[ROM] Pays gMIUI v1.2 [A lot of fixes and stability improvements] [28/DEC/10]

First I wanted to make a complete multilanguage ROM.
I prepared a lot of stuff to organize this and it took me a lot of time.
However, most of the translators I contacted or asked questions about their status (of existing translations) were very very rude.
They began to claim that I want to blame their work.
I really don't know why they behave like that.
It seems like they feel someone will steal their toys, but I just wanted to make things easier for all..
I really can't go on with a lot of different languages when their translators act like childs. Thats why I decided to cut here and maintain the languages I speak (English + German). The Chinese translation is also available.
To keep things less worse I downloaded the latest MIUI deodexed ROM and build the complete ROM from scratch on that structure.
This has several advantages:
-People who want to use multilanguage packages for the original MIUI ROM can do this with my one, too.
-Most of the mods for the original MIUI ROM work on this one, too.
I had now some time to focus on the ROM, please see the features they are updated. I wanted to remove a lot of chinese apps because I think the stocks one are better, however some parts are really great so take a look at gMIUI.

Please read the next carefully if you want to flash:
The ext partition will be used as your internal storage for apps.
You need at least 512MB that everything runs smooth! (tested with EXT4 by me).
Don't be afraid when the first boot will take a long time. This is normal.
I recommend to do a reboot after you configured everything.

-You need a 5.xx.xx.xx radio
-Put your Desire in Recovery Mode

-Be sure that your ext partition is min 512MB
-Flash latest ROM from SD Card

Autoinstall script (txh RMK) will install all apps in sdcard/RCTeam/app.user folder.​
Option 1.
If you are coming from ANY other ROM, do this before flashing RCMix with autoinstall script.
Create a folder named RCTeam on the root of sd card, in that folder, create a subfolder named app.user.
(OPTIONAL) Use file explorer which allows you to go to data folder in your PHONE memory. You need to go to data/app folder, then select all wanted apps, copy and paste them to your newly created RCTeam/app.user folder on sd card root. I used Root Explorer, not sure if other file explorers will have same functionality.
Put all your apps you usually install after a fresh install into RCTeam/app.user
Flash ROM, sit back and enjoy autoinstall

I am not trying to hate or anything. I thank you for your free time. But when will someone make a good non sense rom? All we see is rehash of other roms. Something like cyanogenmod would be so awesome for this phone. One can only hope

found another "small" issue, maps are not installing, will make a RC2 before i go to bed.

hey, im not actually using this rom im on insertcoin but i thought i would share some base related problems to see if its replicated on this rom also as you share the same rom
firstly, news widget ONLY displays headlines, no preview of article, this is only in the widget. you should notice straight away as it makes the widget feel emppty with large gaps between articles.
secondly friend stream widget is not displaying time stamps below posts
lets see if any guys on your rom gets these issues too, thanks

seems like the same issues... need to port those proper, now its pretty dirty
anyway, i think there soon will be a proper 2.3.4 european leak, with all apps there, so there will not be any need for porting.

I been around here for awhile and i learn a couple of things, like how to mod a rom to make it faster, harder and stronger
Right Now i had a tweaked version of Ms2Ginger to be published and i named GINGERSPEED.
Like i said in this https://www.facebook.com/groups/378940478820529/, i'm right now tired of trying to get an aroma fully working with GingerSpeed (really sad about that), but i don't think to give up on this, just i'm going to publish gingerspeed v1.2 as a normal nandroid, until i found a way to get a fully work version of aroma script (i think i have to depurate updater-script). green lens if not supported by default, you will have to install greenbread mod after install this ROM.
"hardware acceleration active by default", means that every app is render by hwa, make it the overall performance more smooth and quick responsive.

Introduction
FreeRider is a personnal projet but I want to share it because I really love the spirit of all the XDA community.
So I want to made a ROM sense based, but light because I'm annoying of all this craps application. I also delete some sound, wallpapers etc..
In fact, it's a ROM with nothing, you just put what you want in it.

FAQ
Q. Where is the gallery ?
A. To reduce the size of the ROM, I replace the official HTC gallery by QuickPick.
Q. How I can change a contact picture ?
A. Open QuickPick. Choose your pictures, click on the 3 dot at the right top and select "define in" and "icon contact"
Q. Sense 6 doesn't works, I apply some stuff but nothing happened.
A. You have to install the Xposed Frameworks. Go to Xposed Installer, then "Frameworks", "install/update" and say yes when it request a reboot
Q. After update the ROM, the stuff I do with Sense 6 are not working
A. You have to launch Xposed Framework and reinstall it
Q. How to manager the ElementalX kernel ?

Tips​
Save Battery :
Use AppOps to delete some autorisation for many apps, like localisation
Open settings of Play Store and select "don't update automatically app"
Open Settings / Supply and check Sleep mode, to disable internet connexion for long period
Open Settings / Wifi and click on the 3 dots at the top right. Then "advanced" and uncheck "auto switch to data". Also in "advanced" check "Optimisation wi-fi"
Better smoothness :
Go under "developper settings" then "advanced settings" and go into "animations" and put the three speed at 0.5x (1x by default)

600 is not ultra light.. See there are many other roms, sense-bases, about 400 mb or so.

It's to have a very light ROM. I let some sense APP, as camera.

i was thinking about to make an ultra light sense rom .

This is a simple Emoji Changer with emoji styles I've gathered from around XDA (see credits) with an advanced Aroma UI installer that will auto detect your device and install the proper files,
Previews shown on selection page so you know you are picking the one you want!
This is just an initial release and in the future may be updated with more options as well as dress up the OP. I'm very busy with other projects so that may take a while, depending on the level if interest of course...
So far it is confirmed working for LG and Samsung devices. More user feedback will be needed to confirm other devices.
The backup/restore function is questionable right now. Works for some and not for others. Backup your file manually before you flash just to be safe.
Samsung - system/fonts/SamsungColorEmoji.ttf
All others - system/fonts/NotoColorEmoji.ttf
Report bug properly to get my support
Of course there are many way to properly report bugs and ALL of these ways have one thing in common, THEY ALL REQUIRE VERY DETAILED NOTES of the issue!
I'm not going to go deep into how detailed you could get because lets face it, most people that report improperly are the ones who don't read and probably are going to read this! HaHaHa...
To get support from me I only ask for some simple things
1. What device, and rom you are running
2. What is the issue (no boot, fc everywhere, fc only certain app etc...)
3. Which option did you select
4. Did you get the install log
5. Did you use the restore.zip option to get back running
6. Do other choices share the same effect
That looks like a lot, but it really is the minimum amout of info need to troubleshoot!
Provide me that and I'll do my best to fix things and make this fun for everyone.
If you post things like
"Doesn't work", "bootloop" or anyone other similar post that have no value and help development is no way, actually these kinds of post only put development behind amd slow progress die the fact that anyone who cam help has to waste their time reading it!
If these kind of post ever come up, its best to ignore the lazy person and not clog the thread with flaming replies as that too slows development!

I've been using the new Unicode emojis for months now but the only keyboard that they work with is Gboard. Has anyone modified the samsung keyboard to have the new emojis? I tried porting the Oreo keyboard over but it doesn't show them on nougat.

Actually this is not installed via Odin.
Root is needed due to the fact this changes a system file.
A custom recovery such as TWRP is recommended, but Flashfire should work as well(can't confirm about flashfire).
That would be cool if it could be done via Odin and I would be willing to make an odin package if someone knew how and could pass the method down to me?
If you have root you're good to install.
If you're not rooted, sorry, keep looking.
