[DEV-ROM] STOCK KD1 *Rooted/Deodexed/Zipaligned* - T-Mobile Sidekick 4G

Hopefully this can help someone who is starting their own ROM.
I have taken the KD1 files for the Sidekick 4G, deodexed them, and zipaligned them, as well as adding root.
All bloatware .apk's are still in the ROM, remove them as you see fit.
*I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WILL FLASH CORRECTLY WHEN/IF CWM RECOVERY IS RELEASED, TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK*

im getting this phone this week and i see u deodexed the rom already and with root but if we dont have revcovey how do i backup and flash this and do u know if anyone working on recovery ? is it worth it

This is in preparation for a working CWM, so that we can get started right away.
Thanks, this looks promising, we'll see if it works when CWM is released.
There are 2 different Devs working on CWM for us, Jollette and Krylon360. Both are very talented, well known devs.

The point of this is just to provide deodexed files to users wanting to create their own ROMs and play around with their devices. If you want to attempt to flash without CWM, you could just re-compile the files to a .rfs, then .tar it and attempt to flash via Odin using the .pit file found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=605708&d=1306221776

Thanks troby. Things are slowly starting to pick up for the overlooked sk4g

I tried it but it wouldn't flash. It's using amend scripting which are out-dated in CWM 3 and needs to be using edify scripting.

i should have 2 ROMs out by tonight.
Deodexed Stock.
and a Custom ROM debloated rooted and deodexed, its really fast and light. Just finishing up on the theme i think most of you guys will like it.

.. Just a heads up
Also for this ROM, its not deodexed correctly, a few days ago when i first had CWM working i replaced the script with an edify one and it flashed, but after boot animations i got a black screen and the 3 vibration (force closes). at that point, i had to Odin to stock cause i couldnt reflash CWM since this ROM doesnt have the modded recovery to allow the update.zip to flash . Just a heads up.

Gb Stock Rom Recooked

Im working on recooking the stock gb rom with root support. Thank you white for the deodexed version without the sbl and boot support.
The reason for this recook as sammyfirmware gave us the leaked gm rom with a messed up sbl file which is why we lost recovery support as the boot loader seems to be from the international verson and the sbl file seems to be from one of the i9000 that had a borked sbl that didnt allow for the the recovery boot.
those of you that went from KD or anything pre gb that went to whitehawks rom you are ok as you didn't loose support and still have your non borked sbl file.
this is for those of us that did the stock gb rom and added root access after.
so if you used dsextons method off that rom which at the time we had no idea had a borked sbl please use odin and flash this rom as it will re add back a fixed sbl file ..
Also note if u dont reflash there is a possibility when the gb rom actually drops u wont get back recovery without doing this becuase it may not fix the borked sbl file.
if u have issues getting the rom to work let me know if u brick your phone i take no responsability for any damages gb may cause ...
Update
Updated install instructions
download and flash coocked gb rom in odin
once flashed data wipe cache wipe reboot phone go back into download mode
reflash kd1 or kb one onto your phone so the boot loaders stick
factory reset and cache wipe to pervent bootloops
reflash cooked gb rom back to system
cache and fs system wipe again
this will cause the gb cracked bootloaders to stick and give u a fully booting gb rom
Ginger snacks cooked adding to rom Made a nice ginger theme to go with this Dev build of the rom.
Things in progress deodexed
adding busy box and root support out of the box
bug fixes to prevent fc's
notification bar Bluetooth
notification WI-Fi fixes
Going to fix the premisson issues with the damn call log permanently...
ps i attached a working wi fi calling that isnt in the rom that will work on gb for those of you that would like wi fi calling feature back
update i removed the link do to to many people having issues im going to upload a full dump that u can odin using pit repartiton and flash back which wipes all of gingerbread off the device after that flash the flavor of your choice... Some got it to work via flashing then flashing back to kb 1 then kd 1 and back to cause it to stiick. WHy its not working for the rest of everyone i need to do more testing with..
but for now
http://sourceforge.net/projects/kc1cleanup/files/hawk.zip/download
updated link
that will get you out of it and restore your boot and sbl files back to kc one

