If you get the NS for ATT. Use the Nexus S dev section. They're slightly different, but many of the ROMs are cross-compatible. Just don't look at the NS4G dev forums (dont flash anything from there either)
thanks for the info!

AT&T nexus s question?

Ok quick question- What model of Nexus s works on AT&T?
I have the Nexus S 4g, and he wants a smartphone on AT&T. They would buy it off contract, and I would install ICS and all on it for him. I just don't know what version works on AT&T!
Thanks!

GSM nexus phones aren't sim locked so they work anywhere that they are network compatible. As long as the one you are looking at is a i9020t you are fully good to go with uk 3g speeds but if it a i9020a you will be stuck on 2g speeds.
If its a nexus s 4g dont bother that's sprint cdma/wimax ONLY.

[Q] Off contract nexus?

So I've been eyeing the nexus 5, and see that it will only be $350 without contract.
My question is if I buy the phone like this will I be able to just call Sprint and hook it up? Or will I have to buy the phone through them with a new 2yr?

Depends if the Nexus 5 supports CDMA bands. if it does, either you could go straight to Sprint and get it with a contract, or get it off the play store and then Sprint will activate it. if the Nexus 5 doesnt support CDMA bands then you cant activate it via Sprint or any other carrier that uses CDMA bands

Using verizon pixel in Canada (Fido)

Hi Guys,
It has been a while since I used an android and the usual problem with carrier phone is they lock some bands (dont know why they do this) and undeletable bloatware.
Saw some ads in eBay that are selling refurb pixel phones and the price is not that bad.
I just want to ask will there be some issues of using verizon pixel in Canada or is it possible to change the firmware of the phone to make it global so it can unlock the bands,
Thanks for those who will reply
Today or tomorrow you can find out!
New firmware will be floating around. Try to take the update to your device. See what update it tries to push.
Hopefully it does a good thing for you..
