[30/07] Fatal1tyMod - V_0.1 [32B]

Hi guys,
I've had some time, and I started playing around with the last CM release 3.9.2 so, I've tweaked a few things, and it came out with this ROM, if you just want the plain porting there is a thread for that, otherwise, give it a try:

(Based on CM-3.9.2)
-few tweaking on init.rc
-gived more memory trashold for the home apps (it shouldn't effect everybody, just the one that have the home full of widget)
-FULLY multi-language support ( in the CM version, almost the 70% of apps are in english)
-Upgraded apn list, with italians carrier
-Using Launcher of irrenhaus (last update 30/07)
-Using modified Mms apps of senab (it allows you to change user agent)
-Using modified Phone from cytown
-Other changes that I don't remember of!

Don't ask in this thread for the Hero version, don't know if I'm going to update it, cause I saw a lot of improvements with compcache, during my abscence, and I don't want to steal others developers work!

If you like the palm pre theme you can use it!

Given it a go...Browser will not run for me, not suprising as it's based on a rom for which Browser crashes.
Any idea what it could be, as I'm assuming Browser (and therefore email and market!) work for most people. I've been wiping before flashing, and have tried a new, formatted mSD card. Other things seem to work fine, phonecalls, sms etc.
Would love to get these newer rom's working as they feel a lot faster!

I just added the italian's one to the cyanogen's list... don't know witch carrier do you have, I'll see if I could find the settings for it!

Thanks for your work! runing nice in my magic.
Find a bug... in unlock screen i am at 62% battery and says "plug charger"... I dont wipe before instal it, but coming from a modified CRC1, dunno if i need to wipe before instal it.
Is compcache enabled? or must to use swapper with swap partition? Have a swap partition of 32mb when i instaled rom.
And last one, could you add the apn from vodafone spain in next release? i attach a TXT with it

This seems to be a cm 3.9.2 bug
They found out that it only seems to be in other languages than english.
In english it is fine. In every other language you get the plug in charger msg all the time.

Currently I'm using this ROM together with the Kspec Oreo v34 lite for CM 3.9.2 and I find it very stable and speedy.

Great to see a froyo rom, I liked your 2.1 rom, great modding of the frameworks, downloading soon, and testing then. Can we excpect that you will go for FRF72 Rom soon? Maybe you can easily update this one?

So are there still any bugs in here like a light sensor that does not work, or camera/filming function that does not work?

Do you think it's better than last version(2.6.32). In my case, Radio:1.59.46.12, Kernel:2.6.32, but no-one can run smooth in my Polaris include Froyo, Eclair, Donut.
Camera and Headset can not work everytime.
Let it pass, maybe I'm without LUKY

For now everything runs smooth and is working! ) cam, wlan, standby and the apps i use. Will report about bt and gps later as i'm driving a longer distance today. Cheers and thx again!

i have a black screen when i start haret

Did you use old haret and old initrd.gz?

Thanks downgrading the kernel to 2.6.25 now the installation of Incubus26jc's Super Froyo [RLS15] on my XDA Orbit 2 (Pola 200) works. Before with the new 2.6.32 kernel I didn't have success at all.

i used the haret and initrd.lzma (renamed to .gz) from the sticked thread of using android on windows.
i tried to use rls15

Installation
Install ROM
1. Reboot in ClockworkMod recovery
2. Make a NANDroid backup (Optional: in case you wnat to go to previous version)
3. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
4. Wipe Dalvik Cache
5. Wipe Battery Stats (Optional)
6. Navigate to "Install zip from sdcard" --> "Choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the downloaded rom zip file
7. After installation, reboot
The first boot may take some time, so wait.... if it freezes for more than 10 min, reboot the phone.
Install INT2EXT
If you like to increase the storage for application, you can use INT2EXT
Partition ur sd card in recovery. (Do not partition for SWAP partition) and follow the instructions in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124
Note: Do not install SWAP2INT if prompted
Reboot
Install Gapps
I recommend using slim Gapps from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265564

In-call screen is not the main problem... the most important problem is Camera and after that battery draining...

Wonderful ROM, it booted into safe mode the first time but it is working really neat right now, I feel like you are getting really close to the sensor thing.
@mortal19xx IMHO I can't stand a rom without camera, it's just a big no for me.

The camera does work may be it is not perfect, even i was able to capture picture in panorama mode but it is bit laggy

I flash it...its good.,,camera work but not perfect,,,its laggy...battery drains fast...gallery is good but cant scroll the pics with the arrow keys on keyboard...i install my favorite game hill climb racing but show FC,,,wifi can find the network but cant connect to it,,i take a antutu benchmark test and score was 3602 thats not bad at all,,whatever with all of these bugs,,u did a great job pal,,and i appreciate that...thanks a lot...:thumbup:

Best CM 10.1 Rom so far.
the best thing is that the caller is now working great
The camera actually is better the other CM 10.1 Rom , smooth on my phone, and even can record the movie
the gallery is (weird) laggy though. But it's not a bid deal since quickpic is a perfect one for replacing
Haven't test the battery yet but the other thing I've noticed is that the live wallpaper doesn't work on this rom

No,,the wireless modem is working cuzz i connect to it with the stock rom...but with this rom cant connect,,i dont know whats the problem,,maybe i should reflash it to fix,,,

gps is working fine, I wiped my chacha yesterday and weather widget got my city right.
Monster shooter is working for me, dunno what you did man but this is a totally new chacha for me

Tried this,But unfortunately didn't do it for me ! Many issues,
First and foremost the phone becomes incredibly slow,Second the FC of phone "Process.android.phone",The whether doesn't work.
So overall a bummer for me ! had to revert to CM7.2,If these things are worked out would love to have this.

Are you gen2? Big enough /system, you need a 180mb or you will have issues. It's all fine on my device. Did you wipe data? You must wipe data if you're coming from CM7.2, also make sure you have an up to date recovery

Yeah I had converted my gen1 to gen 2 using gen1-gen2 tpt,Its now with 215Mb System,203mb Data,37Mb Cache !! I had completely wiped all data including dalvik,So that's not it !
It also gives FC on Trubecht or something ! Am not sure whats the issue but things not working that's the bottom line..

Didn't try at all,I straight away tried yours as it was more recent (with some more work done to better it by you I presume),If you say I will try that and report back.

Try it and see, I'd be interested to see the result. I'm only keeping it more up to date by syncing with the latest CyanogenMod source code

Well tried it multiple times but fails to install,gives installation aborted message "Sdcard:Setparam error,(Status7)".
So had to reinstall yours,But before that I did some stuff which helped a bit !
I formatted the SD card to start a fresh,with nothing on the card I copied the repartition image folder and did the repartition again just to make sure its not the issue with partition or size !
Next tried the Kangs ROM and failed as mentioned above,Next tried yours and was able to successfully install the ROM,installed Gapps from Kangs (after reboot from the first boot)
Long story short,it now performs much faster and better then earlier,Don't know what was the issue earlier but its sort of sorted for now (although some lag persists,but guess have to live with it).
Thanks once again for the replies. Any guesses as to why the original one failed and not yours ??
Also can we expect FM to be operational in your next build ??

Weird, no idea what caused all those issues, but if it's now working then awesome! I can't get FM to compile with my builds for some reason, I may be missing some patches so I'll try again tomorrow. You can just take the FM apk out of KonstaKANG zip and install it to your system, that should work. But I'll compile and upload another build tomorrow regardless of FM compiling or not. I'll add FM to my /system from KonstaKANG tomorrow and double check it works, which it should (may need some other files), if it does then I'll just copy paste the FM apk across.