Downloading now. Do I need any of the CWM files on my sd card?
this right now should fix the problem that people had that flashed the initial... Where u could GET INTO download mode BUT COULD NOT get to recovery..
We still need Krylon to get a working recovery for us... This will just get you back recovery mode support.
all i did was fix the sbl and boot files..
The boot to download and recovery keys after u flash should revert back to pre GB which is
Vol up Vol down stick in usb for download mode
and then vol up and down and power for recovery..
When and if i can get a root Busy box + clockwork flashable ill upload that in its place and update the origonal post to reflect it Me and dsexton702 spent 2 days trying to get this back to where it should work proper and we bricked his phone in the process to bad he didnt live closer i could have unbricked it for him..

if your at the galaxy s 4 logo give it a bit it does take a bit for the inital boot its not that fast
Got it into download mode with the two vol button pressed and then the cable plugged in. Will try again.
how long did u wait at the galaxy screen cause it does take a min if it doesn't work after that let me know i may have included the wrong boot file but that's differently the right sbl file

Mine boots into recovery fine using quick boot, am I missing something? I was stock gb then rooted
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
ya ur missing the point without quickboot u couldnt boot directly into recovery from the volume up down and power button to get into cwm at all as the sbl file that was included in the package was messed up.
also remaped the keys pre ginger flash so u could get into download mode the old way with the 2 button insert usb..
well im going to work more on gettin root support out the box custom shut down and startup animations and deodexing the rom and then adding back stuff so the rom doesnt fc at the notifcaton screen when u turn on bluetooth also will look into fixing the call log also.

Me too, quick boot is fine. I believe this ROM was unfinished, hence the lack of recovery. At this point in our game, recovery is insignificant. Even CWM isn't working right. I'm still trying to understand the issue with recovery.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
re read origional post if you dont understand it please re read cause i dont know how else to tell you that you have a flashed file on your phone that broke some of the key press sequences on your phone in short if you did the inital gb rom and didnt wait for whitehawks you now have a broken sbl file on your phone... Thats the point.
ADVANTAGES OVER QUICKBOOT
Someday, we will be flashing a CM7 on our phone. If we use quickboot and we are in recovery, we flash, flash fails, we have to ODIN all the way.
With a fixed sbl, just restore.

more plane and simple even if you flashed a finalized ginger rom there was no 100 percent chance they would have included fixed files along with it so you may have well never been able to reboot back into recovery without quickboot which like another poster put eventually we will get cm7 and you would have still had the borked files.

Searching for Stock deodexed themed rom(no brown)

No ASOP, I prefer touchwiz and I am having trouble finding just a stock rom with touchwiz but without the brown color. I just came back to samsung from a rezound, cant deal without the super amoled screen lol and didnt want a nexus, dont need crazy gaming capability just a functional smooth phone with 16 million colors and the best viewing angles Any help would be awesome thanks guys
You said you have a rezound so I have to ask are you in the right place? You do not want to flash charge files to a rezound. If you do have a charge, there are a few themes over in the theme section that can help you

He said he used to have a Rezound but came back to Samsung.
Grab the stock deodexed from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1366041
Then go to the themes sub-forum and pick your theme. There are a few available. That rom isn't debloated, but that's not hard to do yourself if you want.

If you want a stock feel with some very nice tweaks you should flash TweakStock v1.1 found in the development subforum. It includes a black and blue theme but there are more options for you to choose from in the themes subforum.
thanks
Thanks for all the replies. I think I will try stock deodexed and debloat myself. Also a little off topic but I would flash via Odin and then do I flash cwm the same way? Then flash busy box and Su ? Is there a stable version of cwm that you guys are using? Just making sure all is the same on the charge as previous phones.

1. Download Imnuts PBJ kernel from rootzwiki and the flashable SU and place them on your sdcard.
2. Flash the bloated deodexed zipaligned .tar.md5 file in odin from here
3. Flash the latest CWM in Odin from here
4. Boot directly in CWM. (Hold power, volume up, and home. Then release the power button when you see Samsung pop up).
5. Flash the kernel and SU and reboot.

if you wanna flash the Odin file then yes do it with that then CWM after in Odin as well if you need it, or you could always just use Odin to flash CWM then flash the zip package in CWM (be sure you're already on stock EP4D GB first if you do the CWM package)... also the rom itself will root your phone, if not then any custom kernel will so there's no need to flash superuser or busybox
also I use the orange colored CWM version 4.0.1.4 (from 8/30/11), its the most functional for me, never fails a flash and nandroid backups/restores work
The default theme isn't brown. Try that? Lol

