Hello
Anyone know of a scoreboard widget out there that will display scores for more than one team? Specifically, I'd like a widget to display college football game scores, Top 25 preferably.
ESPN has a widget but unless I'm doing something wrong, it will only show the score for your favorite team.

ESPN's app will show all teams; it just puts yours at the top. You also need to pick the leagues you want to view.
LiveScores is another good scoreboard app.
Tried SportsTab ?

SCREENSHOT ER
Screenshot ER is a free screen capture app for all rooted devices, proven to work where nothing else does.
Easy to use and with lots of settings for capture maniacs too!
This app is a pure screen capture utility and nothing more. You get all the possible capture methods:
★ Long press on search button
★ Shortcut
★ Delay
★ Device shake
★ Visible or invisible notification icons
The root daemon is complemented by a powerful suite of options designed to increase ease of use and compatibility across a wide range of devices:
★ Interactive thumbnail preview
★ Rotate and flip images
★ Manage service with widget
★ Customize file names
★ Dynamic image override
★ Disable service when screen is off
And of course, all the usual options are there - image type, countdown timers, share menu integration, and an editable storage folder.
FREE VERSION simply restricts all delays to 6 seconds.
ROOT ACCESS is mandatory. Look at the following if you don't know what that means: http://goo.gl/bs8Zx
LOG PERMISSIONS are for feedback - you don't have to send logs if you don't want to, and if you do no private information is sent.

Wow... no trolling yet!
Works great. Thanks
Will download now, i assume there is no more need for Dropcap2 with this installed (it seems to have more features)
Would of tried it over Screenshot It but user reviews and comments strayed me away, sorry.
Your loss. You really should not listen to those idiots, they were told how to upgrade and wouldn't do it. Their loss too, because this is the best capture app on the market.
Those guys were smartasses at first, but now hey are smartasses using inferior software to prove a point... but to whom? You obviously.

Do you know if this would work on Rooted E-Ink devices?
Hmmm let me see... why don't you try it yourself for Christs sake?
Ill have to assume you did...
Loving that its free again, great idea! Thanks mate!
I did try it. It took a picture of the screen, however the shoot was in color and not gray scale as I would have liked it.
Well, that's because the overlay is in color. Have you found an app that would emulate greyscale for you?
Awesome app. I downloaded the lite version and left a comment. Then I used it to take this pic of the comment LOL! great work!

LOL nice find!
Is it just me or are all the attachments gone? I don't see any screenshots.
your connection was just lagging.
The pics are all there.
Ah, you're right, they're showing up now. Funny thing, since now I'm wifi tethered to my Galaxy, but last night I was on my normal wifi.
Damn, I've been taping on "Screen resolution" for a half hour now and it hasn't magically changed to a 720x1024...
So no one kept trying to tap even after the first few taps? Boo!
Keep tapping ....your almost there
Don't tap, just hold down on the screen!

No - there is a special special Easter egg if you keep tapping... try it!
wow...nice found shortbus..:good:
Edit: can't get pic to upload from phone
Read somewhere and found these new easter eggs in Chrome browser for android
First one, open Chrome, tap on tab button (number of tabs written in a box), now swipe up the screen 2-3 times, the page will do a flip displaying chrome icon.
Second one, open Chrome, and keep on adding tabs, till you reach 99, and one you open the 100th one, the number of tabs indicatior will change to a smiley. Smiley can be a smirk from google to display its prowess of handling upto 100+ tabs
Some screenshots of second easter egg
The jellybean easter egg is the same concept but shows a big red JB floating in the sky...

JB is interactive, after holding the big red JB for a couple seconds a bunch of little ones start flying around and you can touch and move them or fling them off screen.

Someone is looking for a Yahoo Fantasty Football app....with better UI
Okay how about an app that uses your phone's GPS to find all grocery stores in your area. From there you can type in the name of an item and it would cross reference the prices of all the surrounding stores and give you a list of all the prices. With the economy being in the crapper and money getting tight, it seems like it could be a killer app.

Google Maps + Google Shopper already do this to the best knowledge they can as stores do not show all food costs online.
since you say u r new, i suggest you to go for an idea which has already been made and put your flavor on it, once you get your hands on it, u can make something original. I like a fully functional app that uaes the proximity sensor to operate differnt functions, there is already an app, but it has flaws

Sport speaker an app that send you a push notification of your team scores, it with holo style.
For example you mark an sport, an league or one team (in the different competitions) what would you like and the app sent you a push notification with the score at the end of the match

Make a good porn app.
An animated nyan cat widget (with a mute toggle) would be nice...
Haha I was thinking in some app what make raffles. For example: many people get together at an raffle, then each person gives their numbers to participate, then your Android randomly chooses a number and sends a SMS to the winner.
You can read the numbers from a file.
Clock in notification panel
Hi, I would like to see a clock developed which would sit in the notification panel. There would be an optional icon displayed in the status bar.
I like to keep my wallpaper clean and it would be useful to drop the notification panel down and see a customizeable digital clock. It should open the alarm or calendar When tapped.
Good luck with any project undertaken.

I was just thinking of an app that help me make a reminder for bill, and it must support taking OCR of the bill details.
I know there is one in the market, but doesn't work like what I want.
It should work like the business card reader, where it knows which part is a person's name, which part is the company, which part is the address, the phone, the email, so on and so forth.
This bill app should let me "scan" the bottom part of my bill with the camera, where the payment details are (account number, amount, due date) and set a reminder for me on my google calendar.

i dont think is a hard thing to do but i think is always dependent to the app you use to play music, but is something i can see also.
The main idea of this post is to get ideas base on the needs of nowadays. Like when we are on the street, and we need that app for knowing the nearest grocery or something else wich could make our life easier. If anyone has time to think a little on what they need most, and think is missing, or an app wich they dont think is easy enought, thats mostly what i want to start building. I really liked some ideas here already stated, just 1 more week and i'm ready for building apps.
About porn apps , maybe after the serious stuff for fun lool
What about an app that shows any combination of chosen apps in tabs?
For example, you can put your favorite calendar app and your favorite task planner app in a single tabbed layout.
Or your music player and last.fm scrobbler.
Or Whatsapp, K9 Mail, and your SMS app all in a single three-tabbed meta messaging app.
Or Skype and Viber.
Etc.
It wouldn't take a lot of coding. You just need some code to frame other apps in yours, a settings screen to choose which apps you want to see, and a way to send a shortcut to your home-made app combo to your homescreen. If it's your first app it's a good idea to keep it simple.
