Ok another update for steel blue- notifications have blue transparency background, made scrollbar blue, added window animation, and download bar is blue and gray but it flickers back to original color. Everything else is still the same. Don't know if there are any other changes i can make to blue theme

I tried but it wouldn't let me post links in that section from my phone so I was originally on here asking for help to post them. Then I tried uploading them from my computer and it worked so I just need to try and get this moved to theme section and I hope you like it. It took me awhile to get the transparent notification bar.

think it broke my phone a little, screen only stays on for a few seconds, a lot of fc's, running kd1 deodexed with the lockscreen mods... i'll keep you posted on any fixes i find
I have it on my SGS4G and not had 1 problem or force close but I'm not using the mod with the lock screens

If this is like the accurate batt mod then its not compatible with the lock screen mod. I havent tried it yet, but your issue happened to me with the batt mod

Great job, nice work. If it can be made compatible with the lockscreen mod, I would love it!! Unfortunetly it doesn't work with the lockscreen mod which will be keeping me from using. Thank you for your work though its looks great

I'm new to making themes but I read some ppl wanted the transparent notification bar so thought I would try to make one. And I used UOT Kitchen and modified the twframework-res.apk and didn't have any problems just had to change the name back to twframework-res.apk cause after you modify it it changes to framework-res.apk

I't possible. However it's a lot of work. You have to redo all the icons with a paintprogram. Rynoons actually made a white statusbar for the X10, see here:

The white statusbar looked really awesome on my white X10. However a white statusbar has some problems though.
-The color of the clock can't be changed as far as I know. That's why Rynoons added a black box. However when a message appears in the statusbar (like when connecting the phone to the pc), the clock (letters) will disappear. However the blackbox stays (as it's part of the statusbar background).
-Some SE apps (like mail, Timescape, Mediascape etc) include icons with a blue background. These icons will remain when using the white statusbar and thus will just not look right.
That's why I removed the white statusbar after some days of use and reverted to a black statusbar. Still some icons appear to be on a blue background. However they don't stand out that much on black as they did on white.
U can adjust the font colors by modifying the odex files. I have wanted a white status bar and black letters since I got the phone too. I'm working on it but it requires a lot of work. Hopefully this weekend.

I've tried deodex the whole framework, and changed the color in services.jar. And then transfer the jar files to the x10 and odex all the files. but after restart the mobile phone froze on the bootscreen.
If I change the services.jar, I need to deodex the applications too? or just the framework?
As I understand it everything needs to be deodexed, then pushed back to the phone where it will be reodexed. Keep in mind the phone will take a while to startup bc its odexing everything.
I may be wrong and I still don't fully understand it. Lots of stuff to learn, not enough time.

Not only framework-res.apk is required for this mod., services.jar is essential for changing clock color

Tried.. Tab hanged after first boot animation, without vibration or displaying anything..

Sorry for my late reply, I was away for work. As Galaxyer stated above more file are need to change the bar to white. I have some early builds locally that I am testing but hopefully by end of week I should have something. If you could post the services.jar file from your acer as well as I could do a diff on the two to see where the clock changes are, that would save time.

That files it very specific should be deference for your mobile
Heres my two cents, you can mod all the icons and the background color but modding the clock color is a huge pita. You need to deodex then reodex, push the new files and reboot. Be forewarned that the first boot after doing odex mods takes a while. You can easily replace the icons by downloading the theme you want then use ninjamorph to make the changes. Hope this helps.

I downloaded the icon from droidpirate.com and applied it with metamorph. I did have to do some editing though. The intervals that the stock icon goes in isn't the same as the icons I found so it would switch from stock to custom. I posted a screenshot of what it looks like

Ok i love the bionix rom i just dont care for the white status and dropdown menu so i used UOT kitchen to cook a theme and i tried flashing the. Zip with framework-res. apk inside through cwm but nothing changed so i just pushed it manually and did the same with twframework and everything changed and looked nice except the icons at the top of the notification dropdown menu look like the stock froyo icons but everything else in the dropdown menu looks the way it should. I also cant find where to change the dropdown notification icons in UOT anyways? There not even an option? You figure it would be under status bar mods but i dont see anything? Anybody know a solution?

Heres some pics!! just remember there's still a couple of things that still need to be adjusted but i can handle that i just need to figure out the drop down notification icon problem. Also i forgot to mention the time is missing in the notification bar?? It showed it in green text in UOT why doesn't it show up?

Ok made some adjustments and tried again but no luck i dont know if its UOT or the ROM?? But i think it looks good so far just need to get the time green so i can see it,lol and some better dropdown menu icons the match the theme. If anybody can help me fix this it would be great, thanks.

You can't change the color of the time in UOT Kitchen only the date I would maybe make the status bar green and your icons black.
And you can cook the twframework-res.apk and make your own drop down menu. Only change the status bar in uot kitchen and you will have to unzip it and rename it back to twframework-res.apk copy it then replace it in system/framework.
