Is it possible to remove the battery from the status bar?

Using cm7 and adequate launcher you cab hide the status bar.

I use amdromedus rom for a while now. I really like it. The looks are great. I only do not like the blue icons in the status bar. I can't find a free skin on market. I only want to change the blue in white.

Tis are good options, hard to find, but aokp theme free, was the right way to find some useful skins.
