Installation

After installation...
Please follow the instructions below after installing and restarting the rom, or you could have problems later.
When you first launch the ROM, the screen PIN entry and lockscreen will not be 190dpi. It corrects itself after a first reboot.
- Enter PIN, finish configuration wizard
- Menu > Cyanogenmod Settings > Display > Automatic Backlight > Enable "Allow Light decrease"
- Reboot
- Menu > Wireless & Networks > WiFi Settings > (press menu) Advanced > WiFi Sleep Policy > Set to "Never"
For people who have problems with applications that are not full-screen there is a method to correct the problem ...
- Go into your applications ==> then click the application nome "Spare Parts" ==> then uncheck "Compatility Mode

Very nice. Silky smooth running so far, had to adjust the dpi to 240, nice as it is, I just couldn't get used to it, but only a personal niggle. But excellent so far. I hope to see this thread updated on a regular basis. One to watch out for,and a welcome addition.

BUGS!! Please Read!
FOR WEATHER FORCE CLOSING.......
Turn on airoplane mode (CUT ALL INTERNET TO PHONE)
Go to Menu - Settings - Applications - Manage Applications
Click "Weather Provider" and clear data
Then go to "Weather" and do the same if it lets you
Go back to homescreen and load the weather app
MAKE SURE YOU STILL HAVE NO WIFI/DATA CONNECTION
Add your city
I then pressed menu,settings and removed the animation sound??
Close weather, turn airoplane mode off/Re-enable data/wifi...
DONE!
~ If it doesnt work, try again but ensure theres is no data connection to handset.
PERSONALIZE YOUR PERSONALISE BUTTON!!!!
If you are one of the lucy ones and your personalise button does not work (button on the right of your dock), I have included LaunchKey.apk in the rom. Use this to change the button to whatever app you like, you can even use it as a seperate menu with 10+ apps!!!

You are probably going to get a lot of users thinking that your ROM is a HoneyComb-based Sense rom. Perhaps adding 'Styled' into the title of the post would be a good idea.
I personally don't have an issue with it (but I did think you were making the claim above).

Once done KILL ALL INTERNET BY DEACTIVATING DATA AND WIFI OR PUT IN AIROPLANE MODE. once you have no internet open weather and install settings/locations etc so with no data connection. Once finished turn your internet back on and should be fine.....

Cant wait until everything works well on this ROM, im running ICS rite now, but i like sense widgets and a few other sense things

I am trying to install Amazon market and MP3 apps no matter where I get the apps from they install the UK versions. Living in the US this poses a problem that it will not let me purchase music, any ideas?
My phone says its a Desire HD in the settings is there a way to change this or does it even matter.Also there was no option for English (US) only (UK), could this be a problem as well?
I love this Rom but I use Amazon almost everyday any help would be great!

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone.

PAL, First time in Android history that Per-App-Layout has been realized
This rom features a setting called Per-App-Density - PAD. It basically allows you to scale apps, make them bigger or smaller. This is a must for tablet mode since it shrinks your apps considerably, making them useless. you can even scale widgets and framework components like the navigationbar.You can define an apps native DPI with it, make it look stock, smaller or bigger than that, your decision.
All apps are depicted at DPI 182 per standard. No other rom has that feature right now
Google Play does not allow density changes and will stop working if you mess around with that. This rom fixes that problem for you 100%.
More stuff: Recents window closer to stock, fixes for overlapping elements, framework fixes, no crashes, working Phone (looks 100% like stock aswell),Sense 4 Recent Apps too etc.

is twrp even flashing it? it takes like 10 sec to flash. there is no flashing error from my end. so not sure whats happening here

My phone got extremely hot playing with this rom for only a couple of minutes. Going back to Clean Rom.

Just curious, does this have all the tweaks and jelly bean goodies that the latest version for the HTC one s have? I took a look at that ROMs post and the change logs look nice. How far caught up is this ROM in comparison to where that one is?

Little confused here. Do you have to flash a different rom then flash 1.8 over it? Or is 1.8 a rom it self?

Just downloaded and installed as described over ParanoidAndroid v1.5.
Was hanging for more than 10 minutes on the bootanmination. Now back on v1.5.
Anything wrong or is it intended to take that long?

Did you wipe cache and dalvik before flashing boot is about 2 minutes.
