Hope to see it run on my hx4700 soon !
If any developers have an iPAQ 21x come to help on my project because of this post, I would be very thankful to you, though I know the possibility will be extremely low. For your hx4700, check my reply on SourceForge.
I prefer giving out this link though there aren't anything special.
BTW is it so "breaking"? The project is already 9 months old already, though there is only one developer at all, which is me. Painful. :crying:

I've followed a couple of guides to root and it works alright, but I'm looking into installing CWM before proceeding with more complex stuff. For the moment, I've read up on how SP Flasher Tool and the USB driver is to be used with this phone, but I'm confused as to whether the scatter file can be used for this phone to pull the ROM off this device, since the configuration is different from other MT6575 variants. I've tried also a backup script that I found somewhere, but apparently it didn't work and on opening the shell script file to modify, there's no /dev/mtd/mtd0 to /dev/mtd/mtd11 devices. /dev/block/mtdblock11 also does not exist. Dead end?
That aside, there also various software bugs/problems on stock - certain apps crash due to usage of location-based APIs, and I'm not sure if its because of the stock ROM that's causing it, or just missing a package, file, or permissions error. Also mobile banking apps will crash because they can't find com.mobiex or something.
wow i hope someone helps out with this. a lot of Singaporeans will thank you guys for this.
Did you managed to deodex the files?
Just got this phone, hoping to get Samsung keyboard running on it but hit a roadblock..

According to you which feature of YU would make it a zeus of Phones ......??? Or YU Play God ???
That processor with cyanogen though. Awaiting for this device eagerly.
Yu phone is truly a great phone. The most interesting is its pricing especially which will truly make this phone much wanted one among developers who want to tinker with it in all posible ways
Secondly is the use of qualcomm 64bit processor which will truly unleash the power of faster and efficient processing with release of kernel source codes for qualcomm chipsets which again will be a companion to developers.
So the final verdict is micromax has ultimatly planned something great for developers powered by unlimited possibilities of customisation.
