I tested this on KD1 running Bali kernel works awesome!
NOTE: Pull .apk from .zip and install using root explorer
smh...I need to learn how to make things flashable so I could port this over.

First make a backup of your dialer.apk, that is not the exact file but you get the idea. If you have root explorer, navigate to your folder where you saved the zip. Unzip the file and go into the system folder. from there, copy the dialer.apk and go back to the root. From there, go into System/app and paste it over the original file. When you press your phone button, you should now see the change.

Sorry to hear that it didnt work right. IMO I think the issue is with TW4. it seems that these little mods are not welcomed by that launcher. Im running Open Home and ADW Launcher with no such issues.

go into system/app using root explorer or equivalent and copy it to your sd card. If for some reason, you dont like the new look, just copy the original back over.
does anyone notice that the contact option is always black??? is that a glitch or that's how it is??? It looks great though nevertheless.

Weither your on KC1 or KD1 you first want to make a backup of your framework-res. Root explorer for me is the easiest, now copy the modded framework-res, and navigate to system/framework once there, make sure you click on "Mount r/w" up top, that allows you to make changes to system files. Paste the file over the current framework-res. You will see if processing then vibrate a few times and appear to be frozen. At this point the file copied over, and if it does not reboot, reboot your device. Once rebooted, you should now see the changes. Hope this helps
Let me know how it goes.
I was playing around and put this together today. Thought I would share with the community. This is not final... Updates to follow
~This contains a HoneyComb Battery Mod (accurate)
~Black status bar
~Glowing pop-up windows
~Status bar mods still being worked on.

Yea, it's definitely blue haha. I am actually pretty happy with it, it came out a lot better than I expected it to. Now what I really should do is sit down and make a truly coherent theme...but alas that takes time. Anyway, here is the battery I'm applying right now. It'll be done in a couple of minutes.

One request though, how difficult is it to change the color of the little unlock button on the aosp unlock screen? That's the unlock screen that humble uses and right now the button is green.

EDT Tweaks is still not included in KJ6 or Octane v3, so the transparent Settings.apk will have a dead EDT link inside it. I will be cleaning this up soon.
Install:
Download for Oct v2.x and Val 1.3.x http://www.sgs4g.codedgraphx.info/tehgyb/BlueTransTheme/BlueTransOctaneValhalla.zip

Download for Val Final: http://www.sgs4g.codedgraphx.info/tehgyb/BlueTransTheme/BlueTransValFinal.zip
Download the file for your version of the ROM then:
With already having Octane or Valhalla installed; Clear caches, flash the downloaded package in CwM.
If you have installation troubles, or FCs, you may need to do full wipes and do a clean install of your ROM, then flash this over it.
DO NOT INSTALL THE THEME AND THE ROM AT THE SAME INSTANCE! Always boot in between flashes or you will boot loop!
Big thanks to criskello and the devs responsible for the Galaxy Rom on the i9100
And about 10,000 other people for many different things ranging from pngs used in this theme through simply posting a guide on theming ;P
Biggest thanks EVER to Raver and Whitehawkx for making these great ROMs and allowing me to play with them =D And for help/advice along the way.
Also, thanks to everyone who has tested and/or helped debug prior to release =)
Big Big thanks to DroidMyst for hosting!!!
Extra:
Add this blue droid battery icon-
New Download links coming soon

Can you get back into recovery? My first love was valhalla, but this was built around Octane which is equally great and super fast.
I'm pretty sure this works over Valhalla though.. tehgyb had no problems, at least.
Can i add that blue battery icon on my simply simple ROM by Soma? Its running 2.3.6

I'd probably just take me 5 minutes, unless I have to mod it to run 1% increments, that might be a pain lol

Love the boot animation! Great job!
And the theme is beautiful and well done, too. My only wish would be for the dialer and the contacts to be transparent, rather than black background.
Well done!

Thank You... after the holiday I could make an update for you and change the 2 items you want.
? on the dialer. do you want the whole dialer transparent or just the upper background. Let me know..
I added a link to the transparent Dialer for you. When I have time I will add the Trans contacts.
This makes me want to switch from Octaine to Vahalla. Nice work!
Damn I like THIS IS IT FOOr VAHALLA FINAL..
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
Just curious but what is vahalla kj6? I've read so much about this ****.. I believe from what I just read my version is k13.... Anyway is this version compatible.. As well as the Valhalla black..
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
No. Look for the valhalla final thread on the dev section
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA App
Yes this will work on the valhalla black version. KJ6 is the new gingerbread kernel.
Edit: Just flashed it on valhalla black version to make sure and it works fine...
Should work on any of the new KJ builds.... I will try to check them all tomorrow and verify...

I believe he was asking if this and black were compatible with his current version of 1.3.2
My apologies if i misunderstood.

this may be a dumb question but i downloaded both this .zip and the valhalla final .zip and replaced the files that were in the system file of the theme's .zip and (the themed apps, etc.) so should i be ok to just flash the new combined .zip without getting bootloops?

Hey Racing -- thanks for the transparent dialer! If and when transparent Contacts become available, let me know. Again, great job!
-J
P.S.: I have one more small request -- in the notification screen (when you swipe down on the top bar), the label 'Galaxy S 4G' is sometimes obstructed by the 'Clear' button. My suggestion would be to just remove that label altogether, as I know what phone model I am holding in my hands

Hello,
Are you running a custom rom? If yes, reboot into CWM and choose backup and restore. Then choose backup. If on a stock rom I dont believe there is a way other than using titanium backup to save your apps. hope this helps.
Yeah I'm running Valhalla final but I'm kinda wanting to check out another ROM another thing the directions to doing a total wipe and starting over were would that be? I've rooted and installed this great ROM without ****ing my phone up yet.. I'm not a tech guru I'm a nurse.. I'm afraid if my phone was gonna get into a boot loop I would be screwed cause I wouldn't know what to do.. Thanks man..

I've got the free titanium backup do I need the paid version? And one more thing I tried the adrenalin shot and after I applied that my phone only charges to 99 I've got to power it back up to get to a 100 it's kinda strange.. I'm not gonna mess with the battery stuff cause I'm not ready for All that yet

The free version of TB works fine, but doesn't let you encrypt backups.
The 99% issue might be an issue with your battery itself.

However, restoring a backup that was taken with the 3.x version of CWM doesn't work -- it's broken on all GB kernels from bhundven (pre-Beta3) and drhonk. You have to use bhundven's Beta3 kernel for that.