[ODIN][UCLB3] AT&T 2.3.6 Gingerbread with root and CWM recovery option - Infuse 4g
ABOUT
--------------
These Odin flashable tar.md5 packages contain the stock AT&T 2.3.6 Gingerbread release for the Samsung Infuse 4G with root added.
For those who are interested, there are also rooted options below that have busybox and are deodexed and zipaligned. An option is also provided below that includes CWM recovery and a few extras.
These rooted Odin packages do not contain bootloaders. Have rainbow distortion and want GB bootloaders to fix that? See question 1.) in the FAQ below for an explanation, warning, and link to a separate package that contains and flashes Gingerbread bootloaders.
The first two versions below use the stock UCLB3 kernel and have stock recovery. The third option below uses Entropy's Daily Driver (April 5th, 2012 test kernel with working MHL HDMI out), and includes red CWM recovery. For more information about Entropy512's kernel, go HERE.
INSTALL
--------------
1.) Download Odin from HERE and extract the program from the .zip file.
2.) Download the version you want. Use a program like 7zip to extract the Odin flashable tar.md5 from the .rar file.:

Want to try some different kernels, like Zen Arcade's Infusion-Z? Odin kernel packages are HERE.
3.) Install Samsung Kies to install the latest Samsung USB drivers. This can be found HERE.
Reboot PC. Then, attach phone via USB, and allow drivers to install.
4.) In recovery, wipe all user data and wipe all cache data, BEFORE flashing. If you don't do this, I can't guarantee that your phone won't loop at the AT&T boot animation, or that you won't have other issues.
Put phone in Recovery Mode (Turn phone off, disconnect USB cable, hold power button and both volume buttons, release power button when Samsung logo appears, continue to hold volume buttons until recovery screen appears.). In recovery, choose and follow prompts for options to wipe user data and to wipe cache data.
5.) Place phone in Download Mode (Remove battery, hold down both volume buttons, replace battery, attach USB cable, and then continue to hold volume buttons until the phone enters Download Mode.).
6.) With phone in Download Mode, open the Odin exe. In Odin, if the phone is recognized, the window under ID:COM will turn yellow.
7.) In Odin, click on "PDA" and browse to the tar.md5.
8.) Select the tar.md5. Make sure it shows up in the PDA window, and then click on Start. Do not power off or disconnect the phone while Odin flashes the package and reboots the phone.
9.) You're finished. You now have stock AT&T 2.3.6 Gingerbread (UCLB3) with root.
NOTES
----------------
a.) If you skipped step 4.) and your phone boot loops at the AT&T boot animation, hold down the power button and both volume buttons until you enter recovery. In recovery, wipe all user data and wipe all cache data. Reboot and the phone will boot into rooted 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
b.) If everything has been done correctly, the Setup Wizard will appear when you first boot Gingerbread. If the phone first boots into Gingerbread, and you don't get the Setup Wizard, go to Settings / Privacy / Factory data reset and choose "Reset Phone".
FAQ
-----------------
1.) I have rainbow distortion in recovery or in the boot animation. How can I get Gingerbread bootloaders to fix this?:
You can download THIS .rar file, extract using 7zip, and flash the tar.md5 package in Odin (use the pda slot). Flashing Gingerbread bootloaders will correct rainbow distortion in recovery and in the boot animation. Only flash these if you are having issues with rainbow distortion, and only if you have had success flashing other, less dangerous items in Odin. If something happens to cause a flash of these bootloaders to fail, then you run the risk of bricking your phone. See THIS post and THIS post for more of an explanation of why bootloaders weren't included in the rooted UCLB3 Odin packages.
2.) Isn't there a way to root stock UCLB3 Gingerbread without flashing these Odin packages?:
Yes. See THIS how-to thread that I put together for an explanation of how to root stock UCLB3.
3.) How do I get CWM recovery if I flashed a version with the stock kernel?:
If you didn't flash Option C with CWM recovery already included, you can flash a custom kernel that includes CWM recovery by using SGS Kernel Flasher on the phone. Find and install SGS Kernel Flasher in Android Market / Google Play Store. Then, place the zImage of a compatible custom kernel that includes CWM recovery on your internal sdcard, and flash using SGS Kernel Flasher. Entropy's Daily Driver, includes red CWM recovery, and can be found HERE.
4.) My phone is displaying something that looks like this: Phone-!-PC. What is this, and can I use these Odin packages from here?
That is still download mode. If you reach that screen, a flash has been interrupted or has failed, and you are in a type of backup download mode. Reset Odin, and start over with your flash. These packages will flash in this mode, just as they will in regular download mode.

