Anybody having problems with audio/video not in sync. Videos I record with the camcorder work fine on my PC but are not in sync on my phone. What gives? Downloaded YouTube videos and movies are the same way.

I see the same thing when streaming from the web. I just always figured it had something to do with imperfect streaming technology. Do you see the same sync problem with videos stored on your phone?
I get the same results with every type of video. Kind of annoying.

Hey xda well Skype just update and now has video chat on nexus s and a couple other phones and I was wondering if there's a way to make it think we have a nexus but I'm pretty sure it might be the same steps when people tried the Netflix app. Also I think I read its only gingerbread not sure anybody on cm7 might give it a try.? Thanks xda.

I am interested in getting this working as well. I use skype for business as well as to my brother in law in Alaska. It would be nice to use my phone instead of being tied to a less mobile laptop.
+1 so far there is no way to have a video call to a pc.. whether it is skype, gtalk, or msn
+1 comeon skype - i have dual camera's and wifi/fast3g on my g2x - i just want some video chatting to other skype folks.
When oovoo updates thier app, we'll be able to use that to video call computers.

Yahoo messenger video chat works only problem is it uses the wrong camera on the phone cant get the other camera to work
but everything else works great have to dowload the video plug in as well as the messenger from market
Well I just thought it would be cool to be able to video chat with Skype. When oovoo updates ill be using that to video chat.

There is a solution for that in the atrix thread. I am using it and I can switch between bfc and ffc.

You can change your build.prop file to make it "think" you have a nexus s....

You have to change multiple lines in the build.prop. Not just the line that shows your phone model. I used this method to get my MLB at-bat live to work on my Vibrant 4g.
My G2x isn't rooted yet, but if someone posts the build prob I can show you the lines to change.
Try:
ro.product.model=Nexus S
ro.product.manufacturer=Samsung
If that doesn't work post a build.prop file... I believe another line might need to be changed..

Is there anyway to upload a video to youtube without using wifi? Anytime my videos are over a certain size it says waiting for wifi. Is there anyway to bypass this?

Not that I am aware of but...
Do you have 4G Coverage where you are?
If so, are you on a rom that supports WiMAX/4G?
EDIT: You should also put this in the Q&A part of the forum.

Can anyone else confirm that the video attempts to load, stops, and then says failed?
The same exact thing happens to me!!! I posted this a few days ago but they moved my thread. I get an error message every time I fast forward or rewind a video. Basically once I stop a YouTube video I can't start it back unless I'm on WiFi.

suspect it is a YouTube problem, changing the proxy settings in the dialer data area doesn't really do anything.
I'm just going to use Viral YouTube pro, it works better and you can force 720p video on lte or 3g and fast forward.
same here, strange
I downloaded viral YouTube pro. Love it!

Yep that is it. The popup feature is buggy, but overall the app runs better than standard YouTube in my opinion.
