High-End Games That Work With X10

X10 is one of the most powerful handsets out there. In spite of running 1.6, it handles most games very well. Can you guys list high-end games (like the ones from Gameloft and EA) that work well on the X10?
The only graphics intensive game that I have is Asphalt 5. It is a bit laggy at time, but is definitely playable.

Homerun Battle From Com2us, free version can be downloaded from the market, very addictive, I actually bought the full version and I don't do that to much, but this one is really good.

wats the diff between free n paid for home run 3d?

Ive found that a lot of the GameLoft games are only compatable with 2.1 and higher even though they are advertised as playable on the x10
Please correct me if im wrong.

I think with paid you can upgrade your player more, in free mode you can't get more than 300 goldballs which you can earn during the game. For example, the best bat cost around 3000 goldballs and it will increase your power and contact with a lot. But the free game Arcade Mode is giving you a good idea how stunning this game is, before you buy it...
Now I played for a few hundred hours and have the max upgrades, so you can hit balls further than 600...ft/mtr (i don't know from the top of my head which they use)

ya v.miserable earning of gold balls in free mode.. plsu lose in matchgame goldball n exp decreaase....i'm back to rookie. i;m playing the jap ver. cant find the eng ver in the market.

Server problem maybe.. I did download even asplat 5 is there....

Which version of Asphalt are you using? I have an old firmware, so may be that's causing the problem.
Btw, can anyone confirm that Real Football and HAWX works on the X10? I remember reading that they require Android 2.1.
Also, what is Ex Deus? Did you mean Exzeus?

Not only am I on stock SE 2.1, but I haven't even updated to the latest official version!! :-D
I have done so many modifications (JIT, fonts, my theme, lots of apps) and I have everything I want from my phone right now. I guess I "exchanged a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage"... ;-)

Rock band work very well with dual touch although sometimes it confuse when I press adjacent notes...Dungeon hunter and hero of sparta don't support dual touch because the games don't require you to jump like avatar game.

This is OT, I know, but it's really important to me to mention how amazing it is to see a girl interested in phone(s) as much as everyone else in this comunity Based on my own experience, I would say that such a girl cannot exist, but you are a living proof that I'm wrong, excellent!
And now back to topic:
I can confirm, that MT works in Skies of Glory flawlessly.

It works very nicely on MiniGore.
It is also working on Angry Birds, Jetcarstunts, Miren browser, default browser, 3D Gallery, JustPictures!, PicSay Pro.
But it isn't working on Mediascape, Opera Mini and Picasa Tool.

May I ask which sandstorm version you have used? I still get some weird texture glitch on the sructures on my x10.

nesoid is also a good app to have, games now work much better

I can't get NOVA or Sandstorm working Games files are in sdcard/gameloft/games/* folders, but both say that it needs to download more data (only audio.zip is being detected, somehow); Asphalt 5 works perfectly though.
Back on topic: DT in nesoid and Opera Mobile is working fine, can't wait to try that PSOne emu

You might have to switch d-pad to top and leave buttns at the bottom so the axis don't cross and go all wonky

gameloft games dont work on g2x?

All the gameloft games ive tried to run other than the preloaded nova demo close after the intro movie. Is the g2x not yet supported?

It seems to be hit or miss. The ones I've tried and can confirm working are Assassins Creed, Lets Golf 1, Dungeon Hunter 1, and Gangstar 2 (although runs very choppy)

Nova demo,assassins creed, and asphalt 6 from gameloft work for me

I also have the Avatar game, and it runs fine

I figured out y my games weren't working. The .apk's were for my mytouch 4g and the g2x needs its' own versions of the games optimized for tegra 2.
Kinda dumb imo because that means I have to repurchase the games, which I will not be doing because of gamelofts horrible methods of distributing there products

Currently there are Adreno, PowerVR, Tegra 2 (GeForce ULV) and MALI 400. You need Tegra 2 version to run on G2X.

A lot of the games are not compatible with Gingerbread also... Dungeon hunter 2, nova 2, S.O.... for a few anyway

nova is a bloatware, so of course gameloft is supported.

I wouldnt really call it that.Bloatware is typically factory installed apps that no one wants because there is something more popular and better. Like Navi turn. Nova is a game

i have the same setup as u man and i can tell - not a single one of the gameloft games have worked thus far! - they either freeze up right after the gameloft logo or crash after the cinematic it closes - additionally, it keeps asking me to download the data when i've already downloaded it over and over.. this is the third time im downloading the data for assassin's and it keeps asking
but end all - none are working

Love the series and 4 is the first episode with HD graphics, which woud be awesome if it didn't ran so sluggish on x10 i'm on vmcms 2.3.4 rom, anyone on different roms had a better experience?
I'll leave a recommendation, Dungeon Raid https://market.android.com/details?id=com.fireflame.dungeonraid it's an addictive "trace puzzle" (don't know how to describe it) with a fantasy rpg theme, match three or more icons of the same type trying to draw the longest line, the mechanic is used to attack monsters or defend, collect gold, potions, very easy to get into but deep. This is an excellent time killer and a great value if you enjoy this type of games.

Need for speed shift and reckless racing work very well

My experience is that zenonia 4 runs sluggish on any rom that uses a modified stock kernel. I've only had smooth experience on a rom using the cm7 fxp kernel. FXP 10* or miui dark edition based off cm7 are basically the only two running it smoothly

EA NFS Hot Pursuit and EA Real Racing 2 running perfectly. The most awesome graphics to embrace a smartphone game. Ever.
Others: Modern Combat 2, Splinter Cell, WC Cricket Fever
MIUI 2.2.3 overclocked to 1152 MHZ.

