SGS tools has a gps fix, it can be found in the forums. It was made by Fr4gg0r. I haven't had gps issues but this could help. As always run at your own risk

Thanks. I'll look into that.

As usual, if you have odd issues that other's aren't reporting - try starting over with a reflash. Flashing isn't perfect, so alot of times a re-flash will take care of these issues.
I've had some GPS issues since going to EA11 but i'm gonna try the newer ROM before I do a complete reinstall if needed. Foresquare never gets my location when I hit refresh lately.
When I switched to the eb16 pnp, I went ahead and installed a couple adons like the sgs touchwiz update and navigator apps from uscc(just used to using it). The gps is pinpoint accurate almost instantly unlike in previous the previous roms, and everything is super fast with voodoo

This sounds really stupid but try not moving when you put in the address.. unless I'm out in the open my Google gps won't give me a route until I stand still

I am having the same issues. If your GPS is locking right away what radio are you guys using?
This is annoying.... I have tried all possible GPS fixes there are out there and nothing at all works...
I am running the 1.16.00.042w_1 baseball firmware...
It's the news one... Is that what everyone else is running???

I was having problems until I read into it a little. What I did was download the app GPS Status off of the android market. Once opened pressed menu, tools, manage A-GPS State. I clicked reset first then did the above again and then clicked the download option. Then I turned on all 3 gps settings (vzw, google, and local gps) and bam it just worked. I hope this helps a little.
Hey folks. Using the OTA for rooted phones. My.GPS doesn't lock for ****.
The only.time I get a decent lock.OS when using the navigation and the it seems to take forever. Any suggestions on how to remedy this.
Thanks!

Are you running the updated baseband?

Updated baseband and bad gps
I have CM7 and the updated baseband and just went for a run and was not able to get runkeeper to pick up my location until the end. I just tried bloater again, I'll let you know if that fixes things.
I experienced the same thing when I came from EB 2.3.3. Went to ROM Manager and used Fix Permissions. Seemed to lock much quicker after that, don't know why.
Hello all,
If you'd like Bluetooth calling fixed in CM 7.2 RC3, please star this bug:

Thanks guys!
As of now "16 people starred this issue"
Haven't been using CM for awhile, but was thinking of going back. Can't do it w/o bluetooth. Starred it.
Starred this. I tried Owain's zip on EB 2.3.7, BT music worked but no phone. Hope CM figures this out.

Starred as well, nice to know I'm not the only one with this issue like some developers have made it seem.
Good luck to us all, lol.
Have the issue but I couldn't find where to "star"it. Does it have to be done from a desktop or can you star it from teh phonez?

Should work from your phone too. Just login with your Google credentials then the option to star/comment will appear.

Something better than just starring an issue is to provide 'logcat's to help troubleshoot exactly what the problem is. Google for details on how to do it. Ideally comparison between a working BT call and a non-working BT call.

The option to star is sortof hidden at the bottom of the page on my phone.
Also, if you are not getting voice confirmations when voice dialing via bluetooth then I think we should star this: http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?can=1&start=0&num=100&q=voice%20confirmation&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Version%20Model%20Network%20Owner%20Summary%20Stars%20Priority&groupby=&sort=&id=3636
I have starred this as well but am experiencing this with other roms as well... must be me.
The new bb causes all roms to have no bt except stock. You can down grade your bb and bt will be working again.
starred!

OK, here it goes.
I have two Infuse phones. One is running 4.1 and the other is on android 4.2. I noticed that probably (it is my guess) due to the merge not being full or complete yet the Wi-Fi tether is not working.
I tried using Foxfi but this app crashes as soon as I enable it. So my question is, has anyone had the same issue or knows a workaround?
I read a lot of posts on the internet regarding this but nothing really related to 4.2 and most of solutions are using an external APP. Should I be just patient and wait for the full merge?
Am I doing to many questions? xD Thanks in advance.

Thetering in 4.2 works fine on my infuse, flash again and do the 3 wipes before and after flash.... Maybe this work for you, maybe not but how knows....

That's exactly what I'm doing right now.
Edit: Don't know what's goin. It says "turning hotspot on", but sits there and never turns it on. :S
I reflashed from scratch twice and this single feature doesn't work, all other things are working perfectly, but the tethering isn't. What's funny is that all over the internet you're going to find similar issues on 4.2, that's why I wonder if it's not related to that not being stable yet on 4.2.

I need to do some testing when I get home, but I think I found the root of my issue.
