Here you can post anything about your personal problems and solution you have found for them in I9003 Stock roms
Bluetooth A2DP collision with mobile AP
As you know both bluetooth and wifi uses the same frequency (ISM bands)
but in stock rom KA4 when you use mobile AP as you are listening to music via A2DP , The wireless range of bluetooth headset gets limited to approx 1 meter and when you try disconnect and reconnect it won't connect easily .
I have no Idea what the cuase of this problem is .it may be channel collison or something like this .any one had this problem ?
stock rom is working here without problems , but the rom is slow .. i compare the i9003 with my 2th device=i9000 with custom rom (simply honey) , i9000 is much better than the i9003 that come with stock froyo .

first of all make sure your device is on usb debuging mode and then make sure you installed kies(because it installs needed drivers automaticaly) and use superoneclick from the link I provided below.note that I think your problem is due to lack of your device drivers.

in my own case... it happens from time to time... once or twice a week.
the problem's that it usually hangs up when i'm sleeping (and charging my device, that could be what causes it), so the alarm won't work!!
and always after that, you have to take off the battery in order to turn on the phone again.
Good buddy, next time you can help some body with the same trouble.

As all of us know that there is no WiFi Tether/Hotspot working in any of AOSP roms due to lack of drivers, I came across a software called Barnacle Wifi Tether.
this app works absolutely fine on MIUI and CM7.
this app can be downloaded form market too. And its absolutely free.
now you can share your internet on laptop.

Please tell me which version of CM/MIUI ypu're using, and the kernel.

N I tried this app on Waleed's CM, Ganesh's CM. JP MIUI_9. I dint used any other kernel. Just the default ones. N keep all setting un changed in the app.
Note- your wifi must be switched off and internet connection must be on. Then only it will work.

Try to restart your phone and play again..
This is probably a problem with the stock ROM....plug in the headphones again...play some music...exit the player....remove the headphones before the phone goes to sleep again and try playing the music through the external speakers now. If this doesn't work restart the phone as suggested above.

Try the method as suggested by 'The-Droidster'. Play music with headphone. While playing, Unplug it. It may bring the sound back. I feel the headphone jack may be defective. When you plug a headphone, there will be switch in the jack which will switch off the speaker and when u unplug it, it shud switch back the speaker on. But some time, it may fail to do so. Take it to a Service center, they may clean the jack and the issue may be solved.
i do all your suggestion but same problem...
i think i must reprogram this...

It could be just a software bug just factory rest your mobile & everything should be fine.
Even if the above doesn't help then flash your country's firmware again it won't increase the counter & will not void the warranty.
Hope this helps.

this is a common problem with SGR, faulty hardware is reason of this.
flash stock rom and give phone in SSC they will replace 3.5mm jack and ur problem will be resolved no need to manage with workarounds like rebooting each time.

maybe will take about 2 days. depends on availability of parts in stock and rush.
are you sure it's hardware issue? cause i had this problem on stock rom that came with my phone and when i flashed it to latest austrian rom the problem was gone
He said flashing stock haven't solved his prob so its probably a hw fault. This is one of the common fault of sgr and it gets resolved by replacing headphone socket.

Hi all!
I have a problem with my LG Optimus 3D. I cannot enable the Wifi, when I tap on the wifi enable icon or try to enable in the Settings it just flashes. A note, I forgot to disable the wifi when I went to sleep, and my phone was on wifi all night, but I think this cannot be the source of the problem.
Here's what I tried so far:
- Hard reset - Wifi not working
- Factory reset - Wifi not working
- Changed the ROM - Wifi still not working (I used this ROM)
Any suggestions ?
Thanks for the answers in advance!
If the wifi is not working in any situation consider to put it back to stock, clean it up and give it to assistance to repair it.Might be a faulty WiFi module. Are you sure that you don't use a fixed IP on the phone or your router is faulty?Just asking...

Hi!
Thanks for your answer! My router is working fine, I cannot even turn on the Wifi on the phone. :/
Any more suggestions ?
Well the return to stock and assistance is still valid.Try doing an emergency recovery using update tool from LG.Maybe the new version software- the 2.3.7 version with v21e baseband version, would do something good. Cheers mate and good luck.

