I'm have a US WIFI only Xoom.
Just today I gained root access... after that it worked fine
But trying to get market to download us only apps outside the US (I'm in Chile), I pushed a build.prop to the system folder
And now, my Xoom is Stuck on the honeycomb animation at startup.
Already tried flashing this update, still not working.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated

Hopefully everyone hasn't wrapped up keeping tabs on the forums until after the holidays and can throw me a bone here. Tried doing all the usual searches and stuff so if you know what or where my answer might be and can just kindly point me there that would be appreciated.
Anyway.
I have a US Xoom that I sent in for the upgrade to the LTE modem. Don't have active service at the moment though. Had rooted and played a little in the past and locked it back up and ran the stock updates for a bit. Decided to give root and some custom roms a shot and now have a semi bricked device. Followed the instructions to install the HMJ37 zip file from cwm recovery and all seemed to be going well until the reboot. Stuck at the Moto dual core logo and wouldn't do anything else.
I can and have pushed the stock boot, recovery, system, and userdata img's according to Moto's instructions on their site. Locked the bootloader, reboot, nothing. Adb and Xoom both showed the files being pushed and installed properly. Tried unlocking, clearing user cache, going into recovery mode, etc. Everything sticks at the Moto dual core logo.
Ideas or suggestions highly welcome.

I hope I am not wasting anyones time by posting something that may be and I hope is a simple fix, but I have a problem with my Verizon Xoom, a 602 (without the 4g upgrade- don't even have verizon service) that I can't figure out- and it's not for lack of searching. I have been rooting my devices and running custom Roms since my HTC Touch, (a big thank you to all of you here at xda for all the knowledge and instruction I have been able to leach) but I am very much still a noob with only the vaguest since of how Linux, android or the devices themselves actually work- and that is especially true of my xoom with all its post release changes in storage and whatnot since I bought mine, so please don't flame me to hard if this is just my ignorance- I promise you I'm not just being lazy, I just can't figure this one out. I have been running EOS for a while now without a hitch, and recently installed 150 when it became available. everything was fine until a couple of days ago when it started freezing on unlock which just took turning the screen off and back on to fix, but every app started crashing, some periodically and some such as android.process.acore, browser, and google play that won't open at all. I use Team Win's recovery and tried a wipe and reinstall, but same thing. When I try to fix permissions I get a failure with the message "E: Unable to chown '/data/app/com.google.android.youtube-2.apk' 1000 1000". Also when I try to wipe internal storage I noticed everything was still there even though my recovery was saying I had a successful wipe. I switched to clockworkmod recovery and tried to use eraseData file in the folder to wipe the old way but that didn't seem to work either (which I'm not even sure I did right but figured I better get some advice first anyway), and when I tried to flash EOS 3 stable it won't get past the EOS boot animation at all. If anybody out there knows whats up and has the time to point me in the right direction it would greatly appreciated... Thanks
Wowzers! When all else fails ... unroot / re-root. That will wipe everything.

I have rooted my Xoom 2 ME and installed Safestrap 3.12 as explained here.
Apparently something went wrong after I tried to restore a backup to the Stock ROM Slot. I now have the Blue (instead of Red) Motorola Logo when I boot, followed by error messages telling me the "UI System" and "Configure" Applications have stopped.
Trying to solve the problem, I did a factory reset from the Stock Recovery Boot and now I see that I have lost all my Safestrap Backups and Slots.
So I have no backups to restore and no other Slots than the Stock ROM, which I cannot boot.
What are my options ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A quick update on this
I'm having help form runandhide05 who is amazingly kind with me, answering all my questions in PM.
I have a Wi-Fi only 8.2 Xoom 2 bought in France so I have flashed this ROM : 0.268.4.MZ607.Retail.en.FR.
I could boot but when I tried to update OTA it failed. It downloads, start updating and fails so I am stuck in 3.2.2.
Also whenever I reach the page of an application in the Android Market, the Android Market quits.
Finally adb doesn't see my device.
I've tried flashing another ROM with the same result : 0.281.8.MZ607.NonEFIGSRetail.en.EU
All this is very new to me, I feel like I have learned a lot in 24 ours but I really have no idea were to go to solve this and feel like I am asking a lot to runandhide05 at the moment so if anyone as "qualified" as him had any idea to help it would be amazing.

Problem solved !
The update succeeded when done via the "Motorola Device Manager" on PC.
After that I could use Google Play without it to quit and adb saw my device again.
I re-rooted and re-installed Safestrap with no troubles.
My first attempt at rooting and upgrading firmware to 4.2.2 worked but it also sucked and feels like it is running slower, so I decided to go back to Stock Build running android 4.1.
Since downloading the Firmware, I cannot install apps without getting an error, "Your Device isn't compatible with this version".

Could someone provide me with a detailed example of what exactly needs to be changed inside of the build.prop file so that it looks like it came from Canada and not GB as currently shown in said file.

Hi guys I have yet another crazy issue I am faced with
My Samsung galaxy tab p3110 model has just got the black screen of death after having replaced build.Prop file however I did create a backup of the build. Prop file only its inside the root folder of the tablet at stake. I only seem to have access to Odin mode and I need a way of moving the original built.Prop file back in its place. Does anyone here have any ideas of how I may go about doing this without risking screwing up my tablet further.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Recently went to new 5.0 lollipop, rooted and really need to get tethering working. I have sqllite on phone, and root browser. Just can't get it to work, keeps boot looping.. Any one know if there is a flashable zip? The old one doesn't work any more: ( any help or guidance would be awesome I'm lost.

Question did you fix the permissions to match the original file? If not, then that is your boot loop issue. Well that was it for me. hope that helps you.
