Kickstand - T-Mobile LG G2x

Does anybody knows if there's a cool back case shield with kickstand?
It would be cool to have something like this:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061057
the actual kickstand is chrome though

Heavy duty case.

Has anyone tried one of these? It looks tough as heck and aesthetics are pretty nice as well. Gives the S a Toughbook look.

Looked good until I read the customer review. If anyone wants to try one id be interested in getting a review from here instead of a 'customer'

Looks like the same ones on pdair
I have a pdair from amazon.uk
i think its one of the best for 20€.
the only thing i dont like is that its very hard to touch the dropdown menu.
ps: cant post link
i would prefer a rubber case if any one knows what they are like or where to get them that would be great
i like the metal case but it think its too tough and looks like my SGS was built for war in iraq or something. i think that if it dropped with the metal case on it would still damage, but as for a nice thick rubber case, that should soak up the majority of impact when the phone hits the floor,,, or have i been watching the movie 'Flubber' too many times lol
Personal preference for a leather flip top case on most phones .

thanks for posting that... i like that alot plus its protecting the screen when im not using it... gunna invest in one of them bad boys before i drop my phone............ AGAIN
That makes the slim Galaxy S so fat!
I use mine with nothing on it. not even a screen protector. haven't got a scratch yet.. dropped it twice
I like it slim. Nice to touch and wont make me feel restrained when I walk with it in my pocket.
Back to topic, i think the pull down menu will be too hard to pull down if your fingers are big.. are you sure about it? Gonna be hell of an annoyance to use
If only that metal case doesn't have a clip at the back. I know the clip is removable, but I don't like the circle that sticks out.
If you want a tough case take a look at the Otterbox Commuter Series

I think otterbox does to phone look more better looking.

Or i'm wrong??
Need help, can someone help??

I can vouch for the case mate tough as all the buttons are easily accessible. The inner silicone sleeve actually protrudes nicely into the hard shells button slots. In other words, 3 button recovery hasn't been this easy using any other case.
I have only had 1 drop using this case (knocks on wood), and it does make a reassuring thud on impact.
Ill Show you whos FAT!

Looking for a great belt clip holster case...

Ive looked around these threads, and haven't really found what I'm looking for. I've recently required a job at Best Buy, soon to be Best Buy mobile and I'm looking for a belt clip to hold my G2, in a otterbox case as well. Any ideas? Links? Thanks a lot!

I use a PDair Leather Holster when at work.
For my use, it is great. Not cheap ($30) but it is a very well built product. The stitching on the leather and the fit of the phone is perfect. The clip that attaches to the belt is very strong and tight, doesn't move around on me at all.

If you are going to use the Otterbox case AND a holster, I would suggest looking for a generic leather pouch designed for a phone that is slightly larger than the G2/DZ.
Canadian Best-Buy's have a pouch for the Desire Z...I don't know if US Best-buy's have the equivalent though. I'm guessing though, that it will be pretty hard to find a case that will fit the otterbox case.
You think I would just look around online? What do you think would be a good phone to search for, like a larger case? I'm sure there is a case for the phone. Ill just have to look.

If you want a plastic clip hoster that can be used with a OEM or Otterbox hard case, this is what you need... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=857164

Yeah, that's the one I use. It works well since most pouches don't fit with the hard case and the ones that do have magnetic claps that interfer with the compass. And the holster looks pretty good too. Looks similar to the defender otterbox series while the phone is in the holster. I doubt that the magnets do any permanent damage but better safe than sorry...

[Q] Can Anybody Recommend A Nice Case?