Yes there is. The deodexed version has a lot less lag. I ran the leak for about a month when it was released and then i flashed the deodexed version and you can tell a big difference.

Cant tell about this for sure. I've used only UCLB3 stock and [UCBL3] [Dev]astation [2.3.6]. First is good and have many usefull functions and they are working fine (fast GPS, Car Holder, correct bluetoth and many other). Second one is a lot faster but not all functions are working, GPS is realy slow also stability is not so great for me. Right now current your ROM is good for me becouse it has thing that I needed being on UCLB3 - ROOT. If deodexed version will add speed and will not make this ROM less stable, than people will love it. Me for sure =)

This will just optimize system apps and framework stuff that depends on .odex files, and will make it easier to mod system and framework files. Nothing major; everything will still work like stock. I'll keep the stock version available also.

I was curious, mostly.
2 wks ago, I had put together a method to root the UCLB3 when we saw a spike in how to root this thing in the Q/A everyday. It consisted of a cwm-flashable that installed busybox and superuser, then deleted most ATT bloats. And then installed google talk video from the G-Nex.
To get to cwm, I had a Heimdall-1-click of Entropy's DD kernel. I suppose any GB insecure kernel would work too. Entropy's latest would be nice because it would also have HDMI and CWM recovery.
After the kernel flash, you can boot into recovery and flash the cwm package.
And then UCLB3 would be "rooted", busybox and SuperUser.apk. Plus some bonuses (Gtalk, Gvoice, Terminal Emulator and minus ATT bloats. It was painful but I left Facebook and a few others in place)
Once you started with the Tar for Odin, I made a Heimdall-1-click for this rooted ROM as well. What was odd was that I had corrected the vold.fstab for the external sdcard access, before copying over the factory.rfs.
After the package was put together, the vold.fstab reverted back to mm2 instead of mm1 for the stock kernel.
Odd...
I didn't know if that happened to you or not.
Anyway, imo, I don't think you need to worry about another version with Entropy'd DD, I think most users should be able to use SGS-Kernel flasher to get to cwm.
About the deodex aspect, dman already made up a deodex version...I thought it was odd that others didn't use it. It may also be redundant too, but that's just my opinion.
I think the Odex apk do not make dalvik caches. Thereby, have a fast boot time and less chance of cache corruption. I've been using the odex rooted version with the stock kernel, and have noted an initial lag, but after leaving the phone alone for 20 minutes, it is pretty responsive and snappy.
This stock rom is missing Lidroid's, Battery mod, and a few other things..but then, after you add those, lol..we are running vagabond, spartan, pharmnerd midagu's etc...
If anyone wants a heimdall 1 click...

I run a deodexed version and think having a odin version of it is just a extra way of having a lb3 deodexed available for me to use if need be. I dont use heimdall so odin is my preference.

Yes. I know that some odd people prefer Odin and others prefer heimdall. Jk..
Some use both. Either way, nbd.
I was thinking that there was already a deodex uclb3.

Odin ftw .
Yeah, I get that great options have already been presented to do all of this. Didn't mean to step on any toes.
Some posters were asking for an Odin option, so I made one. I personally prefer Heimdall myself, but maybe Odin is easier for some.
This is mainly just another tool to get rooted stock UCLB3. Hopefully it helps some.
When I get home, I'll still do a deodexed version, but agree that it's easy enough to use SGS Kernel Flasher to get CWM recovery.

qkster, that didn't happen to me when I made this package. But, that is probably because of the process I used to get the factoryfs.rfs. I got everything exactly how I wanted on the phone, including setting up vold.fstab after switching kernels back and forth during the root process, and then I did a system dump using dd on the phone after doing a factory reset.

