FM Transmitter

Hi all.
If I have the FM Transmitter connected to the headphone jack on the phone and try to use a Bluetooth headset to make/recieve calls while driving, will this work?
I am concerned that the phone will try to output the sound to the car stereo and that the voice will be picked up by the phones built-in speaker.
Thanks for any help in advance.
If it's a standard headphone adapter, it should be fine, I was able to use my BT headset with a Himalaya connected to desktop speakers, but it might vary with devices.
Best bet is try if you already have a BT headset to connect a normal pair of headphones to it and see what happens, it certainly won't hurt it, and the fact it's speakers, headphones, or FM transmitter is irrelevant as it's just a jackplug audio output as far as the device is concerned.
I don't have the BT headset yet - Going to buy the two said items together, but hopefully it works on the XDA/K-Jam or whatever too.
Thanks for the help

[Q] Nexus S bluetooth and 3.5" jack use

Hi, I'm new here and this first post is a really weird question.
Here's the story.
I am connecting my NS to my car audio deck using the 3.5" jack to the AUX in the car. The NS will detect that a headset is connected. I am able to listen to music or internet radio from my NS in the car.
Now I pair my BT handsfree earpiece to the NS for phone calls when driving. Pairing is fine.
Here's the situation.
When a call comes in I can answer the call by pressing the button on the BT earpiece, BUT once on the call it actually uses the headset for output and mic. There is no mic, so I can only hear the caller from the car speakers, but not be able to talk to them.
I will need to actually select output to bluetooth on the NS in order for it to switch over to the actual BT earpiece and have it work properly.
So the question, is there a setting that will always have the preference for bluetooth first?
If I only have the BT handsfree connected, it will connect to the BT unit without issues.
My car audio deck does not have BT and I wouldn't want to fiddle with the phone while I'm driving (it's against the law in some places and it's dangerous).

Bluetooth microphone + wired earphones.

Dear all,
I would like to use my headphones with a bluetooth microphone or headset. I like my earphones and don't want to go through the wireless A2DP BT to listen to music, but in the same time I would like to have the possibility of a hands-free solution. So my question, is it possible to have the sound output on the earphones and the sound input on the mic of a bluetooth headset (like a clip-on on which I don't connect my earphones)
Is there anybody that can fiddle with his device if he has the proper hardware?
Thanks
i think its not possible. if i connect my phone to car, audio-output is only available via bluetooth

Smartwatch 3: hands-free calling in the car via AUX

Hello!
I would like to use the SmartWatch 3 in the car, hands-free calling. In addition I have the SmartWatch connected to the mobile phone and the mobile phone connected to the AUX port of my car-radio. Now I can hear the caller over the car-speaker, but he me not. The integrated microphone in the watch not work.
Can help my?
No one has an idea?
Times an example without a watch: If you connect the phone to the AUX output and someone calls, then you hear the voice over the car speaker, but he does not hear me. The microphone is then switched always silent. Why is that? Is that a problem with the cable?
The watch microphone has one and only function: translate your voice into commands for Google Now.
If you attach your phone to the aux port of your car stereo, depending on the phone itself, the phone mic will shut off or work as always.
In Xperia phones, the headphone jack doesn't exclude the microphone as long as it's not connected to a headset.
If I connect my Xperia Z Ultra to the Aux port of my car stereo, I can hear the caller and he can hear me if I keep the phone mic at a reasonable distance.
To keep things way better and simpler, I had a SBH20 bluetooth headset laying around, connected to the car stereo, and placed in the middle of the car.
That way I can stream music and call hands free without worrying about the position of the phone itself, cause the headset has its own mic, obviously. [emoji6]

Want to connect BT headset + BT audio adapter + BT remote at the same time. Possible?

Hi!
the radio in my car doesn't have bluetooth (BT) so I need to use a BT audio adapter that I plug in the audio jack. THis would be the first device that I want to connect with my Honor 8. Because I don't want to switch tracks over the phone display, I would like to connect a bluetooth remote too that is attached to the steering wheel. FInally I would like to use a BT headset to make/answer calls while driving.
So there would be 3 BT devices that need to be connected to my phone at the same time...
Have any of you tried this? Should / can this work?
Thanks for your thoughts!
Greetz Ric
You can do that if you use 3 different protocol.
1. BT headset-phone audio
2.Bt aux-media audio(this give music audio and dedicated music control)
3. BT remote-have to be some kind of input type.
My setup for proof of concept using BT speaker, BT headset and BT remote(in pic)
I haven't had any luck connecting to my car's Bluetooth with emui 5.1 so I wish you the best of luck bud! I'm back to the aux cord life until something gets fixed. Please keep us posted on how things work out for you.
