has anyone started working on porting AOSP to the DS yet?
If anyone can show me the proper guides, i will give it a go myself in my limited spare time.
also i'm sorry about posting this in general rather than development, but i didn't feel like spamming the place up so i'd get my 10 posts...

An alpha release of the MIUI Rom which is AOSP is already available.
I can't help you about compiling AOSP...

You shouldnt consider be so low... Have u even read my post? I already posted that link... The page has broken links... I can only bet my luck if someone has a collection of these AOKP ROMs...

So i've been trying to enabling the navigationbar on MIUI, after briefly using the AOKP rom and finding this topic soon after. Think it would be great to use as the touch-button-issue is driving me nuts sometimes.
I've already decompiled the framework-res.apk, made the changes as described here, rebuild it, signed it and then flashed it.
My device boots up fine, just doesn't show the navigationbar. So I was wondering if someone could tell me what i'm doing wrong?
Here's the link for the framework-res.apk i've edited & the CWM update-zip, the version I've used is from MIUI 2.9.29 (from miuiandroid.com)
Probably others out there that would use this I think

I've given up on helping in the DS forums due to the insane decision by our Moderators to lock the Off-Topic thread which kept us all here. However ...
Have you searched the Dev forum? Can you find a ROM with either of those OSs? Does that answer your question?

Wow, how about not being unbelievably rude? It could possibly be that the devs are in the process of porting the OS, but haven't started a thread, etc.
I'm not trying to be rude, and I understand that not many people use the search function, but then it's best not to reply, instead of upsetting yourself.

So iv'e recently been working on a custom version of CM-11.0, and was wondering where the appropriate place to ask for testers is? I figured id ask here and get a honest answer, then get a million people telling me that i posted in the wrong area.

Android Development is for users/devs "re-works" of Stable ROMs; I would assume this is mostly for Nightly's and not too many fully stable ROMs. Original Android Development is for original ROM devs to post stable releases. I was confused with this at first as well, however after digging I've found both in both places. I would recommend you post it in Android Development as well.

i seriously doubt that there will be an update. The Devs have done us a great favour, and kudos to them, that they stretched sensation to android kitkat but since the devs have stopped developing, i dont think they'll be interested in making an android L port for sensation

You can't. A moderator needs to move this thread.
Regarding your question. First of all we need a base which could be ported, that'll be most likely cyanogenmod.
Depending when Android L will be released and how much time I have, I will try to port it to sensation, maybe I find someone who would help me.
