htc P3700 Diamond S900 battery 1600mAh Same size as original battery - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Accessories

I bought this battery 11.4.2011.
Voltage : 3.7v
Capacity : 1600mAh
- Brand new replacement battery.
- Same size as original battery, don't need to change battery cover.
- Controller IC, control Switches, temperature Fuse protection.
Tested 1 month...seems better then original.
Better life time...
I will see how long this battery will have good condition.
You can find that battery on ebay. The seller is "good.life1314".

http://cgi.ebay.com/Brand-new-htc-P...Accessories&hash=item4156097690#ht_1873wt_905
here is the link
give us more info...
this is 78% more capacity than original one, is time life at least 30% better compared to original one?

wats the stand by hours? normal use? internet use?

I sold my Diamond because of battery lasting issue... working only hours for a smartphone can be called more a laptop cuz has the same working time (on hard usage) this phone is so good and its stock battery such a fail.. pitty. Buying a new battery is not a good economy strategy .. i mean more money added to the phone. Not too expensive but hey.. this phone is from 2008.. and it's getting 2012 is it worth?... don't know just an opinion.
P.S. Greetings, former HTC Diamond owner

i bought that battery and it has at least 1hour power more than oem

anybody try this incredible battery?

http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05.php?t_id=952&t_mode=des
Yes, me. Yesterday was PDA-XMAS for me
Bought this Battery ( just in one word: WONDERFUL ) and my external keyboard.
The only thing what i have to do now is to create a small leather pocket for the keyboard and the extra battery to fit on the throwsers
This battery can also be recharged seperately in the cradle without the XDA II.
Cheers,
Scorpion
Normally after watching movies ( 320 x 240 ) with full speaker sound the XDA Battery went down after one movie ( around 1 and a half hour ) with that battery you can watch almost the whole night
Because of that i was using the headphones earlier to save battery power - this is now obsolete.
However, this is maybe a stupid question, but does anybody know if there does exists some kind of portable solar energy recharger ? It would be good if the empty battery could be recharged during the usage of the 2nd battery without any 110/220V recharging modul. ( Even if it takes some time longer )
Cheers,
Scorpion
That sure is one expensive battery  One could probably buy 3 XDA II batteries
Scorpion...
This isn't that oversized, bulging battery that comes with a special backplate is it? I can't tell from the picture... The picture seems to imply it's the same dimensions as the standard XDA battery. Is it? Ie, will it simply pop in as a replacement, without requiring a special/new battery backplate?
-Kevin.
Poporta PDA Extended Battery (XDAII) 2600mAh
I have one simple question about this battery. Does it fit in the standard himalaya battery place under the backplate or does it add to the volume of the device? I don't want to have a enormous thing in my pocket.
Thanks !
This website sells it cheaper and said something about comes with back cover.

More news on that battery: It's probaby the same as the topic, which means it comes with a bulge on the back cover. Too good to be true as a slim 2600mAh.

ebay.com!
You still can have an original battery. Just go to ebay.com and search for "st26 battery" in "Cell Phones & PDAs". You'll find several options from $3 to $12 + shipping. I bought a couple this way and am happy now. Just look for original Celxpert or Sanyo brand (ST26B or ST26C). Don't buy cheap fakes labeled Samsung (ST26A). They cost the same but have less capacity.
In addition you can buy an external charger - it's very comfortable if you have more than one battery. And there are also high capacity batteries about twice of the original. They come with a spare cover because they won't fit in the phone with the old one. I can't say anything about this one.
Good luck and long live Tornado!
Those battery seems too cheap, do you trust them?
[QUOTE Don't buy cheap fakes labeled 2Samsung (ST6A). They cost the same but have less capacity.[/QUOTE]
thanks but before buy it (Samsung (ST6A)) and capacity is very low abut (12 hr) what solution for increase capacity Samsung ?(ST6A) . i buy it about 15$
karhoe,
I have one battery of all three types I've described. Well, the Celxpert was new and the best of all - absolutely the same as original. Sanyo was of the same manufacturing quality and capacity, although looked a bit used. 'Samsung' was made of poor quality materials, was not exactly rectangular and it is definitely not Samsung at all, just a fake.
The first two last almost 24 hours (I listen MP3s for 1 hour a day, make 5-8 calls, sometimes use Opera Mini). And the 'Samsung' one now doesn't even last 12 hours.
BTW, I use one of the latest WM6.1 Standard ROMs, they are all pretty 'hungry' for energy. When I tried WM6.1 Pro and WM6.5 they seemed to work noticeably longer.
smoma,
I don't think there's a way of considerable increase in capacity since it is a hardware problem. You can just use it until it dies, just have a spare one with you.

