All the major launcher work great on Honeycomb. I am using ADW EX and it really speeds up the homescreens.

What about GO Launcher Ex?
In Marketplace it says that it's not compatible with my Xoom?

ADW EX is the best. Gives me 6 screens, super smooth scrolling/screen switching and lots of pre-made themes and icon sets. And I love the customizable launcher bar.

N1 2.1 Launcher Work On Incredible

you can use both launcher2 or rosie, just clear the defaults...
How am I able to use the sense UI if im using the launcher?
You can also use Helix Launcher. But the only way you will get the SenseUI aka Rosie is if you use the original launcher that is included with the Incredible.
Cool. Thanks
Noob here - how do you get another launcher and still use Sense UI? Where can I find a link for something like that?

You can download the HelixLauncher from the market, its free. Still trying to figure out how to use the sense UI on another launcher....

SenseUI is part of the default Launcher (HTCSense aka Rosie). Technically it IS the default launcher. AFAIK there is no way to "Use Sense on another Launcher." You either use HTCSense or you use some other Launcher.
I tried Advance Laucher and it forced closed over and over. Which N1 Laucher are you using. Does it support multi-touch? I tried Helix but it doesn't work with multi-touch so I got rid of it.

What "multi-touch" function are you trying to use at the Launcher level? Most multi-touch is at an app level....browser, maps, gallery, etc....
The launcher I am using is from Nexus One - Cyanogen 5.0.6 rom. It support multi-touch for pic, browser, map, etc..... But the stock rom does the multi-touch already.

That sucks. I was really hoping to use the sense UI on a n1 launcher. Thanks.
I mean, where do yall find all these launchers from? I'm sorry, I just don't know. Still trying to learn as much as possible about, Android. I need a mentor

Could you post a link for the launcher that you are using?

Not sure if you were asking me or the other poster. The Helix Launcher is available for free in the Market. Honestly, though, I am using the default HTCSense Launcher. I can't imagine why anyone would want anything else.
I've used helix but it seems laggy to me so I was looking for the one he said he pulled from cyanogen.
Yeah, I mean I love the Sense UI. But one of the reasons I wanted to get into Android and get an Android phone was to do whatever I wanted and customize and try out anything and everything. Kind of sucks to have limited options when I was hoping to be able to do everything everyone else is doing with their phones.
I too would like to know how to get the Cyanogen Mod on the Incredible.
I'm guessing this is the one they are referring to. I is Launcher2.apk pulled from the Cyanogen Sholes/Droid ROM. You should be able to put it on the SDCARD and install with a file manager.
Credit to Cyanogen.

Same here. I'm hoping the Incredible get rooted soon. Would like to OC my phone and install different roms. I luv the Cyanogen roms, been running it on my N1 for a while now with no issue and its blazing fast.
I like Leap

What are the advantages over ADW?
I kinda like the dockbar in ADW + the two gestures (swype up/down)
the best thing about launcher pro is it's paid version...launcher pro plus...it has a similar HTC sense UI...widgets like calendar, people and most important of all...facebook...
ADW and launcher pro plus are neck n neck...with launcher pro plus is a bit snappier...

Nice find! Though to me, it seems like it does what Timescape does when it is set as the Launcher. Still nice find though.

nice find!!! since 2.1 cant timescape as home this luks perfect!!
Doesn't work in my phone, after I've installed it, run it, stuck in the netfront screen for couple of minutes and my phone reboot itself
Works also on 2.2 ROM.
Edit:
Tested it for a while on original SE-Rom and now give a short review......
The idea is pretty well, but it´s to buggy @ the moment.....
It lags very often.
You can only add one Widget, wich is shown only about apps in the carousel which has no submenu like home or settings.
Some apps in the carousel could be replaced, such as browser, but then it´ll show you not the bookmarks.
Other apps in the carousel could not be replaced or deleted.
The contacts seemd to be shaked in the submenu.
Musik could only be played in Mediascape.
You can not set an other Player as default.
In the submenu of messaging so points doesn´t work.
There are a lot of language issues, such as some letters will not be shown or even half way.
That´s it so far.....
So i decided to stay @ADW. ;-)
Many thx, work fine
loooks sweet but i'll stick with helix launcher for now
Yeah...thanks but no thanks...LauncherPro for me

