HBO Go says that it is incompatible with my DROIDX, although I've never had a problem installing it before, what gives?

Fixed the issue. I installed and ran a market fixer by Jrummy16 which allowed me to download and install HBO Go once again ^_^

For the heck of it I tried installing an APk through astro file manager. It installed no problems.
I do have a completely stock inspire I bought yesterday.
Just thought I would make a quick mention because I kept seeing that side loading was disabled.

Just tried again and no go, app install blocked for security reasons
Don't know what to say then to he honest. I had astro on here to handle SD card stuff. Downloaded the rock player apk from the website. Installed through astro with no problem.
To make sure I wasn't going nuts, because I had rock installed through the market, I uninstalled both installed rock apps, restarted, and installed only the apk via astro. I did download the apk from my phone.
That's how it worked for me.

try a different apk besides that possibly cache or something affecting it. but I do know I cant and probaly no others can otherwise would be no reason for sideloader.
I'm on the road but ill find somebrandom apk and try it

I just downloaded pirates vs ninjas and installed via astro again. It'd working. Did you try installing the apk via astro off the SD card?

Yes, the Inspire allows sideloading.
Make sure "Unknown Sources" is checked under the Applications tab in the Settings.
Stock inspire supposebly doesn't. The stock rom doesn't have the unknown sources option. I honestly have no idea why it does on mine.
The backlfip allowed it this way. After the Aria though att locked android from installing anything but off the market.
This shouldn't work on my phone, but it does.

this dude is confused lol check unknown sources! yea well just be glad it works for ya because i dont think it does for anyone else, and yes I tried some through astro thats what i always use. Tried again after reading your post no go.

Hello all,
I am wondering why I cannot install flash on my thunderbolt. I am running BAMF... Is there any fix for this? The thunderbolt is approved by Adobe according to their website.
Thank you!
I have no problems installing flash on bamf.

You might have to uninstall it if there is a copy on there. Then reboot and reinstall. That fixes it on virus rom. So no guarantees.

I have it installed fine but it doesn't work worth a ****. I get the question mark on flash content. I'm also on das.

I don't have it installed. I cant even download it. When I click on it on the Adobe website, it says my device is unsupported. (even though my device, the thunderbolt, is on the list of supposed devices on Adobe's site).
i've watched hulu and the ncaa tournament stream on my thunderbolt...it works fine.
you know it's an app in the market right? you dont go to adobe's site..
Nevermimd, got it working. thanks for all the help and replies everyone!

EDIT: I Found a temporary solution. I uninstalled it then reinstalled it and it works for now

Not sure if it will happen to everyone who updates but when I installed the new file it worked fine up until I was going to start streaming a show then it told me Netflix was deactivated on this device. My buddy with a DX also had same error.

I'm new here. Just came from the fascinate forums. I found this one earlier today and I watch boondock saints 1+2. Works flawlessly, I'm currently on stock (rooted ) 2.3.3. I had my buddy download it on his stock 2.2 and it worked for him. So..... here it is.

there's a newer version floating around since the old one won't update.
Search for it on DroidLife that's where I got it from and it works now.
The newer version is at this link

Same here with G2X and CM7 with or without OC/UV kernel. I have followed the main Netflix thread from the beginning without seeing any successful installs for the G2X (all ROMs) or a solution for double time video/audio on any phone exhibiting this problem. Can anyone kill the chipmunks? Link to main Netflix thread below:

Here is what I did and it is working fine for me. I did it the edit prop.build way.
1. If you have Netflix installed, remove it.
2. Use Root Explorer to edit the prop.build. I changed device to "htc_vision" and manufacturer to "htc" both without the quotes, obviously.
3. Save prop.build(it will also save an origional so don't worry).
4. Reboot phone
5. Install Netflix(I googled Netflix 1.2.2. apk to find the latest)
6. When it loads, if it says you need to update, ignore that.
7. Stream and enjoy. I suggest Mystery Team if you like comedy...

I keep having issues with android market. I was previously running Infinity rom with PBJ kernel and was having the problem. When ever i used an app that was from the market (aka all of them) it would work then freeze giving me the error popup. the market has unexpectedly stopped. As well as giving me the same popup error when i just try to click on the market. I figured it i went to a new rom the problem might fix its self. I loaded the Tweakstock 1.4 with PBJ and as soon as it booted up i started getting the same error.
Anyone have any ideas to help?
Clear your market caches, fix permissions, or install a fresh market apk.

I cleared the cache and installed the apk with no avail. Still giving me the error
"The Application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
The only way i can get it to work is to go back to the old old version.
Any ideas on that?
I just flashed tweakstock and only 5 apps are showing up in my installed apps. I have restored over 100 apps with tb but they wont show up in my apps on the market.

This happens to me - I just go into Manage Applications and clear data for the Market app. When I go back into it - all is well again.
Ya,just did that and its working. Thanks for the tip.