Hey Everyone, I'm looking to get a nice case for my Epic. As odd as it sounds, I don't care if it doesn't protect my phone. I don't want a humongous Otterbox case that looks ugly and adds like 1/2" to the thickness. I just want a case that looks nice and doesn't add much thickness. I was also considering just to get a "skin" for it. What do you guys think? Also i would like to be able to get it in white. I found this case:
http://www.amazon.com/Snap--Rubber-..._1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1338165261&sr=1-1
but i dont like tat it has unnecessary stuff by the speaker. I want the front to look more like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Black-Rubber-..._1_4?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1338165335&sr=1-4
Any ideas or suggestions?
Those two cases are cheap for a reason. And a skin would only help for scratching the body.
I have both an Otterbox Commuter case and the Sprint case.
They are both nice. The Commuter covers more surface and is a better fit. Especially the front cover thingy.
But the Sprint cast has this awesome awesome silicon pattern on the back. It feels so good in the hand that the Commuter was almost a waste of money. It also adds a ton of surface grip. No sliding at all. I recommend it highly...if you can find it $19.99 on the sprint website.

Thanks for the recommendation man. I have to agree with you on the Sprint case being great. I had both the red and black one but they both broke (not easily though). My phone lives a very dangerous life. Lol. its just too bad they didnt make one in white.

Looking for case advice with GS4 - something rugged.

New to the forums - don't flame too badly!
I have used the typical cases on my phones before - like Otterbox and Case-mate - but I am looking for something like a Ballistic case for my brand new GS4. Do you guys have any experience with the Ballistic Shell Gel case or something similar?
I am not interested too much in the Otterbox products anymore and looking for something durable; but without too much bulk.
Thanks!
have you checked spigen neo hybrid?
do you mean this case?
[oops - I cannot post the link yet I guess per the rules]
I just searched it on Amazon and it looks to have some pretty good reviews. Do you know of anything more like a Ballistic case with rubber corners? I drop my phone a lot ( I know!! I need to be more careful!) and want to make sure it is protected.
Thanks for the input!
Urban armor gear is maybe something for you check the out on the web

you may try searching
Bumblebee SPIGEN SGP Neo Hybrid EX or SPIGEN SGP Slim Armor
im using Slim Armor, its durable and exactly fits the S4.
Urban Armor Gear, best case! Awesome feeling in the hands and I think my phone is safe.
I suggest you the Spigen neo hybrid cases it's great...
+1000 for UAG cases, they are the best in my opinion without making your phone bulky

One word - Urban Armour Gear!!!
wow - thanks for all of your input! i checked out some of these and the UAG looks pretty good for what I am looking for. I also came across the iOttie Notch Case - does anyone have any reviews on this? It looks similar to the UAG and Ballistic but really priced where I can pick up a few for the family.
Also, are these cases you guys are advising good for the ports with chargers and cables etc? That is another pet peeve of mine with tons of cases.
I work in pretty extreme, EXTREME conditions and the Otterbox Commuter serves me well.

All the ports on the UAG are perfectly cut out. I've had no issues with mine. I originally had one for for my gs3 and when I got this phone, the UAG was the first accessory I went looking for.
I would very highly recommend the UAG!

[Q] I really want a good leather case.

Does anyone know of a good leather case? I already tried the Tridea TPU case, and it's not exactly the best quality case around. I'm looking for something a bit like this one. http://www.amazon.com/Caseology-Bur...sim_cps_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=1P9TB786ZF7SGA1H1QFD
But for the Note Edge. I also hate flip cases. So those are all unacceptable to me. I know, I know, I'm super picky, but I've scoured the internet for a case like the one in the link, so I figured I'd ask here in case I missed something.
I've been looking for one too... so far nothing but lousy cases. Iphone has a much better selection of sophisticated leather cases.

Try the Zenus. It's flip though.
i was looking for the exact same case you posted made by "casology", since i had that case for my Note 4! i switched to note edge and i couldnt find one like it! the closest case to it was made by "Verus".
but yeah that case you mentioned was probably the best looking case I've ever had on my phone! hopefully they come up with something similar for note edge!

Best case
i had the zenus leather case. It is very nice. Only reason I changed to the UAG is im using a flygrip and I cannot use a flygrip with a flip wallet case.

If it falls in the direction of the edge... the glass is destroyed. ... defeats the point of having a case.