i really need this instruction
help me please
Bro, I am back and have read your PM
My battery is completely debranded (means that "A mobile techie did the job for me. As far as I know he shown me sanyo battery case (perfect for tornado) then he ripped off a nokia's battery cells and made a custom battery for me). My problem of battery charging is solved since I am using 1A charger from now on
NeHow, What u really need is "mAH rating of battery", Battery voltage that is required (i think its minimum 4volts and as per required (I dunno what is the ower rating of official battery and i am too lazy to google for it lol)
As my celetask shows:
Tick Count: 23:39
Main Battery 91% (charged it about 17 hours before, and I have used about an hour of wifi on that)
Voltage: 3942mV ~ 4Volts
Curent: 122mA
A battery rating of more than 1000mAH is fair for gud battery backup. As a consequence the charging time is taken as far more. Since a higher mAH battery requires a Higher mAH adapter too
i-e 1000mAH battery requires 1A current for an hour to fully charge orr vice versa
I really catn help in ripping the battery since there is some battery cells ripping is involved which that mobile techie is afraid to leak out. I asked him again after reading ur PM
P.S you can check the market out for custom made batteries on above criteria
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF DEMAGE TO YOUR PHON REGARDING THE RIPPING OF UR BATTERY

Yet another Battery Review thread

Batteries were bought from these sellers:
from hk_yuqian (1800mAH)

from emmaxie126 (1500mAH)
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250755462532&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
and the stock 1300mAH battery, one month old.
from chichitec (1800mAH Evo 4G)
http://www.htcexpress.com/batteries...-battery-sprint-verizon-incredible-droid.html
Capacities were measured down to 3.1V's (well below the point where you phone will no longer power up from the battery)
Stock battery capacity = 1099mAH
Anonymous 1500mAH = 990mAH (Only 843mAH on the second)
Anonymous 1800mAH = 1224mAH
Chichitec 1800mAH = 1386mAH
As a side note, the 1800mAH battery ordered from above had a space under the sticker to fill the battery up to the full form factor of the EVO, so a real 1800mAH battery will probably fair even better.
The discharge graph is attached
Bumping this because I cant believe you put up actual test and number and no one cares to blow this up like the 10 other threads!!.. Id love to know what the 1800 will be at in after a few charges? for 5ish bux its worth it to have an extra hour or two as long as it doesn't surprise you one day and last 2 hrs.
The fact it lasts longer than the stock battery by 20% is already rather nice for just $5.
For Archive Purpose
I will test the 1800 again in a few weeks.
However it is the 1500mAH ones that I worry about with their sporadic discharge pattern.

Have you had a chance to test the mugen 1800?
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
How did you test it? I wouldn't mind being able to test a battery I've got coming to me.
I based the design off of this instructable:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Arduino-True-Battery-Capacity-Tester-Li-IonNiMH/
The thing about the design is that you have to calibrate it yourself, just once, because the code used on the arduino wants to know the exact resistance value of your dummy load.
You can google some ways to get a more accurate reading of your load to get truer numbers.
But with the original htc battery testing at 1100mAH's of its 1300maH's after several months of use, I figured mine was accurate enough.
But accuracy aside, it is very consistant. I checked the new battery twice, and it gave the exact same results each time. So all the results are highly accurate when just compairing to each other.
Awesome results ! Any info on the Mugen 1800 ?
I think I have enough batteries at the moment, so i can't justify the Mugen 1800. It was fun testing them all though and knowing exactly which one was the best.
Even I thought those first two 1500mAH batteries gave the "15% better battery life" than stock. So it is nice to take the guess work out of it and know it was all in my head.