[Q] TWRP Q&A

Dont want to muck up the CM7 thread and no thread was started.
FB Im wondering if twrp is fully wiping when you run the wipe option. I used the kj6 heimdall one-click to get back from a bad flash. However once I finally was able to get everything set back up I had restored some apps through Titanium Backup, but only app no data. Amazon app store was one and I had to delete the backup and uninstall the app, reboot clear cache and then re-install it to get it to work. The theme chooser app was fcing on me until I did the same thing.
After I did this I applied a theme apk that borked me. I was stuck on the team acid logo. No boot loop just stuck. I then one clicked to kj6 again, then used antonx kernel one click. Made a new backup of my efs, wiped everything including boot img. Flashed the twrpcm7 zip and followed the directions to finish.
I know anything is possible but is it likely that twrp is seeing something not wiped in the bml to mtd conversion and its causing conflicts?
If your not comfortable with the possibility of bricking your phone do not follow my steps and format everything. Formatting boot has the possibility to brick your device.
Hmm, well /data isn't getting wiped in R11. Bryan submitted a patch for updater.sh that should take care of this though I haven't tested it. I haven't tested a BML->MTD (cm7-twrp) flash though, but I'll have to look into it in the next few days. I'm running a rom build right now, so I'll probably test that out tonight.
I didn't wipe anything, I just flashed the twrp boot.img. I am running Team Kick Asses MIUI Revenge (MTD). After I flashed and the phone booted, wifi would not turn on, and it said error underneath the button. Pulled a logcat but all it said was wifi failed to initialize. Is that error due to the fact I didn't wipe anything or factory reset/fix perms?
Either way, it is super sweet recovery!
Max says its a driver issue. Ill find the post and link it.

The reason wifi didn't work is because the wifi module needed to be from the same kernel build. I'm not sure how FB built the two builds, so I don't know if he included a module from a different kernel build or not.
Try the R11B with TWRP and then install R11(not B) with inject TWRP enabled.

Now that you have twrp make a cwm zip for the r11 kernel, flash it via twrp and leave the "inject twrp" option enabled. You should get working wifi and twrp
Sent from my SGH-T959V
Like I said on cm thread the wifi module is different from the one Max used on his new boot.img which is why twrp and the new boot.img doesn't work with the current miui build ...the first release of dianxin os had the new boot.img fb sent me and that was the wifi issue.

I flashed miui on with twrp doing a wipe firs and it installed miui fine, with wifi and everything seems to be fully functional. Just to be safe I wanted to test out twrp on miui, however the only way I could get to it was volume up+down+ power. But that loads it right up, and I flashed a few different modems to see which gave me the best signal, and it worked each time. Btw, nice work fb twrp is great.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
Which modems did you flash? If the modem flash DID work you should be able to go into Settings > About Phone and check under baseband version. I'm not sure if that's the exact menu on MIUI but there should be something very similar.
I just flashed kg4 and that's what it says under baseband version, I flashed kd1 earlier and that's what it said before I just flashed kg4. Just to make sure it was working. I think it says t959vuvkg4 or something to that effect, it definately just changed though from kd1

Hey guys just a progress report on this. I've been messing with a twrp injection cwm zip all evening. After some discussion with bhundven, the way we're going to go about this is to NOT include twrp by default in cm7. It's been really hard to get a working copy compiled and included with cm7 and if we can't do this automatically there's no point to doing it at all.
The CWM zip will (hopefully) allow us to give you the option of using TWRP even if you're using CWM at the moment. The benefits are the following:
You won't need to mess around with kernel features that don't work (wifi was broken, ffc was broken)
You only really need to inject twrp once via CWM since twrp comes with an inject option before you flash a CM7 update.
It'll make it easier on us since we'll have less releases and thus have to provide less support.
At the moment I'm trying to have something for you guys tonight, but the chances are slim for that happening.

For some reason TWRP can't Flash Zip file like Mtd modem kd1. I try to make a nandroid bk and didn't work. Also I try to save error logs on sd card didn't work.
My english is not the best, sorry

Please post the logs here.
What errors did you get when trying to flash the kd1 modem or make the nandroid backup? I've tried making and restoring a nandroid backup using CM7 R11 with twrp injected by the zip and it's worked fine for me.
What rom/kernel combination are you using?
Error: Unable to open zip file
I try nandroid backup again and for some reason did work but wasn't working.
Am using CM7 R11B & CWM TWRP
Everyting else is working good thanks!!!!

This is the Stock Official ROGERS/Samsung Released Firmware for the SGH-I727R (Skyrocket) based on Android Platform 4.0.4 aka ICS. It is targeted for:
* Anyone who wants to be on the stock release, doesn't want to use ODIN.
* Wants to build a custom rom, and needs an official base. (see post #2)...
* Or, you just want a baseline.

