote connection?
Of course it needs to be stable and have the basic functionalities.
Thanks for any help!
I am sorry to say that our phones biggest weakness seem to be the bluetooth as I wanated to do this also and it did not work. I even brought a small bluetooth keyboard to try to do the same thing and I could not get it to work.

[Q] Bluetooth + Wifi

Is anyone successfully using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and Wifi simultaneously?
If I have a keyboard and mouse paired and a WiFi connection, the keyboard starts repeating keys and the mouse gets laggy. If I disconnect the WiFi, the keyboard and mouse start behaving. If I only pair one Bluetooth device, and connect the WiFi, it works fine.
I've tried the Logitech and Belkin keyboards and MS and HP mice. Similar results for all combinations, but the Logitech + MS are the least bad.
Help!

My note is on stock firmware and not rooted. I have no problems using 4 BT devices (keyboard, mouse, speaker and Samsung HM 5000 thin stick headset) simultaneously while maintaining my WIFI connection. I do have the WIFI settings on mr router fixed to channel 6 rather than auto. The issue could be with your router. I'd suggest you do some Google searches on BT interference on the make and model of your router. If that router has known issues, you may also find some suggested work arounds. Good luck.

Keyboard, mouse and external display?

Is this tablet capable of having a mouse, keyboard and an external display (MHL?) connected to it at the same time and if it is, what's the setup and which adapters do I need to make that happen?
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried MHL cast for video streamming, and bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
or
ALLSHARE Casting for video (using this ) with wireless keyboard and mouse.

I've found that the first (MHL + BT Keyboard and mouse) works. I don't know about the second one, but I see no reason for it not to work.
I was wondering if it was possible for a USB mouse and keyboard + MHL to work at the same time (an all wired solution). Maybe there is a hub of some sort for this purpose?

[Q] Both bluetooth mouse and Keyboard

Having just brought a bluetooth keyboard to go with my Nexus 7 (2012 version) I was wondering if I would be able to also connect a bluetooth mouse up to the same device at the same time, yes thats right at the same time bluetooth mouse & keyboard together at the same time.
I have not got a bluetooth mouse as of yet so can not tell if it would work. I understand that they will both work seperately but not to sure if they would Both work as the same time.
Thank you for any help you may give me on this matter.