It would be better if you get another geniuine htc desire battery and just alternate between them because somethimes these kinds of high capacity ones are just crappy chinese fakes and some times give you less battery than the original

A friend of me is using this 2400mAh battery
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EXTENDED-HIGH...831?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27b96b6d47
This doesnt make your Desire too fat like the 3000mAh and got significantly better times than the battery you chose because the stock battery also got 1400mAh, would be "just" a extension about 400 mAh...
Disadvantage: you can't use your stock protection case (if u do) because theres also a new case for that bigger battery
that battery is utter crap. worse than the orginal imo.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HTC-35H00132-...aultDomain_3&hash=item1c1c1162c9#ht_720wt_906
I have only done one full cycle on it, but I think it is genuine. It is a tiny bit different from my original, but I think not all HTC batteries are the same.
I am using this battery http://www.dealextreme.com/p/replac...-battery-with-charger-for-htc-desire-g7-45427 of course its not 1600, it is about 1300-1400 mah but for now it last for me same as original battery which is almost 1 year old now, so not so bad to use it as spare battery when you out of juice.also you get wall charger-while one batery charging you can use your phone with another one,but don't recommend to charge it in desire-you know its made in china but for me it works ok, i am totally happy with it.so if you decided to buy not original battery, then buy and wall charger(or buy that from DX), because you dont want to explode your desire. do you? goog luck. regards
Yeah I bought that Chinese 1800amh battery too and it's terrible! I calibrated it and as you do with new batteries and it simply doesn't hold a charge. The stock battery lasts much longer when properly calibrated! I don't even think it's 1800amh. I'd suggest getting the Mugen Power battery. I got one for my old HTC Legend and it lasted ages!!! It was more expensive like between E30 - 40 but well worth it! They have a 1600amh one for the Desire, if you want a good battery that lasts, I'd strongly recommend it.

Fake, any battery above 2000 mah can't be like stock battery. Check Mugen 3200 mah. I have it. When on idle. I 'm getting 1 % down for an hr with mugen battery. Means 100 hrs standby with Edge\3G On ...
Mugen does ship battery to any part of the world at free of cost. So get it from them directly

Ok thanks ...
In fact I would buy a new battery because the one I have now started to cause problems at the charge and discharge.
Do you have any advice for me? or a replacement with more capacity without having to add a thicker shell?

Mugen 1600mah for htc desire. 200 mah more than stock (1400 mah). You will 25% more power than stock htc battery. Same size as stock battery http://www.mugen-power-batteries.co...e-htc-desire-vodafone-htc-desire-1600mah.html
if samsung do sell genuine s3 2100mah batteries for around 33$ and make profit from that, then how much is worth a piece of mugen 1600mah battery for desire?this time 44$ for mugen is like stealing from mans pocket isnt it?
any other place buy them cheaper? or similar quality thing?

It is better to buy an original or a Mugen
I got 3000 mAh battery with replacement back cover for 13£ from "Odds & Pods", but it went out of business soon after. Sure it adds some weight and about doubles the thickness but it works like a charm.
Htc desire bravo Jellybean 2000mamp battery problem
Hello I have second hand desire bravo running jellybean, the battery is 2000miliamp but after a full charge and then I turn off phone, the next morning it's down to 84%. Is there any reason for this other than maybe the battery being faulty?
Is there some software that will solve this, I had read something about the kernel of the phone having some effect on this.
As it is a get about a day out of battery.

Thats normal if youre able to get a day of usage of your battery.
I bought a 2500mAh battery on eBay. Same size as stock, but it does not last much longer (~15% longer?) than the stock battery I had. I got the device lasting longer by installing the MildWild (based on Redux2) custom ROM. This ROM gives approximately an 80% increase of battery life (almost an additional day).
