got my gtablet finally for xmas

So got my g tablet for christmas and as you have known i've been following this forum for a few weeks getting myself ready for this tablet it updated to the newest UI and now i cant seem to get clockwork installed on it, I tried even rooting it first with the z4root and still having issues with loading clockwork on it, i downloaded version that was recommended in the forum 8 and than extracted the files to the root of the sd card and now when i power it down and back up and press the power and the volume up button it goes to the typical box with the arrow in it coming out and than just boots up never loads up clockwork on the device.
the other issue im having is getting the market going the market fix is supposed to be to stop the market from running and the google services but when i go to settings and applications theres no manage application section in the new update to 3889 or whatever the version is, right now im running launcher pro so i got the vanilla android look just need the market working and to get the tnt lite or the vegan installed on it and obviously cant without clockwork, i've tried searching today and remember all the threads i've read before and for some reason i still cant seem to figure out what the issue is. i thought it would be as easy as rooting my droid but i guess i was wrong.
thanks for any advice you can offer up, other than not getting what i want to load on it so far its pretty damn good other than missing the market other than this gmarket that comes with it and not having a custom rom running yet.

Check this link for adding to stock
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=885940
or juct check the Vegan thread or tnt lite thread
To get clockwork working I put it my micro SD card. There's a thread in the dev section for installing clockwork, and an old version of tnt lite. I followed those and they worked perfectly.
If you are still having problems getting CWM to install, in your menu, security, do a factory reset then try reinstalling CWM. I have had to do this when I can't get it to install, then for some reason it installs like it should.
Thanks guys for all your help i did finally get it loaded late xmas night very happy using the vegan rom. will give tnt lite a shot maybe in a few weeks. but so far loving my tablet def appreciate all the work you guys have put into these roms to make our tablet the best it can be

[Q] How to get SGS4g to recognize adhoc networks

My virgin post so please don't rape me.
I looked at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=754961
and downloaded the zip file, which I couldn't flash for some reason, CWM was telling me that it didn't support it or something.
Anyways, seeing as that didn't work, I extrated the wpa_supplicant from the zip and pushed it in with ES file explorer's root explorer. I restarted my phone, and then wifi couldnt even start
I tried pushing the backup of the wpa_supplicant I had made but that yielded no results. With some good intuition earlier, I had made a CWM recovery which i used and now Wifi is back.
I'm running stock froyo 2.2.1, rooted and with bali kernal.
Did I do something wrong or do I need a different wpa_supplicant?
If so, could ya'll point me into the right direction?
Anyone?
Pm me.

[Q] [ROM] Clemsyn's Ultimate 6 ROM missing "My Cloud"?

I know that this would be better served in his thread, but I'm a newby to posting althought I got one of the first Transformers, but I have just installed Clemsyn's new Ultimate and "My Cloud" seems to be missing. Just wondeing if anyone else has had this issue.
I have formatted everyting and of course formatted my external SD card in the process which of course had my titanium backup.. but I digress..
Anybody else have this issue.
FYI I'm sure this is just me and Clemsyn's Roms are the best in my opinion.. They make this thing fly.
I just did a factory reset and then re-installed a fresh download of his ROM so I'm now thinking it's just not me but that it's supposed to be gone? I really liked that Asus was including that..
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Open the stock zip up and look for the apk in /system. Pull the APK and put it on the TF and install it
Thank you very much for the quick response..
I downloaded the firmware and of course it hasn't been broken down so that you can edit it so I was unable to get to a /system folder.
Downloaded prime 1.9.1 and saw the .apk located there.
I enabled side loading to install it and when I try I get the blurb screen that says it's going to modify stuff and then I get
X Application not installed.
Any ideas? I PM'ed Clemsyn and haven't heard back yet, but I can only think this was excluded by accident as I wasn't able for find a reference for it.
Any ideas on how I can get it installed?
Thanks again.
Ha.. Saying that you have to install that APK made this seem WAY more complicated than it is. You simply have to drop it into the App folder and reboot the device... So easy to do that I'm actually ashamed I had an issue with it. ;-)
FYI a You Tube video showed the very simple steps.
Thanks ;-)

Order and chaos on transformer help!

So I can't figure out how to get order and chaos running on my transformer. Just bought it like a week ago. Its running honeycomb 3.2 and I rooted it a few days ago using the nachoroot method. I went to gamelofts web site and downloaded order and chaos for the Xoom. I then edited my build prop. I tied a few methods to edit it. First I used adb to pull the file, edit it, then push it back. I only edited the things like model etc. I changed it to a Xoom. It didn't work. I then just used root explorer to edit it. i found the entire build prop of the xoom online and copy and pasted it as my transformers build prop and saved it. Some how the market, gamelofts website, and the game all still recognise its a transformer. I tried another version of the game and it just says "there was an error while trying to connect to the network please try again later"... If anyone could help me get this game running it would be much appreciated.

[Q] Rooting the new 8gb B&N Nook Color v1.4.2?

Hello XDA Im very new too all this flashing, rooting & custom roms. My nook color i just bought to replace my old nook color seems to be bullet proof. I have tried everything including all 3 booting techniqes. I even tried placing cwr, apk files, auto & manual nooter files and images zipped up and labeled update and placed them 1 by 1 inside the my nook folder to fool the nook to install during sleep but got nowhere. Please help xda and thank you all in advance... I am sorry if i posted this in the wrong area...newbie
Are you sure it is a NOOKcolor and not NOOK Tablet?
Re:
Well i feel silly now, just got my box out. It says welcome to your nook tablet. Well i guess i need to re-srategize my approach lol... Its the newest one i think. Out of the box with v1.4.2 and something called vividview. Its the 8gig one with 7in screen. 1024x600 resolution. 1gighz dual core processor. Not sure but i think it has 512mb ram. Also has a mic for the childrens read n record feature. Well my main intrest is still to acheiva root and sideload or install 3rd party apps. Thank you and everyones help...
It is the newest NOOK Tablet, m8.
I think you can root it but loading "stable" custom ROM is still far away.
Enjoy your newly bought NT.
Re:
I would really like too root it, i am just affraid of bricking it lol. I have sucessfully flashed my huawei ascend from cricket too cm7 bobs build from icarus. With this new nook i just need a bit of help in the right direction. I cant seem too get a solid way to start cause ive tried all 3 booting methods and when i try too sideload any .apk file i get a message (were sorry but only apps from b&n store are authorized) not exact words but with only a ok button, they have hidden even more menu options than 1.4.1, no copy & paste. I am all ears too any help in rooting this device only. Thank you and anyone else that can help point me in the right direction.
