[Q] HTC Hub applications missing - HTC Desire S

Hi,
I have a friend who bought the Desire S.
I know there's a picasa integration application for HTC Gallery app, but I can't find on its HTC Hub application.
The whole category of "Apps and plugins" is missing from his Hub application.
Does anyone have by chance the apk and can post it somewhere?

It should be somewhere in virtuous unity rom, i'll find an upload it tommorow.

The picasa app comes when you update through OTA (official HTC update). There are two updates. After the update came a notification that picasa & linkedin is available...

I had it on the stock rom, but it wasn't very good integration. Regularly hung the gallery. I have switched to using Picasa Tool app from the marketplace. Very good alternative.

Sense Facebook app?

I just got my mt4g, however I cannot find a short cut to Sense Facebook or Peep, is this normal? Only way I can get to it is by using the widgets. Please and thank you

[Q] Facebook Contact Sync

Does anybody know why when I sync my contacts with facebook on a non sense rom my contacts do not get their pictures. But when I sync with a sense rom they get the whole 9?
I know when I had that problem I had to edit every contact ,click menu, and then link... Also, did you sync all in Facebook?

I did sync only existing contacts, I'm going to change it to all.

HTC Facebook Chat Widget

Hey,
is there any way to port the HTC FBChat Widget from the HTC Salsa to the Sensation?
I can't post images, but if you search for htc facebook chat widget on google, you will see what i mean.
That would be pretty awesome.
Check on the 3d forums on apps I got it working for the EVO 3d , requireds HTC sense 3.0 so might work on the sensation

Umm he's saying it might work because it requires sense 3.0 which the sensation has...he didn't say anything that requied you telling him to do some homework what he said was accaurate. Not sure whats up with the constant pissy-ness that has infected xda as of late... as for the OP's question, I would say if its working on the EVO 3D it'll work for us, the phones are nearly identical.

I extracted and installed everything from that zip but it still comes up with "you don't appear to be signed in" after I've signed in and rebooted. I'm on HTC clay's version of leedroid.

Working fine for me all I did was download them 3 files from the 3d thread directly on my phone. I opened the facebook app and signed out, I then pressed each one of the downloaded files and installed them.
I then signed back into the facebook app and it asked to allow htc salsa and I said yes, and its all working even the widget.

When I logged out of facebook for htc sense and pushed the new facebook all I no longer have facebook for htc sense in the accounts and sync so I can't resync my contacts but the chat app works is there a way to get the facebook for htc sense back in the accounts and sync because it isn't there to add new account and still have the fbchat app and widget working.

This same thing happened to me as well. I'm running the Stock 2.3.4 OTA but the odexed version. I had the same problem on Stock odex 2.3.3 too. Tried the whole logging out and back in but the FB for HTC Sense dissapears even after a reboot. Tried just installing the widget and chat app with the accompanying HtcFacebook because I am running the odex but it just will not sign me in.
I gave up for now. I'm guessing a lot of my problems stem from the fact that I'm odexed still and this is not.

News apk

Can anyone post the apk for the news application on the stock google rom? The one with the weather in one page and the news on another page. Thank you!

Here you go. Mine has a themed widget, but it'll suit it's purpose.
Ps. I've never "installed". I just push it to system/app for every new ROM. Also, I think Manup's the one who themed the ROM I grabbed it from, so kudos to him.

Facebook Picture Contact Syncing on Sense 3.5

Hi all!
I've noticed that Sense 3.5 ROMs no longer have Facebook for HTC Sense so contact pictures are no longer synced across.
Is this the case or am I missing something?
If not has anyone got an alternative?

It's now just called Facebook under Accounts. Same thing, but cleaned up.

Its the same. If you log into the Facebook app its ask you to link HTC sense too. Instead of login in twice as per before you only do it once. Just cleaned up like said above