I'm playing Asplhat 5 and Rainbow Six right now.

Asphalt runs fine however Rainbow six lags a lot how do I improve it's performance? If you're gonna ask me to overclock then please tell me how do it because I don't know how to.

what you got at the Play Store (i'll never get used to this name) sale this week?
i've gone crazy, purchased Cut The Rope, Shadowgun, Quell Reflect, They Need to be Fed, World of Goo and Osmos HD there are more games and apps available for very cheap prices, don't know for how long.
Osmos - you are an amoeba-like blob that moves by ejecting it's mass and must consume other blobs that are smaller than you, as you eat you grow bigger and can assimilate bigger ones, unless they assimilate you first. The challenge is controlling your movement in a way that you don't waste your mass and there are a series of tasks you must complete. A creative and clever game with very nice presentation, it runs fine on x10 with occasional stutters but no bigger issues.
Cut the Rope - this one doesn't require much introduction, it was a huge smash on iOS and it's quite sucessful on android as well. several puzzles in which you must cut ropes in order to feed a small lizard with candy, cute and with great physic effects, adicting and well worth the cheap price.
They Need to be Fed - looks like feeding is a recurring theme with those indie games, this one is a simple yet cool 2D puzzle platformer, traverse a series of obstacles involving gravity and collect diamonds to feed a creature in the end, one of those masochistic games in which you die tons of times until you master the levels but it's nice and addicting if you're into meat boy or similar.
Quell reflect - a good surprise, it's a puzzle game where ou must guide a drop of water through a series of obstacles, flicking your finger starts the motion which can't be stopped, sounds tense but it's a relaxing game with a nice presentation. Oh, no feeding here.
World of Goo - a pretty popular game widely available on PC and Wii, gameplay fits very well with touch screens and performs fine on x10, you must guide a bunch of black blobs of goo through the scenery by creating structures, you touch a goo and swipe it to the position and connect them. the physics can be a bit unforgiving but the game is very well done.
Shadowgun I have not tested yet because it downloads a lot of stuff and I couldn't finish yet.

I guess shadowgun is too much for our old X10, it only shows the opening sequence but when it starts loading the first level the phone reboots.
will keep it for when i purchase a new phone.

edit: i've installed chainfire 3d, downloaded drivers, but no luck. I guess the game will only run on CM7 or MIUI.

Runs perfectly on Cobrato MIUI. I just reboot the phone before playing - it frees up all the RAM and kills unnecessary background tasks, and RR2 is buttery smooth.

I've been using feravolt's V12 Enhanced Edition and of all the stock roms I've tryed it's the best for games performace, there's an optional boost gpu script but even without using it there's a noticeable improvement. However, playing games will eat your battery even faster than normal.
Kairosoft's new game Dungeon Village has a lite version, it's a cool and addictive sim game as usual, but it's kind of a casual ripoff of another game called Majesty (available for both PC and Android), where you manage a fantasy town that must attract adventurers to it. Majesty can get brutal in the later levels, I have no idea how Dungeon Village will evolve but it looks much more simple.
And of course, Angry Birds Space was unleashed upon us.

With ChainFire3D u can reduce graphic quality (which increases perfomance) & other things..

With PC type I mean something better then angry birds and cardgames, more like sims, gta or w/e...
Only no action games... Got Shadowgun and find it difficult to play on phone.

Anything from gameloft is pretty good, real racing is a good racing game and i think its free. you can get the sims aswell if your into that

DeadSpace from EA won't download either. Gives me a server error.

I am also having problems with gameloft games, I have tried shasow guardian, nova and sandstorm and they all start running but after some seconds the exit to the home screen.
I also have the problem about dead space, I have bought it from market, installed it and when I run it, it says that need to download data from the server, and after that, an error 5002 comes. I have contacted the support of EA and they have not been anle to give me a solution, so I am going to get a refund.
I guess this problems are related with compatibility problems with ICS, is so new that the developers haven´t prepared their software yet, I am afraid.

Gameloft and EA games have terrible compatibility.. Backstab, nova 2 and modern combat 3 all are not compatible with my asus transformer and one s, they are only compatible with my desire z, which cannot run those games fluent at all I purchased Real racing 2 but it just gives an error when trying to run on my one s bad, bad support, never buying a gameloft or ea game again
I do enjoy dungeon village from kairosoft, but the game i most frequently play is perhaps super stickman golf, it has so many levels, its fun and its free.

Pretty much all of the games included in the android humble indie bundles are great. I actually play PSX games mostly though. FPSE is an ace PSX emulator. Draw Something's not bad, but I think everyone is bored with it by now. Wheel of Fortune is actually a cool game if you're into social games.

I was having issues with downloading the needed files to run dead space, but ever since I flashed the Zydroid rom it has allowed me to download the needed files and I get to the ea splash but it returns to the home screen right after. I also have modern combat 3, but the market won't even let me download it. They both worked fine on my G2, don't know whats up with the One s.

What's about FIFA 12? Can you guys get it to run? It lets me download the game from the market and then I download the needed data (first time you launch the app), but after this it won't start and always returns to the app drawer.
I'm running LeeDroid 2.1, can anyone confirm this problem?

I've emailed gameloft about modern combat 3 and they gave me a link to an apk that can be installed and works fine. If you have bought a gameloft game from the market which isnt compatible with the HOS I suggest mailing them

Anyone having issues with GTA III? The sound is cracklin'n'popping and the performance just plain sucks