Well it is Stock, untouched, except for the deodexing and zipaligned. Your kernel and radios will be updated as in the official update. The only thing I have left out is the recovery, and I can provide a flashable one later, if you really really want to be stock for any future OTA update. See the optional flash if you need busybox and su.
- DeOdexed as per my stringent process, no using Kitchen or any other nonsense. Every apk get's what it needs in the classpath.
- zipaligned.
- all ownsership and permissions exactly as in stock install.
- Untouched UXLF5 boot image (i.e kernel + ramdisk).
- Your radio/modem will be updated to UXLF3.
- [OPTIONAL] If you want to flash busybox/su see the ADD-ONS. This will effectively root your install.
- [OPTIONAL] If you want the modified boot.img that enables init.d scripts, bootanimation, insecure boot, then flash the boot.img listed in the add-ons

Pretty straight forward. The only requirement is you need CWM 5 and above (I have tested with the touch recovery). NOTE: THIS WILL WIPE DATA.
1) Backup, Nandroid preferred.
2) Download and Copy the ROM to your device. (Please make sure you check the MD5SUM, the dowload link has the correct one).
3) Copy any additional add-ons you want to your devices, internal or external sdcard.
4a) Boot into CWM recovery (remember that is the requirement).
4b) In your recovery format /system (in touch recovery it is under: "mounts and storage)
4c) wipe data and cache partition
5) Flash the ROM.
6) [OPTIONAL] If you want busybox and su (binaries only). This will ROOT your phone. Flash it now.
7) [OPTIONAL] If you WANT the modified boot.img (modified ramdisk + stock kernel) flash that.
8) [OPTIONAL] If you want to flash a *different* radio, flash it now.
9) reboot

thanks mohan,i can now post this in my post
remember i was talking to u about rooting a short while ago so i could post a tutorial, its done and they made it a sticky.
one question, is there a way to unroot without flashing stock
edit: im guessing that there is no stock recovery in this rom, making it a stockish firmware
edit: i answered my own question about unrooting, just delete su from /bin and /xbin directories
downloading

Yup just deleting the binaries is enough to "unroot". I may update the op with the revert script (busybox and su) and the respective stock recovery, when i get chance..

oh great, i just finished detailing a newb guide to explain a temporary unroot and permanent unroot methods, a script would of been easier to use, btw that su/bb file works like a charm on any firmware
kinda missed the touchwiz smoothness... too bad there isnt a 14 toggle compatible with this. hopefully one day soon.

Flashing the UCLF6 toggle zip worked for me.
Very nice work, Maybe I should give it a try lol.
i have installed this on my SGH-i727 ATT handset.
By far this rom gives the best battery and performance...
Thanks op...
But this rom is having shutdown/reboot freeze issue.
Embryo 4.1 is discharging battery than any other roms, otherwise it is also ok.
Can I use Twrp to flash this? Sorry for the noob question

One last thing: Will the 15-toggle mod work for this ROM? Because I have heard of success from others and I just wanted to confirm with you, the dev.

Hi mohan,
Is there any way you could do the same for Rogers GB? It would be a great help for me. As ICS is crap I get RR and freezes. It doesn't get the right time zones and etc.
Incredible rom! Just had my skyrocket for 2 weeks, flashed 5-6 jb roms, vincoms the best imo, seanscreamz close behind.
I thought I'd come back to stock for a couple reasons. One, to get a baseline and see how good stock Rogers ics is battery wise, two, I can't seem to get nfc figured out and want to see if stock will do it. A co-worker has a stock ics sgs3, we can transfer apps, web addresses etc., but where he transferred a feature film to a different co-worker with a stock Rogers ics sgs3, via nfc in about 30 seconds, it fails with my skyrocket. I notice that their phones have sbeam in addition to nfc and android beam, maybe that's the difference. But I was wondering if there's issues transferring between ics and jb?
Thanks!

Sorry to double post but I thought this would be as good a place as any to post this. Went in to Rogers today to get my lte SIM card, to my surprise they didn't even charge me! I can't believe these speeds the screen shot shows the speed is double my Wi-Fi speeds at home! And look at the comparison to the 3g or H+ too, that's just sad. I'm expecting to pay for it battery wise but I can live with that for these speeds!
