Click back and then try again. For me it takes twice to recognize the Java SDK.

SDK Tools

okay its my fault for accidentally deleting it but I need the sdk tools. i redownloaded it but instead of a sdk folder there is just a sdk doc file. i read it and downloaded everything through the sdk manager and the tools are still not there. im lost and i looked through the guides and didnt see anything there. so what do I do now?
http://http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Then run the Setup exe
im on a mac...guess i should have said that first but i found it...its just not in the sdk directory anymore...and thats wut i was looking for specifically...the sdk tools now ~/Android/tools
duh...simple answer...just overlooked it trying to get ready for work...lol

[Q] SDK Install fails to recognise installed JDK ?

Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times, I tried search but it was un-available?
I installed the Lastest JDK and then Installed Eclipse. Eclipse runs, but when I try the SDK installer (v10) it doesn't find the JDK.
I'm new to all this ... just want to try and learn something about Android Development.
Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Mhackzz,
Make sur that you get the right SDK (x64 and not x86).
It looks like it's compatible, it's maybe related to Windows 8, in this case a reboot could fix it.
Maybe Eclipse is missing. The best solution is to install the official and complete android SDK :

Oops. It worked. Sorry guys
Just for the record ; the problem you faced is due to JDK not being an environment variable/on the build path of your OS.
After making sure JDK is downloaded (java development kit), add it to your environment variables/build path. The error shall be immediately gone.

Help: Can't Install Android SDK Tools

I will try to keep this short. I am unable to install the Android SDK Tools on this Windows 7 64bit machine. I have installed these tools countless times and never once had an issue. What gives???
When I extract the contents of the android sdk folder, there is NO exe file. Just windows batch files which I can not get to do ANYTHING via command line, run as admin, etc etc etc.
W T F????
Search and get "tools_r25.2.5-windows.zip" from the internet, this one works for me.
