Ok, little nervous here, first rom! I wanted to give a little something back to the community that I have enjoyed so much being a part of.
First and foremost thank you to xHausx for posting the first rooted GB rom yesterday, which this is based off of. Version 4.22.651.2 without him I could not be posting this now. Thanks to drmacinyasha, Virus, Caulkin, dc13. Konikub, myn, clark44, aamikam, and all the other devs who develop for us, they are the inspiration for me to start dabbling in "the kitchen"
"Sprint Updated" version 1.2 is out. Just a minor update.
It has:
Base ,stock, rooted 4.22.651.2, Odex & Deoxed versions, zip aligned, busybox, wireless tether 3.0pre14 (experimental, use with caution), /data/app functionality

I have tested this extensively on my EVO, and have had no problems at all,(besides the bugs mentioned in other posts) I have tested flashing this with Aman's RA Recovery,and clockwork 3.0 I am on hardware 004
as any rom please make a NANDROID of your current setup. If you have problems i can try to help. but if your in this forum and rooted you know what your doing

post has only been up a few minutes, i have flashed it 3-4 times the past two days for testing, i really wanted to make sure it works before i "released it" i know how important our phones our to us!

Anyone having issues trying to download from their phone (4G/3G)? When I click the link it just gets stuck on "sending file". Someone should mirror it on megaupload or another hosting site that's mobile friendly!!!

with my limited knowledge, i added the wireless tether 2.07 in the kitchen, with the kernel included with the 2.33 update and after flashing i did test it, but not extensively, so it is uninstallable if it does not work, i just wanted to add it.

Why am I getting FC’s on gmail/market/voice search/whatever?
FC’s can be a common issue when /system/app contains an app that you already have on /data/app. So if you get a FC on gmail, the market, or something similar, then it can generally be fixed 99.99% of the time by either wiping that particular apps data (Settings < Manage Applications < All < YOUR APP < Clear Data), or going in and uninstalling it which will actually force it to use the one /system/app.
Or, of course, can be fixed 100% of the time by doing a full data wipe before installing! I have verified this rom as 100% FC free (at boot at least) so if you have issues, it’s your particular setup.
Why do I get invalid signature when flashing?
This zip is signed the same as I’ve signed every other rom for the last 2.5 years but was getting invalid signature from TWRC 1.1.1. So make sure signature checking is disabled. You can compare the md5 below to make sure your download is good though.
Is this Ice Cream Sandwich? It says it’s version 4.x?
No. This is version 4.x of Fresh Rom. The Android version is always in my change log and unless it’s tagged as a dev rom, will always be the newest official OTA, or possibly a beta tag for a leaked OTA.

I always listen to the community as a whole and if enough people want something then I will generally add it to my rom. So feel free to ask. However if it's something that only a few people want then I request that you do it yourself and submit a mod/theme/patch for the others to use!

Install Notes: This update does not require a data wipe if you are on a stock-ish Sprint/Sense rom or on a previous version of fresh. If you are coming from another rom then a wipe may be required. Always perform a nandroid backup before flashing.

I was wondering why some of the nightlies don't show up on the list. It skips 54 and doesn't show 7.0.2.1?

just updated the app once again! themes are coming soon! im trying to make this an all in one cyanogenmod7 app for the dinc. maybe when i improve on my android devving skillz ill also add kernel options but for now i just added some important information buttons, changed some colors up, new icon, newest and latest stable and nightly builds are up as well.

I drink mt dew by the bucketloads also. Just flashed rom and setting it up. So far so good on my good old g1. Flashed fine and market updated after first download. Keep up the good work. This is lightweight compared to other froyo and gb roms.

Yes, this is froyo 2.2.2 the latest and greatest entirely based on aosp for more speed and very light.

It worked fine for me... if there was any newer version then it was one we didn't know about. in my tests everything works..

keyboard prediction.. didn't think about that... maybe try replacing latinime.apk with one from cm6? i installed a gingerbread keyboard because that's what I'm used to and it worked

no this is the latest froyo aosp, which is 2.2.2.

There is a bug in this rom compared to stock. When clicking on a web-link from gmail, facebook, etc. the browser crashes. If you type in the address manually it is ok. If you copy and paste the link it crashes.
Any ideas?

Could be a problem with the deodexed browser.apk. Does the browser work by just launching it? If not try pulling the browser.apk out of one of the EU roms and push it to your ROM.

I don't know, since I would really rather not download anything from a filesharing site that requires you to register your email address. But I suspect it works exactly like in the stock build (the author only stated that he removed the bloatware, it is not even clear if he deodexed the /system partition).
However, on a rooted phone this should not be a problem for you. You can always download the WiFi Tether for Root Users from the Market, and bypass the T-Mobile racket.
