I really wanted to take the plunge for this, but I ended up going with Phantom Skinz because of Fixter's posts. The only thing is, wrapsol is solely a clear skin which can be nice or bad. They have great reviews as far as protection, orange peel, and cut/look go and that makes them a tempting purchase for anyone looking for a nice skin.
If I don't like/get tired of/tear my Phantom Skinz I'll certainly buy a Wrapsol one next!
EDIT: I should also note that they'll set you back about $29 with shipping even after the coupon.
I'm interested in the Wrapsol skin! But the $30 pricetag is a bit excessive, specially when none of the other brands are over $20 for a full body skin.... Hmm
I have used Zagg Invisible Shield, BodyGuardZ and Wrapsol on previous touch screen phones, i have had alot, and my personal oppion, is that BodyGuardsZ is best quality, less noticable on phone, Zagg would be second for my opinion, but a little glossy. Wrapsol was ok, but... not worth the price. Personal opinion though.

Was ready to pull the trigger on the wrapsol, but I will try bodyguardz after reading your post. They all have money back guarantee, but I like how warpsol was drop protection (if its true).

Skinomi are cheaper on Amazon for about $17 for full body.
I can get Zagg skins for $3. (Friend works at bestbuy).
PhantomSkin full body which has TWO full body skins for $18 including shipping.
BodyGuards design looks horrible. Even on the website the skins look like they aren't well designed and hardly cover the device.

[Discussion] Otterbox Commuter

I just bought the OB commuter from ebay, bargained at $22.95(before delivery costs. It seemed strange, now that i think about it, since OB sells them at $34.95. I'm wondering of the case might be an imitation or a knock-off. Can anyone enlighten me as to whether OB's cases are ever imitated(yet)
Any other discussion on regards with OB commuter usage is welcome too =D.
Price seems fair.
Walmart has that case for $21.70 and you could pay through Paypal.
I ordered my Defender case from Walmart for $29 and it arrived in 5 days. 2 thumbs up for Walmart. lol.

I ordered mine from ebay bro. I'm from Malaysia too. Lol.
I have the defender and I find I get dust and dirt in through the speaker hole and it creeps down over the screen. So I don't use it anymore.. back to the neo case for me.
Commuter arrived!
The provided screen protector is bubbling from pressure from my keys. I'll need to order more screen protects. Will be posting images to the first post for other users to gaze at in case they'd want to know what it's like

Skinomi 95 cent sale

Plus $2.95 shipping.
Makes it $3.90 shipped. Arrives in 4 days.
Maybe its worth this.. Amazon prices fluctuate
http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi-TechS...OF9C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336438044&sr=8-1
What the heck, I ordered mine yesterday from Amazon and paid $6.99 + shipping =(
For that price I might as well try it out.
Hmmm.. very tempting. Report back on how this fits.
might as well buy 2 or more lo
nvm they charge 2.95 or whatever for each
They suck if you are using a case, especially a TPU case. Most TPU cases (like mine) will push on the edges of the screen protector, causing them to bubble, very annoying. I put mine on today, and also ripped it off today.
Just installed mine. I'm anticipating this problem. The edges already seem like they are a little off the side due to a poor placement. So they won't likely stay in place. Not sure what I'm going to replace it with...
Rabble rabble rabble.
Just order one plus a generic clear plastic case. will let you know how they work together.
what clear case did you order? i been looking
I just ordered one for $3.90 total. Can't complain. Just wish I noticed it before I ordered the Zagg one. But thats ok Ill have a spare in case the zagg one craps out on me.
Sucks I only got 25% off of mine using the coupon code on Skinomi's site, but I may just have to get another one to have as a backup. I love the feel of it on the HOX. Feels much better than Zagg.
I installed mine last night. It is a pretty nice protector, the feel is great and it doesn't have much orange peel. In certain light you can tell it is there. But in terms of screen clarity it is invisible. Only gripe is that I installed it a tiny tiny bit lopsided so the edges are over the edge of the phone. When I put my TPU case on it bubbles up the edges. Just ordered another with this deal. Might have to exchange my device anyway since the screen is dimpling when I touch it.
for $4, sure why not
I ordered this a week or two ago. It's on my One X as well but I have a TPU case and the edges constantly bubble up
Want to go naked but I always end up scratching screen when I do. Might rock with no case.
Does it come with one screen protector or two?
In the past when I've bought screen protectors they've often come in packs of two which has been good as I usually screw up the first application.
Wet styles just come with one.

I wish they had this deal last week! I ordered the SGP ultra oleophobic for like $15 instead. Just sitting on my desk waiting for the One X to arrive! (damn amazon)

I did not. I have since removed it. But I could tell the imperfections that were there were going to clear up.

Clarivue screen protectors open for pre-order

Clarivue (www.clarivue.com) have opened pre-orders for their line of Nexus 4 screen protectors (ETA 26 November). I have no connection with the company other than as a customer, but I thought I'd pass along the information.
They offer four varieties: clear, anti-glare, privacy, and mirror. The first two are $12.99 for a pair; the other two are sold as singles, $19.99 for the privacy and $15.99 for the mirror. These are pre-order prices and presumably will go up at some point. There's also a 10% off coupon, code "clarivue2012", good through 10 December. Shipping is free.
These are dry-application and cover the full flat surface of the screen (but not the curved shoulders, which I've seen a number of people here requesting).
I've been using the anti-glare version on my LG G2x for 18 months and have been happy with the performance: only very minor image degradation (and I imagine that will be even better on the Nexus 4, considering how close the pixels are to the screen surface) but very good diffusion of reflected images. I'm a Swype user, so the keypad area tends after a few months to get polished and more reflective; however, Clarivue has a lifetime replacement policy, and I had no hassle at all getting a free replacement protector. I really like the paper-like feel to the surface, as well; I find that a bare glass screen tends to be a bit "grabby" if my fingers are slightly damp from perspiration, and that's not a problem with the protector.
I've ordered a pair of the anti-glare protectors; I'll try to remember to post an update here when they arrive and I've applied one.

