Root Tools is another one and it come pre-loaded with some decent fonts.

A really nice font is the one from Windows 7 phones which is Segoe WP ... its clean, and very readable
you can download the font in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=678190
and use Font Changer (root) to change it.. though you must have root on your system. after opening Font Changer you will have a directory .FontChanger in your sdcard .. jut extract the font files in there (not in a subfolder)

Custom android font switcher...free and requires root...many preloaded fonts

For some apk's you need to edit some of the XML files in order to get a transparent background
Every apk is different so you need to find the right way
Which app do you wanna customize? maybe it already exist

I don't have a lot experience with changing xml files to but some apks have a XML file called style.xml and you just need to change some text in the XML to get a transparent background
But I'm using just the customized xda app you need
It's from the indroid ota app its black transparent with white letters
maybe you can ask Indroid dev team for some info
EDIT: The apk from indroid is the free version but i saw you have the premium version

Boot screen

How would I go about changing the boot screen I am running CyanogenMod 7.1
Sent from my HERO200 using xda premium
Search the themes and apps thread for bootanimation and splash screen and you should be able to rind what your looking for. I think it says somewhere in rhe forum rules something about Search before you ask, doesnt it ?...later

Download Rom Toolbox by Jrummy16. Worth every penny. I am not sure whether or not the lite version will change the bootanimations but you can give it a shot.
Or...download a bootanimation, should be a .zip file and push it to /system/media with root explorer.

Yes, the Lite version does include boot animations, it also includes fonts, Icon changer, and a theme chooser.
In my opinion, I must agree it is well worth the time to download it from the market...

ROMToolbox is in the market.

Have you tried Font Installer? Works great for me.
Thanks Devs. From my VZW G2.
Font installer doesn't work for me. Apparently I'm not sure where they're stored. iFont works ok

Rom toolbox, go into lg settings, pick any font but Roboto. Goto Rom toolbox, pick a font and download it. Rom toolbox will ask to reboot, do it.
Now after phone is restarted go into settings, NOW pick ROBOTO. It has become what you downloaded and installed on Rom Toolbox.
I restart again to make sure it's applied , throughhout

Does this have to be on paid version of rom toolbox?
Sent from my LG-D800 using xda app-developers app
Search Font Installer in the Play Store, it's what is included in Rom Toolbox.
Thanks Devs. From my VZW G2.
I use ifont. Works perfectly!
