use multipicture live wallpaper, available on the market, sets your wallpaper perfectly every time, no cropping needed

would be cool but would also be the biggest battery killer ever.
Search the market for camera wallpaper
C-thruFone and CameraPaper Pro.. I think they both work on the Evo
A lot of the things on every phone will kill the battery, jus knowing that it can do it is nice

What he said.
They only display canvas background on my phone and don't show the whole skin. It looks exactly like when your phone is mounted and only gray/black cavas background is showing. I tried a factory reset and didn't work. Don't know what is going on.
Every skin I have tried using Beautiful Widgets has worked.
beautiful widgets works fine for me,along with the animation pack
Good here. You mean the clock is missing too?
Or just the weather?
Because if its the weather you just have to set your location.

Anyone knows the name of the folders for fancy widget or beautiful widgets where they located in SD card? I can't find neither of them. I only see texts and borders. Other widgets work just fine. I even have Optimus 2X Weather widget.
Beautiful Widgets + Animation pack working perfectly here, all skins fine
I know they work fine for others. But do you guys know where those apps installed to? Like what folders?
Kind of like this. lol
@ nraudigy2, how did you get that blue text notification? Are you using a third part text app?

It's the wifi calling app.
My beautiful widgets works fine except backgrounds don't work on any skin for me.

Only default Weather skin works. Rest of them weather skins and clock skins don't work. I can run other apps and widgets just fine, except these two widgets. Maybe Amazon messed up the Fancy Widget Pro, because I got it from there for free. I've done factory reset so many times also.
Has anyone discovered worthy backgrounds (like the defaults in ICS), or if a wallpaper rotator is compatible with ICS?
Thank you for your attention,

A little off topic but Ive been looking for an app that can set different wallpapers for portrail & landscape mode. But the only one I could find was Dual wallpaper which is a paid app on the market with bad feedback , anyone got anything else?
Any app out there that rotates live wallpapers?

I'm running ADWLauncher EX on my rooted stock. When I unlock it, it uses the background from the lock screen for that session. I think it's pretty cool, since I like the lock screen picks that come with the kindle.
So every time I try to set a wallpaper it seems to zoom in a bit and become distorted. I've tried different resolutions and nothing seems to work.
I'm coming from an iPhone so I haven't used Android in a while and wasn't sure how to get it too work. I'm using GoLauncher as well.
Is there a specific resolution I need to use or maybe a setting??
Thanks!

Thanks!! I downloaded that and after playing with it a few minutes I got it to work. It's gonna be a little bit of a learning curve coming from my fruit phone
OK so I got wizardrii to set the wallpaper. But after a few hours it defaulted back to the zoomed in wallpaper.
I using Go Launcher, could that be causing it??
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
OK, I'm pretty sure that Go Launcher was causing the issue. From what I read it hasn't been fully update for ICS. I switched to Nova Launcher and am not having any issues with my wallpaper while using Wallpaper Wizardrii.
In Cyanogenmod, what resolution do you need for the wallpaper to fit the maximum border sizes?

Well, the Skyrocket has a screen resolution of 480 x 800, so an image with those dimensions should fill up your screen background perfectly. Is this what you were asking?
Somewhat. Whenever I try and use a wallpaper it shows the landscape and portrait view borders and I can never get it to go over that. Is there a way to get around that or am I stuck with it?

In a program like MS Paint you can make a large image (any color, black would probly be best), then paste the image you want as your wallpaper in the center.
Maybe make the new image that is 1440x2400 and just paste the wallpaper dead center. Thats what I did for the tablet I used to have an it worked pretty well.
If you have an OS other than windows I'd use Gimp.
Thanks! Never thought of that. Wish there was a much lazier way lol.

There's an app called Wallpaper Wizardrii that can do what you are looking for. It has tons of scaling options.
