Guys I have a question that isn't Inspire 4g internal storage memory suppose to be 4gb ? Because I don't see that on my application data where it shows you the internal memory. So please someone can explain? Thanks .

Our Inspires have 4GB of internal storage from the factory. With all ATT's bloatware, internal storage out of the box is 1.1 GB. You can check how much remaining under settings-sd and phone storage, and its listed right at the bottom. I have installed over 170 apps on my stock Inspire and still have 720MB still remaining in internal storage. Hope that answers your question.

[Q] Internal storage?

I know the Sensation has 1gb user accessable storage.
What I'm wondering is will we have access to most of the 4gb on the phone when root and s-off is complete?
Does anyone know?

Is there anything that i need to do to change my microSD card?

I currently am using the 8gb microSD card that was included with my phone. I recently bought a 32gb card and I'm not sure if there's anything special I have to do. My phone is rooted, in case that matters. Anyway, i was planning on just copying the contents from the old sd card to my computer and then copying them to the new one. Is that okay? Will all my apps and stuff work the same?

Format it from the phone after you copy all the data or format it in your computer

Adb shell 2.3.4

Can I use adb shell on stock and unrooted sensation 2.3.4 to move apps from phone to sd card
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA Premium App
You can just go to settings>applications>manage applications>and then choose the ones you want and choose move to SD card. If there are a bunch that you are moving then there is an app on the market call apps 2 sd. Should work out for you.
I tried that steps but the move to sd is greyed out so I thought of using adb shell.

Why do you want Apps on your sdcard, it's way slower than your internal memory and you have a ton of internal memory.

I installed a lot of apps and games and I don't think 1gb of space is not enough so I'm asking how to move some of it to the sd card without rooting the phone since I'm a noob at android os

Yes.
pm setInstallLocation 2

Try to put your SD card into a SD reader and search through your card. Reformat it at last resort.

Many apps will use storage in /sdcard (cache and large data), use your favorite file explorer (I like ES File Explorer) to find out what happen. Alternatively you can also download "DiskUsage" to show the file usages in graphical form.
I put the ad card into a reader ans found out the problem thanks a lot!
