Hey guys, just a quick question. I was wondering if there's a way to port TW to the Cm7 framework?
I'm willing to put in hours to get this done but I just need to know if it is even possible?

it is theroretically possible but you could have to fix al the refrences to the sgs2 firmware. it has been ported to the i9000 andthe rest of the galaxy s family so my suggestion is to go over there and ask questions

I need help porting a rom. I'm wondering if its even possible, really. But if it is, I can't do it. I have tried numerous tutorials in the forums as well as multiple other sites, and have been working on this port for a couple days now. Don't call me crazy, but I'm trying to port a stock/rooted ics rom from the att galaxy note. I like the way it looks, and would love to have it on my device. Or at least the option to. So, my question is, would someone be willing to work with me one on one in porting this or porting it for me. I could donate when I get a job. Thanks in advance.

You can check my guide to port ROMs:

If Galaxy Note uses another CPU, it is not possible. Nexus S is ARMv7

The note is armv7 as well. I will certainly try your guide, though.

I can not for the life of me get my port to start flashing. I keep getting installation aborted with no error code. The first two times I was using cm9 rc2 as base, and the third time I used stock ICS as base. Still getting confused on the build.prop and updater-script. If you could give me more information on that or possibly do that part for me I would greatly appreciate it. I would of course do the rest myself. Thanks.

Hey guys
My friend has a galaxy fit and she wants to install ics on her phone and she asked me to do it. I am a galaxy r user and familiar with rooting and stuff. I checked out the forum but i am not sure what works best here.
So i request you if someone could direct me to the best working ICS rom here? And also to a thread that guides ms to install custom recovery on this device.
THANKS
