NINTENDO definitely makes/made the best games ever

Yep! Games work great on the tegra with n64oid. Only thing I noticed on my a7 is that the shadowing is a little funny on mario 64

Gamecube emulator

Is there a gamecube emulator?
Sent from my R800i using XDA Premium App
No, probably never on the xperia play i think.

Why not ? Who makes the emulator?

Maybe because it doesn't the hardware to run one? -_-
My laptop with 4Ghz dual core cpu and nvida graphics cant run a game cube emulator at full speed lol

I think a dreamcast emu is the last console to ever work on the xperia play and that might be a long time away.
I've been using emulators for years now and I think the general rule of thumb is that you need 10x the processing power of the original console to be able to run the games at full speed.

An emu dev once told me the average is 12x the resources for full speed. Unfortunately, this was years ago, otherwise I would post the full discussion

Yea my info of 10x was from years ago too so things could be different now but the n64 had a 93.75mhz processor so theoretically we won't really be able to have any newer consoles emulated to be playable. And I have also tried many emulators in my gaming computer and the gamecube emulator runs like crap.

sorry i meant ATI graphics not NVIDA, i get confused, im more of a console gamer its just onboard graphics too that came with the CPU chipset. either way its far more powerful that the sexplay, it can play 1st generation 360 games like bioshock, but not the GC emulator
GC emulation is underdeveloped. Last I checked, the building instructions for Dolphin took two pages...
gamecube/wii emulation on pc works quite good for me. Not all games but most games do. Just hook up a x360 controller or wii motes and use upscaling+anti-aliasing and you can get better graphics out of it then the cube/wii can themselves.

A Gamecube emulator? Lol.
The most "powerful" console you will emulate on a Xperia Play is a Nintendo 64. And with a lot of luck and work, maybe a Dreamcast, but that's far, far away from being a reality.

Tegra games.

Can anyone advice me in what are the best tegra games for this tablet?
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium
Anyone that suits your gaming needs really. They're all optumised for Tegra. Just download the Tegrazone app and take your pick. There's still not that many games available though.
Wait for shadow gun, coming out on october. Or Rip tide GP, hands down best graphics so far.

Galaxy on Fire 2 is very good and very deep. If you like Elite-type games, it's a must buy. It's also a lot of fun if you just look at it as a 3d space shooter as there are lots of different weapons available. Finally, it is very pretty too.
If you're purely looking for impressive graphics, Riptide HD is probably the best.

Hard to take a space game without even the buttons to control start and stop of the ship, let alone speed, seriously.

If you want to know what are the games which you can play on your TF, read this thread:

That seems an arbitrary choice for what you take seriously. I'm now waiting for someone to come on here and say, "I can't take a space game seriously unless I am guaranteed to die and be buried decades before my virtual space ship completes its journey between two star systems".

Our beloved tablet is not listed as compatible, if I'm not mistaken that game id from gameloft. Most, if not all gameloft games are incompatible. I started a thread to get their attention, look for it and bombard them in their websites

GBA Emulators and N64 Emulators for Infinity?

I would like to know if the infinity can run those type of emulators especially GBA for Pokemon, any answers are appreciated thank you. If it can run them do they run good on this tablet?

For GBA, Gameboid works pretty good for me, its not on the Android market. Search for it on slideme. For N64, try Mupen64plus AE which is in the market.

Sorry im a noob what is slideme and for the roms can I just get them off the internet and put them on my SD and it will be able to launch from there. Also, I don't have to be rooted in order to run these emulators right? Thanks.
Slide me is a website that offers apk's for you to download and install. They even have their own market app you can download. They have snesoid, gameboid, and n64oid all for free.

Thanx for posting these links!
I see I need to find THST tiger arcade emulator and put it on my N7.
Update: I found it along with some roms to test out. The app opens and shows the games when you search, but nothing happens when you select the games. I don't think it works on Jellybean version. Ill test out tomorrow once my 32gb Galaxy Note 10.1 arrives. That's running on ICS like infinity pad shown in video.
You have to be careful what rom you get. what game are you trying too get?

Well the app actually links you to where to get the proper roms at. I already k kW not all are Confirmed working. But I got ones like the street fighter 3rd strike like you had. The games don't do anything when selected. Even with neogeo ones. And yes I have the proper neo geo BIOS also. I think its just an android jellybean issue. The emulator app not optimized to work with it yet or my nexus 7. Its like like my Neo Geo emulator. It worked great on prime ICS. But it crashes on nexus 7 jellybean. No big deal. Hopefully developers will update soon. At least my snesdroid works perfectly..lol I haven't tried the FPse one only N7 yet. I likely won't because PS roms take up alot of space. N7 is only 16gb.
Ill try them out once m 32gb note 10.1 arrives tomorrow. Its on ICS so it should be no problems, hopefully.

for the 3rd strike rom to work you need to download the japan no cd that is 63mb and also download the 7mb rom witch i think is the asian one. but you need to have both in the same folder for it to work for some weird reason.

Download tigermame 3.0.5 from 4 shared. Do a rom folder on the root of your sd card. go to the website I put up there and get a few roms.
Also, download the neo-geo bios that is in the N section of the roms for mame. Download roms like metaslug and a few other And try it out. If anything post back here and I'll help you guys out.