This is certainly not the source of the problem. I keep my WiFi always on (from advanced settings, WiFi Sleep policy: Never) which doesn't consume much batter when the phone is on standby.
did the problem occur when you flash the rom ?
in which baseband you had
for example if it was 2.2 baseband and the rom was for 2.3 it can not be flashed with clockworkmod
you should flash the kdz files for 2.3 baseband and then flash a rom with clcokworkmod
i also had problems with wifi and i did flash a 2,2 baseband ( kdz files ) and the problem was fixed
Can someone help me? I got a wifi issue also.... sometime i can't turn it on... and it drains my battery so quickly... and whenever it happens, i have to restart it in order to use the wifi... i think i have a stock rom... i don't flash another rom again since the last rom from thaiz... and there're not a big improve at all...

I had WiFi issues (and signal issues) from wrong base bands in GB. Some ROMs and kernels aren't compatible with certain base bands and you can either lose WiFi, signal or both

Buddy It is sad to see you facing problem with your device. Can you tell exactly what's your problem. What I understand from your post is whenever you remove your battery and plug it back your mobile is not turning on. You have to keep it off for 1 day before you can turn it on successfully. Is that what you are trying to say buddy?

I was using official rom not rooted one till yesterday.
I installed ICS yesterday guessing that it would solve the problem but the problem remains same & it became worst than ever before.
I am going to install the original firmware once again but I am not getting the proper link to download it. Could you please just give me the link to download ginger bread 2.3.6 for the Saudi Arabian Region?
& I think there must be a problem in boot sector. Whenever I remove the battery and plug it back to it, it takes time to turn it on at least 10 to 24 hours.
One more thing my laptop is detecting the mobile even my mobile is turn off.

I flashed a couple new JB roms after being on CM9 RC2 for a long time and now my microphone isn't working correctly. When making a phone call, I can hear the other person but they can't hear me. I've tried wiping the phone, cache and dalvik, even doing a nandroid backup didn't fix the issue. Any fixes?

I had flashed CM10.1 first, but had issues (probably because I didn't upgrade the radio) and have flashed a few different ones trying to get my mic working again, (CM10, CM9.1, Superlite JB) nothing has fixed the microphone problem. It's not just in phone calls too, if I try to do a voice search, it acts like there is signal from the microphone, but then says "please speak into the microphone" and will not do anything. I tried updating the radio to ucmc1, but that did not fix it

It only happened after I changed roms, which makes me believe that caused the issue. Also, if i have my mouth right on the mic, I can barely hear myself on the other end, so maybe it's a mic gain issue

OK I have done all the research still could not find a fix and now I'm in a terrible position n desperately need help.
I had a rooted rom and my Mic stopped working (I.e : the person on the other end cannot hear me even if I shout but of I turn my loudspeaker on they can hear me but not on the headset) I did a master reset reflashed the rom but nothing changed. On the forum somewhere it.was.mentioned to go back to stock and try I have done that aswell.
Now I am on stock 2.3.6..baseband Ucmc1, kernal 2.6.35.11, build : gingerbread uckj2.
The main problem
1. I cannot Odin because my USB port seems to have a problem on connecting to the PC it starts charging but does not get recognised (does not let me enter dload mode)
2. Since now I am on stock I do not have cwm on me obviously and cannot dload untill i use Odin which I cannot or root my phone.
3. I did try rooting from z4root, gingerbreak, framaroot, universal androot and exynos abuse but nothing seems to be working. Either the done.hangs or shows me a msg saying trying to root and starts heating up checking even after 40 mind was on the same screen.n.not rooted.
4. Only exynos abuse gave me an error saying "it seems your firmware is not exploitable at all" adding icing to the burnt cake. On further research it was explained the device does not get rooted when the kernal panics or has a bug.
I do not know what to do or how to fix it especially when i don't have cwm.
Need help..... ue asisstance is appreciated !
