first off id like to let everyone know i hate my first post being a request for help. anyhow. i installed hardspl... made my bmp... downloaded spalshtool... but here comes the problem. for some un godly reason my window vista home premium will not execute nb_image_converter when i click on it i get a pop up that says windows has closed this program... i have probably one of the ugliest splash on my phone now... so what i request is either a way around my problem... or (the easier) a somewhat decent looking splash already in splash.nb form. thank you all in advance... i have used the search and also have probably read 100+ pages to try to work it out.

To change the splash screen I just replace the file \Windows\welcomehead.96.png with a new graphic. You can get splashscreens here: http://picasaweb.google.no/Tec.Tarnder/SplashScreens
Convert the .jpg to .png and then rename and copy.

You can click on my splash screens that I have already made in my signature, and if you like send me a 240 x 320 image and I can make you a custom splash screen.

OK I have made some splash screens for the Kaiser /TyTN II / Tilt. Thanks to tec1106 for providing the images to xda-developers and for gimini for showing me the images.
If anybody else wants a splash screen made just let me know.

I believe he was asking for root. This doesn't make someone 'sick', although I do agree the OP could've at least SEARCHED first.
OP: Look here. It has everything you need to know. I simply searched for 'sgs4g' in the device box. Please search before creating a thread to keep forum clutter to a minimum.
try super one click root, i used it on my infuse and it worked perfectly

It keep's boot looping , i ported this ROM 100% to my knowledge .I will post my final downlaod link that way you could look at & fix it if you want but i won't be working on this anymore because it's to much of a headache and i don't know wh at more i could do to try to attempt to do this . I even worked with 3 people on this & none of them even knew . I stopped this port , it's 100% from what i know & it's not booting it's just boot looping which is a good start , if your a developer please PM me if you want to continue it i might get someone to help me tommorrow though .

Don't you have a simcard ? 3G is known to be working even if it's a SDK port . Test it out if you want . Link is up now .

Thought everything worked.
No problem , i'm not sure myself if it'll boot but if it boot's at least to the LG screen w/ the touchscreen button's lighting up that mean's it's close . Let me know result's when someone flash's . CM kernel i used .

*UPDATE*
It bootloop's but when you touch the screen the button's illuminate , it's reading the ROM somewhat now i just have to find out what's wrong .
It gets to the custom boot animation, then it keeps on looping. It's one step closer though.
I'm always willing to be a tester for you, if you need one. Just let me know.
Do the button's light up when you touch the screen ?

you are the man! Thanks for getting this started, lets hope this will get to atleast a working condition!
For me, it boots until after the custom boot logo. Then the phone only has a black screen and the touchscreen recognizes touch. ADB works.
I'll be working on it no worries .

So I'm curious, in the OP you state what works. But then you say along with others that you can't get past boot.
So how do you know what works if it doesn't even boot?
Either way, excited for this project and looking forward to what's to come!

the one that has a black background and a red line forms de "b" logo and then beats audio appears below the "b" and the "b" pulses like a if it was a speaker I'll see if I can find a vid
