Hi all before I was able to download many apk's on the market. However now im not able to find these apk's anymore? Have they been removed? For instance Ti-86 (andy's) was there before now its not there anymore. I don't know what happened to these apps...? Did google remove them or is it something with my phone?
hi there,
i'm missing several apps too since i got MIUI. the ROM is really really great, but i need my mlb at bat and nytimes ; )
thanks for your help
The market might not show them because they are marked as incompatible with your phone. Download the app "market enabler" and follow the directions. You should be able to see all market apps after that.

Okay, everyone knows that the G2X comes with stock apps like EA Games, NFS Shift HD, and NOVA. Also, when accessing the Music player, the DTS option is gone.
I hope other apps can know that my phone supports THD because games like Fruit Ninja need that. If anyone can upload the missing apps that came with the phone, that would be nice to redownload them.

Have you tried themes and apps section?

CM7 is a clean Android install. No bloatware.
Actually the G2x SHOULDN'T have come with any additional packages seeing how it is stock android (I think they got in trouble).
So to answer your question, no, it doesn't come with that EXTRA stuff.... but you can add it back in manually (to each his own). I think the included sound options are supposedly better then the DTS. There is an option to enable it somewhere (but you HAVE to enable it). I think its in the Music app options.
lol DSP Manager absolutely blows away that little DTS toggle. not sure which "missing apps" you are referring to though since you didn't specify. you should know there is a thread in themes and apps that has every single stock program apk included. also the cm7 thread should have a link to gapps to install the stock google apps.
I want to get the new levels but I don't know how to update the stock one. When I download the market version, I get two apps of angry birds one stock and the market version with all of the levels. My problem with this is that my stock version is the one with all of the levels beaten and when I open the market version, I don't have anything beat.

Unfortunately, you will have to root your device to get rid of system apps. Once you do however, you can either install a new ROM that doesn't have the app preinstalled, or you can use a tool like Bloat Freezer to "freeze" the app, and possibly uninstall it. Freezing it will make it look uninstalled to you, but it will still actually be on the system - the only problem is that uninstalling some preinstalled apps can prevent updates from deploying on your device. That's why it's best to freeze instead of uninstall - but it might not matter with Angry Birds.
I had the same problem but since my phone is rooted I was able to uninstall the stock Angry Birds. I downloaded the newest version of Angry Birds but the bad thing is that it has ads.

You can use an app called root tools to block ads.
I just used titanium backup and froze the stock one.
I don't think the question was answered, and I am curious as well. Basically, it sounds like if you want the new levels, you have to DL the market app to replace the built in one as there is no way to update the preinstalled version.
This means that he would lose his progress in the pre-installed game and have to start over on the DL version (and endure ads unless rooted), correct?
Is there perhaps a file that stores the progress that could be moved over to the other version?

I have now updated the original post. to 4.0.9
Is there any way to keep it from constantly running/relaunching in the background?
I'm not ready to make it my primary music player as it still has lots of bugs... but I'd like to keep tabs on its development and try it occasionally. Also, I am low on memory on my phone and honestly don't listen to music all that often... so dedicating 20MB constantly to Google Music isn't something I'm interested in doing.
I've tried using both Autostarts and Gemini App Manager to remove all its autorun permissions but it's still persistently relaunching. Any ideas?
Hello all,
I'm sure you all know how many problems the Facebook for Android app has been having lately. I had a version that worked without any problems, that I could see anyway. My issue is that I accidentally deleted the Titanium Backup backup of it and can't remember which version it was. I'm pretty sure it was 1.9.2 but I was wondering if anyone had the apk's for versions 1.9 - 1.9.4 If anyone could upload those versions of Facebook for Android I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

You said it bro, Even I hate the Android Facebook app. its super glitchy.
I think 1.9.4 works kind of OK
Here's the link
.....
Since FB is a free app, I suppose it's technically not warez, but I'm going to play it safe and remove the link.
