Sorry for being a pleb.
How do I access the Asus unlimited online storage account that is advertised with the transformer.
Is it through an app or a website?
Thanks
I believe both.
have to sign up through the app.
IIRC if you do it through the app you get unlimited but via the website you only get 2GB unless it has changed?

Register using myCloud on your asus. If you register on a computer and come back and log into the asus...it will only give 2gb and takes a lot of emailing to asus to get it fixed. And even then they only gave me 500gb...not that I need more than that anyway.
you need to register an account from MyCloud..
the app on the TF requires a bit work though..it's a little confusing at the best..
I still prefer dropbox because I don't have a lot of files to back up on the cloud yet...

How to signup!
Didn't notice that this already exists so I created my own post here.

I found a way to signup. Now just need to figure out to get the apk.
Maybe a mod can join these two.

You can get the apk from their site I think. I got it a while ago before knowing it was for international users only. Let me see is I still have it, but it may be a tad outdated.
Link worked, but I'm unable to pay for premium service because it somehow recognizes that paypal is a US account. I'm going to have to try proxy or some other method. I'll keep you posted if I succeed.
EDIT: Tried paying through paypal with proxy and still the same problem. Tried a regular master card and it says denied right away. I think I might be stuck and SOL.
good try Supa!
i too have the apk, but didn't read my email soon enough to get it to ya. thanks Red.
Is it a one time fee or a monthly charge? Perhaps some sort of travelers check type payment.
Here's the latest apk: http://www.spotify.com/wp-content/uploads/android/0.4.04/SpotifyAndroid.apk
It's a monthly charge, but I already like it because there are albums that you have to buy on rhapsody or napster but you don't on spotify. I guess I'll just continue using it as a desktop app for now until I can figure out how to pay their monthly fees.

I cannot figure out how to register. Invitation code fails, as states, but the "Sign Up" button is for joining their mailing list to be notified when registration starts next.

Once activated they are burnt up. Its a 50 dollar gift card, only can use in a certain section and they are rentals only. The files store in a pvy format and I cant find a converter >:-( . Anyways if you need a code, email [email protected] . Give them your phone number, name, and request. They will respond and you will know whether or not you canhave a code. If yes, takes a couple days (they say 5-7 but I got mine in two) to receive your code. This is legit, I work for sprint

Hi I currently reside in the USA and spotify (because of the darned record companies) has not made its way over here yet. I heard that if someone invites your or someone based in the UK or other countries where its supported signs you up you can use the service. So being that the community here on XDA is full of surprisingly generous people I thought I would give it a whack and ask to see if anyone could help me I am willing to donate via paypal if someone truly can help! THANK YOU FOR ALL REPLIES
I tried all sorts of proxy methods already and it seems as though they blocked this method....

You need to have a Premium account to be able to stream to your phone, that costs £10 a month.

well thats fine I would like to get a free trial though to start then go from there
I'm on it I'll just fill out some random name and stuff. You can change it yourself later.
Btw, i need your email. PM it to me
I am sorry, but it won't work. Maybe it'll work at first, but the free account only allows you to listen outside the allowed countries within 14 days, after that you won't be able to listen any more. And to pay for the service you need to be in an allowed country, otherwise you won't be able to pay
Yeah, you'll just have two weeks, but that's two weeks of sweet listening
First of sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
I'm on holiday at the moment and I wont be going home for about 6 months and so far I have got about 5gb of photos. I would like to email these photos or send these photos home (other side of the world 15000 kilometers away). My hotmail lacks the capacity to send such large amounts of information, so I'm just wondering what would be the best way? I'd prefer internet based but if worst comes ill just have to send a few disks home.
Maybe another email provider will allow so much data to be sent? Or any other ideas would be welcomed.
Thanks
Edit: just noticed this should be in the Q+A section. But I dont think I can move it myself. Sorry.

There are a few things I can suggest to do this.
The first is to obviously copy everything onto a DVD and mail it. Next, you can try to use an online file hosting website. You can upload all your pics there, and tell someone at home to go download them for you. However, many of those sites have a limit on how much you can upload with a free account. Try like rapidshare, and such. The best possible way in my honest opinion is to get an online backup service. Yeah, it costs money, but they are pretty damn reliable. Check out Mozy. They have 50gb of space for 5.99$ a month. You can keep it or use it for a month, then cancel.
Good luck boss!
i've always been curious and thought i should ask to see if anyone knows. I know Dropbox and Samsung did a promotion where you activate your phone/tablet and you get 50gb of Dropbox for free for 2 years. What happens with all of that storage when 2 years is up? Do you lose all of it and everything that is in that Dropbox or are you given a less amount of storage for everything you've uploaded? Just thought of this.
You will have to pay for the extra storage or lose what you have.
well that sucks then. Thanks for the quick reply
It does suck but it will be awesome for 2 years. That might give you enough time to have friends sign up and get you extra storage.

Interesting. I signed up a second account just for this promotion.
In two years I'll just switch full-time to Google Drive, heh.

I'm pretty sure that's wrong, I recently had an old Dropbox promo expire and they don't delete your files, you just can't add anything to your Dropbox until you remove enough stuff from it to get your total file size under your new storage cap.
