The 911 Widget makes it easier to dial the emergency number 911. Just place the widget in your home screen and use it everytime you find yourself in a emergency situation.

This seems like a dangerous idea.
Won't it be likely that I will accidentally dial 911?
How can I test that the app even works?
when you press on the 911 button you will have to confirm you realy want to dial. in this link https://market.android.com/details?id=droid.pr.widget911 check image 1 and image 2.
im sorry but, how hard is it to hit a total of 5 buttons? (phone, 9, 1, 1, and send!) kinda seems unnecessary to me. and how often do you dial 911?

When some one calls me and i go to reach for the phone i tend to grab it by the screen and either answer it un-wanting or shoot them to voice mail, can i disable those buttons and just use the hardware buttons to answer and hang up?

You can try TouchLockPro, with registry setting LockTouchPanelOnly = 1.

Cool thanks guys, The auto locker works nice, i love the idea of being able to disable the buttons with that first tool but it doesn't work for me :-\. Any ideas?
I can open it and tells me its already enabled and asks if i would like to disable it, but the buttons still work.
Having some issues with my Phone Canvas, hoping someone might be able to help.
[View my Signature to know/see what ROM I'm using // I guess it's the Rhodium Phone Canvas w/ Video Support]
Anyways::
1.) When I'm in a call, 80% of the time, my Keypad & End Call buttons are below my softkey bar.
---1.1) Other times, the two buttons ARE accessible, but the bottom of both is still beneath the softkey bar.
2.) I've gone to my Startup Folder, "Clicked" on the phcanvga.exe to Terminate the process, then Clicked it again to re-activate, issue still remains.
---2.2) Most of the time, it constantly Terminates the .exe // Either it's not Terminating... or honestly it's not letting me re-activate it.
Here is a screenshot, relative of what's going on [Not my screenshot]:

NOTE::
My Slide2Answer displays fine, but my Keypad & End Call buttons do what the Slide2Answer is doing in the picture above.

I can't manage to find a PERMANENT Fix or even a temporary fix to be honest, so any help at ALL would be greatly appreciated.
kids say ... application for you worthy of note in collaboration with Aquarius ..... Love Caller Hide , an application designed for those who say it has a relationship with someone who wants to hide ....... I'll explain the application:
choose a contact, the application intercepts incoming and outgoing messages and calls, and keeps them hidden ... but you just open the program and you'll find it all in, you can respond directly to messages and calls, so you will not have to worry about prying receive messages that will ruin your life;-), try it, and does not end here, the application is invisible from the menu, you must enter a code to recall particular keyboard personally chosen, otherwise it remains hidden;-) so the application is invisible to anyone .... then you like? and then you have also the direct contact in case of problems in this tread, for questions or info please ask ....
The qr for download the application

fakeee do bozoo
someone need of this application ?
Quite useful thing mate
This app cries out for a counter app, "show love caller" (I think that would be real a killer app LoL)
Here's what it is.
If you try dialing those service USSD, or USSID, don't know what it is called, you cannot press a key for reply.
Try dialing something like *xxx#, then a notification comes asking to dial either 1 for Option 1 or 2 for Option 2, and there's no possible way as to press the key.
It is not actually calling, but something you dial like when you want to check your credits.
Here's what a nokia phone gives. Its written 'Message', but its not SMS but got only by dialing as said above.

Is there any work-around or something which I can do?
It's not a bug, but yeah this is not currently possible with Windows Phone 7.
Just because of this I have to switch sim card in phone, hate alot MS cant provide this basic age old feature.
Windows mobile didn't had this prob.
Since MS, perhaps doesn't know this, is there any way to inform them or can we expect an update for this? Or is this so unused thing that nobody needs it anymore.
It will come in next updates. or you can visit official wp site and submit request feature
Does anybody know how I can access and use Android's built-in emergency information or the Personal Safety app (Pixel only I think)? MIUI seems to have removed it or suppressed it. I'm diabetic etc. and find it extremely important to have emergency contacts and information accessible from the lockscreen.
I'm not talking about the power button pressed five times for an emergency location thing!

Search SOS in the settings, you'll see it as Emergency SOS under Password & Security
