no no no, I'm not jumping, that's why I asked a question and didn't say mean things or call you names (I've been known to do that). There is a thread I just linked where people have been trying. I am a stickler for "post in the correct sections", like themes and apps. I think you're right about a few things, and I've been lightening up lately. You've done some great work that I have personally used. And I really DO hope you get it to work. Don't pull it, just move it/merge it with the other thread. I don't know how to move a thread, other than click the exclamation mark of the OP and select "breaking a rule" and in the msg box ask the mod to move it. As for BP edits, you should really read the thread I linked, we have tried everything lol, IIRC member "uncorrupted" said he was also modding the apk itself, maybe PM him and share ideas? Also, are you using the most recent xda release of the apk, modded to not ask for device checks? That one was posted in android themes and apps, and also did not work on the heroC
Yeah it's more than build.prop edits...we've tried almost every suggested idea, except ripping apart the apk itself (other than removing the device check).

Why cant you just help? a lot of new posts you are the second poster with a smart ass remark. If your not the second poster by chance, you reply the same useless garbage that the 5 previous mod wannabess just posted. every single mis posted thread, every freakin one of them. this is hilarious.. i am modifying PRLs for my area since my SID isnt on the tables...just please someone post it... its been over 30 excruciating minutes of google/ppcgeeks/xda...\

update....::::: a bit swamped all of a sudden but i did tweak out a few lines for SID 4151 (miami)... i havent tested it yet but if anyone wants it here it is... i did mod a few other SIDs (to a negative effect) so i wouldnt recommend this for anyone not in Miami nor anyone without SID 4151... be aware that changing your SID to a wrong place can be detrimental to your speeds... it can be changed in #data... and yes this thread is now abandoned..
of course, if this prl does nothing or does bad all you have to do is flash an unmodded prl and good to go././

I'm assuiming you mean on the latest gbread leak ee03?
Now, I don't think its a missing feature, but rather something about the status bar is broken. If you notice while you are in the music player app, the icon for the music player controls pops up in the status bar, but pull the bar down and its gone. And as soon as you leave the music app the icon disappears as I'm sure you're aware.
I believe its the status bar and not the app that's the problem since the same symptoms occur with the fm radio (haven't tried pandora yet)...even tho fm radio is borked lol