Love Clarievue, been using them for years (maybe 10) top notch product. and yes I am not assisted with them just a very happy customer.
These better then spi spigen? I'm looking for the best dry screen protector and I don't know which ones to go with. Both are rather expensive so I want to make sure I just the right ones.
I can't compare them, having never used spigen. Sorry.
Thanks for the heads up. I've always liked their product.
Just FYI you can use promo code "clarivue2012" for 10% off.

I've used both on several devices and haven't been disappointed with either. I also really like the Tech Armor ones (good quality and much cheaper) but they haven't announced one for the Nexus 4 yet.
Quick note: I just got email from Clarivue saying that the screen protectors will ship tomorrow. However, they have now added a back protector as well, so those who had preordered, like me, could opt either for a front-only package shipped tomorrow or a free upgrade to a front+back package shipping on 30 November. I don't know what the retail cost of the front+back package will be; it's not on their web site yet. I'm holding off for the front+back package.
I've used both SGP and Clarivue in the past and I love both.
Hmmm... I wish they let you purchase just the back protector. Maybe I should send them a message and see what they say.
Thinking about buying the anti-glare one today. 25% off with their Black Friday sale!
Just preordered a pack of 2 front and back protectors for $14,99 (12€). Nice catch!
I'm very happy with the SGP films for my Nexus S and Nexus 7, so if Clarivue is as good as those it should be a good deal.
I ordered the 2front + 2back as well with the 25% coupon. Let's see how they compare.
I only ordered the Front. I'm probably going to be putting it in a clear case so the back part isn't as important to me.
I just got an email from Clarivue saying that my order is shipping, so I should have it within a week (hopefully coinciding reasonably well with my receiving my replacement N4, the original being RMA'ed for a defective camera LED).
So I asked them is there a proximity sensor cut out for these protectors and this is the answer I got.
Hello,
Thank you for writing to us.
The first batch (for pre-order) may be missing the cut out for proximity sensor, but starting with our next batch, which will arrive before end of next week, they should include the cut out at top left corner.
If you have more questions or comments regarding our products and services, feel free to contact us.
Best Regards,
Jay

So I would wait on these before I order them.
Gee, that's disappointing -- thanks for the info. Guess I'll be doing a bit of surgery on the ones that are currently in the mail, sigh...
Anyone received their screen protectors yet? I preordered, but nothing yet.
Thanks for sharing.
I have been looking for a anti-glare dry back protector for sometimes, emailed SGP about it but they didn't reply my email. I'm going to order it from Clarivue now.

I preordered, but when they emailed me on Nov. 22 giving me a choice between immediately shipping just the screen protectors or waiting a week for a free upgrade to front+back protectors, I opted to wait. I got a notice from them on Nov. 27 that my order had shipped, with expected delivery in 5-10 business days, so I imagine they will arrive sometime next week.
Just got mine in the mail today and there is no proximity sensor cutout. Awesome. I already emailed them and will update with their response.
I also got mine today and installed it on my sisters phone. Even though it has no cutout for the sensor it doesn't affect the phone when on a call or rotating the phone. Overall I like the quality of the protector.

How does it handle the curved edge and what does it feel like? Assuming they next batch has the cut out, I may be interested, but only if it doesn't feel rubbery (really hoping it has a glass like feel).

Xtremeguard screen protectors

They haven't been the best lately but something is something when protecting the screen while waiting for something better.
I just put in my order for 3 wet install fronts. I don't see a need or how the backs would stick or work on the v10 textured back.
I used the code giant90 it gives 90% off sitewide and free shipping. Imho for $2.40 shipped why not..
Edit. Oh that car mount is decent enough, if you have a bouncy car though it shakes the phone a lot.
Edit: Previous code expired Nov 8. New code found via google search FALL91 gives 91% off sitewide on x2+ items. SUMMER80 gives 80% sitewide on x1+ items.
EDIT: I got the wet install, the edges are cut out really badly, ended up lifting and gathering lint.
EDIT: I just got the glass screen protectors, off the bat 1 had the smaller potion near the cams broken, a second was snaped in half. The third went on nicely, fits great, looks great and feels great. Except it was leaning against the squeegee in the kit and left and impression on the adhesive side, I didn't notice until I had already put it on. It's really a shame it would have looked nice.
Thanks the site has good stuff.
I've asked them for a tempered glass for our phones because they're so ridiculously cheap with their constant coupons, but they are still hesitant. dbrand isn't doing skins, they don't think the demand is there.

EDIT: 3 spartan class protectors for $8.10, I also like to add the $0.99 rush since it's already so cheap, they usually process it right away.

I ordered the Spartan Tempered Protector with the Fall91 coupon too, but it made me order two for the coupon to work instead of just one. But even after buying two, after the coupon plus rush Shipping, the grand total was less than the average price for one Tempered Glass Protector on Amazon. Great coupon, and now I have a spare one to boot!
Man I got my wet install screen protectors already. Sent Allan a complaint email. They are just really shotty, the cut is just bad. I used one anyways to protect the screen while I wait for shipment of the Glass protector.
EDIT: Sorry about the detail, I bought 3-5 items, didn't realize it requires 2+ items for FALL91 to work. SUMMER80 works for 1 or more items.
