Hello, now I have an HTC HD7 with the lastest Mango installed (without internet sharing but with hidden wifi option). Now I found this new ROM [ROM][Update_05_Nov]ROM_HTC_HD7_FullyUnlocked_and_ISharing_Stock_5.10 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1324094&page=1) and I'd like to know if:
1) Is officially updatable (in future) with Zune without re-locking?
2) I don't have HSPL installed now, if I want to flash this new great ROM, how can I do? I have to install HSPL? Or it osn't necessary (it's a Stock ROM I think!)? But I read here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647 and if I understood right, I can't install HSPL, because I'm running Mango?!?
3) This ROM is interop-unlocking, so if I register at Microsoft App Hub, will I be able to install an infinity number of apps? Or I have however the limit of 10?
4) Is possible to connect to hidden Wi-Fi?
5) Are all the apps updatable via Marketplace?

Sorry for my English but it's not my mother language.
1. Probably No. DFT ROMs aren't updateable using zune and probably with others custom rom it will be similar.
2. Need to get an official NoDo ROM so it revert your SPL to one that it's compatible then you can use HSPL LAUNCH and Install the custom ROM.

i got the a new phone today the lenovo a660. my pc is a win7 x64.
i would like to make with the contribution from you all, a guide to root, flash, customs roms, get play store and google and other things.
what i did so far and worked
rooted the phone:
- get adb drivers for pc and install them with SUPERONECLICK http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
then
-root the phone with this script http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460&highlight=mtk
=rooted phone with super user installed
and now im a little bit loss as my Rom Manager cant install automatic ClockWorkMode,
my question ist how can i install them manually pls?
my others questions are:
if i want to have google full working how does i install now pls this rom for example http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460&highlight=mtk
and if i flash my factory rom on my lenovo will i then get google?

Playing catchuup here - when you say get drivers, do you mean the ones that come with super user one click?
Out of curiosity, why did you move away from SUOC to the many script? Did suoc not work on the A660?
What mode did you use, normal or special?

Recently I've successfully installed initial version of linux firmware on my ATV1200 using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2418029
I've used MX_LINUX_v1.00-STVMX-conversion.zip and it worked fine.
Then I wanted to upgrade to recent version with XMBC Gotham but when I tried to install an updated version by just copying it to sd card and choosing a zip file in update mode (e.g. https://www.dropbox.com/s/zb3ejt9lfj6ht27/MX_LINUX-Gotham_G02REF-05242014.zip) it just would fail with message "Install aborted".
I would really appreciate any help and/or tips.

I tried to install skype via direct apk file but wont work, android maket of this old device does not work
considering this device has WIFI but no SIM card, should be an account-based system (like using skype/hotmail accs)
so I may need the apk file link directly, and being also compatible with this old device and other Android 5.0

We have an android tablet in production (rk3288 running android 5.1). How do I install a new apk on a rooted tablet when a flash drive is inserted? We need to be able to send a flash drive to customers who need a fresh install. Any guidance or direction on how to go about this would be very appreciated.
The tablet only has access to the app and the developer settings. Hopefully if the app becomes unresponsive this will help!