[UPDATED] GO Launcher HD v1.0 BETA 2

Hey guys just letting everyone know that the GO Dev Team has just released the beta for GO Launcher HD v1.0 -- a TABLET SPECIFIC version of their famous GO Launcher EX.
Check it out:
http://golauncher.goforandroid.com/2012/03/go-launcher-hd-v1-0-beta/
Fantastic. Exactly what I wanted the tablet version to be.
Issues:
6th folder created does not stay. The folder deletes and the icons are dumped to the all apps page.
Spelling mistake for the word "systme" When adding a widget. Should be "system".
Screen transition from portrait to landscape takes noticeably long time.
To much space between top of screen where google search is and first row of widgets only in portrait mode. Landscape is good.
Need ability to add more rows than 5. Even the custom option doesn't allow it.
I love it on my Epic and I am really liking this so far. Have not tried Apex but I have tried Nova on my phone and still found myself going back to Go.

Good stuff. Will be awesome in the future.
Launcher
I have no issue with the default launcher....
Awesome, I tried it yesterday and found no bugs...using 10 folders without any problem

Installed many different launchers to find that the default still the winner. About this one in my opinion need lots of work. (lag, wallpaper resizing issue, widget will not added unless you restart the launcher). Am not new to go launcher its installed and working perfectly on my Samsung galaxy Tab since a while with no issue....
Again its just my opinion with Go launcher HD.

The new Go Launcher HD just killed it. Wow. The setup is great. Customizations are great. Finally.

Hence...... the `beta` tag. Still pushes beyond the other ICS specific launchers, IMO.

I'll have to try this out, but I've never liked Go Launcher over ADW or Launcher Pro for my phone, its always been slower and takes up more resources compared to those 2, but we'll see how it runs on the tablet
Edit - runs really nice on the tablet, thinking its going to be a keeper
It's very polished and good features so far. Once/if it has internal icon theming controls similar to ADW I will probably use it exclusively.
I noticed that sometimes when moving or resizing widgets the launcher gets stuck in edit mode.
Aside from that and a few other bugs, this will be my new default launcher once it is out of beta stage. The amount of features and the ease of adding icons, widgets, and folders is really great. I'm glad the decided to make a tablet version of their launcher.
brilliant launcher, haven't had a problem with it at all, landscape to portrait does take a while, haven't tried folders yet... the dock bar is something I've been looking forward to, looks good too.
For a first Beta this is running very smoothly. I assume in the near future they will add many more features and themes similar to Go Launcher EX. The Go Dev Team always have put out timely updates. One of my favorite features that I have only seen in Go Launcher is app drawer folders.

A damn good start. I love the old Go Launcher but this new one is kind of nice. They need to fine tune the wallpaper application, also the window transitions are adequate but nowhere near what Nova launcher has done. I will say this, this is one of the nicest Betas I have used.
Just wanted to post that people should check back with the OP link. Version 1 Beta 2 is available.

What's your point?
People use custom launchers for the added features and customizability.

Thanks for this heads up. I happen to love Go Launcher on my phone so I'll give it a whirl. However all the auxiliary launchers are losing to stock ICS which is smooth as silk on my tablet. We shall see; it's playtime!

They may be but go launcher is perfect with the folders like iPhone. Its also very quick to load.
Skang-a-Lang ROM: The Fascinate Continuum
Yeah nothing beats ICS-Stock-Launcher in Terms of Speed and smoothness. I currently just use the normal Go Launcher Ex with a minimalistic Theme and I like it ( I use very fancy screen transitions so you cant really notice the lag )
Does this Beta already support themes? Guess I will just give it a try, my TF101 is charging atm >_>

[Q] Customise number of homescreen pages

Hi,
My 7.0 Plus has 5 homescreens, but I have 3 of these empty. Is there any way to delete these homescreens? Maybe through installation of a new launcher (I currently have the default one only)?
Any thoughts welcome! Google searching hasn't helped me yet...
3rd party launcher, yes, definetly.
Stock launcher ,no, probably never.
Thanks Chris. Can you recommend one which might do the job?
I use Launcher Pro, the best one out there imo

I was using Launcher Pro on my previous phone/tablets running GB, but found it pretty buggy and not fully supporting Honeycomb.
Switched to Launcher EX, free and superfully featured.

Look on Google for go launcher hd beta. It is specifically designed for tablets.
I use Go Launcher Ex (not Go Launcher HD beta) on my phone and my tablet. I've tried a few others but keep going back to it. Its VERY customizable and super smooth/responsive. I like the Transparency theme for it also.
I tried Go Launcher HD beta, ultimately switched back to Go Launcher Ex. I may switch back once Go Launcher HD is completed, because its still lacking some customization and is a little buggy.
