Adobe Flash - HTC Inspire 4G

Hi, I just flashed my INspire 4G phone to Gingerbeast 1.0 rom. my problem is Adobe Flash doesn't load up while in full webrowser mode like it did in stock rom. anyway to fix this?

The newest flash player has issues. Try and use a version or two older and it works fine.

I only see adobe flash 10.3 in the market. Where could I find the older version?

[Q] Htc Sense Roms vs CM7

Whenever i flash a rom running sense (any version 3.0 or 3.5) flash player never works on the internet browser, using either the stock browser or xscope pro. The video box will pop up and say no flash player in stalled but i have the latest version of adobe flash installed. When i tried out a cm7 rom everything worked fine. Between switching roms i did a full wipe.... anyone have any fixes to this? Its been every sense rom ive tried as well not just from one developer.

Something is odd then as flash works just fine on every sense rom I have used. You have the latest from the market right. Not one posted for CM based roms
yes the latest from the market is correct

Did you try dolphin browser or Firefox mobile. I use FF and Dolphin and have no issues with either. But it may be a moot point as Adobe has already stated they are not gonna support mobile devices here real soon and go with HTML5

QVOD Player for Android old version needed!

:crying:I have QVOD Player version 2.1.60 on my HP Touchpad running Cyanogenmod 9 ICS nightly 07182012. Ever since upgrading to ICS, QVOD player has problems playing videos in that they skip constantly. If I copy the video from the QVOD cache and open it in another player, it works fine. Does ANYONE have the APK for older versions of QVOD? Please help if you don't mind. Thanks so much :crying:

does the app dont work since you updated the app or since you have flashed ics? Cause when it dont work since you have flashed ics i think that the app isnt working on ics yet and older versions will also not work.

So instead of offering advice on how to fix the problem, you just suggest to quit trying. Thanks for your help.

Flash + Chrome + Jelly Bean ?

Just updated to 4.1 Jellybean and now Chrome will not display any flash content (used to on 4.0). BUT, If I use the built in 'Browser', it DOES display flash content, so obviously flash player still works.
Is this a google thing? I wouldn't have thought so, as I'd expect them to nobble it on the internal browser too, but you never know.
I can no longer download it from the play store, so I updated to .17 available from this thread, but still no dice with Chrome.
If its a Chrome/Google thing, any suggestions on an alternative browser? I tried Firefox a whilst back and it seemed bloated and slow.
Chrome does not support flash

Have you tried Dolphin Browser HD? I've read somewhere that you can do it with Dolphin Browser but you may have to do something else other than just download the app and have flash installed. Never needed it so sorry I can't help more.
Chrome in its current version does not support Flash in any Android version. I was however able to get Dolphin HD to support Flash and retain pinch zooming by using this method. Good luck.

True but have you tried it on 4.2.2? I extracted this one cause it was the best one that didn't crash.
so for me its the best version, its me passing it along not, nothing more.
I'm actually curious about this. I'm still trying to to find the best combo of browser and flash version. I'm on 4.1.2 cm10 now and the latest apk works fast with several browsers.
on 4.2.2, flash would freeze up and video would go black more often. 'tint browser' I found was the most reliable. do you find this older version works better?

After some weeks testing each with amazon video and embedded news reports, the newest version, 115.54, is working just a bit better than .12 for me.
I get less black video and fullscreen toggling is smoother.

Maybe coz your already running latest version that why it ain't updates but if you do want a the version on ere. Just extract it from a zip file it should work or what I did with flash awhile ago to use it with aosp when they was no flash for it was use app back up and restore. I backed it up from sense system file and when I flashed a aosp ROM I just installed it from a file manager so should work if it was other way round too
