[APP] gX Blacklist, incoming call filter, shush! like, and night mode. All in one! - Android Apps and Games

gX Blacklist
Incoming call filter
Want to master incoming calls ? Turn off ringing or force vibrate/ring modes for lists of phone numbers, according to the time of the day, the day of the week (and even if you are in holidays or not). Multiple lists, with priorities, advanced scheduler to set activation hours and days, and fill each list with green and black phone numbers, from your contact list, or manually. You can also use jokers in the numbers (phone areas).
NO NEED TO ROOT
For guys who does not want to root Android, this app is still working!
Shush! like app
The idea is the same, but the implementation is radically different:
Choose a "rest", with the needed duration, and your phone switch to silent/vibrate mode, and will come back to the previous mode after the duration.
A WIDGET is available to trigger Rest mode, to cancel it, or to launch a panel to choose rest duration.
Night mode
Choose the time you want to automatically switch to silent/vibrate/airplane mode, and the time in the morning to come back to the previous mode.
Each night, the mode will protects your sleeping time.

I have been using the application for a while and am loving it. Developer support is great. I had an issue when I purchased from market. The developer took the time to investigate the issue (3 weeks ) and provide a solution. I recommend the app. Using on a Tbolt.

Cant install it from the market, even by using Marketenabler, plz could someone upload the apk, thanks.

Why can't you install it? Is the market that filter the app when you search gX Blacklist? Or is it an error when you install it? I cant give you the APK: install cannot work from outside of the market: the app will block if installed directly from APK.

gX Blacklist in the french magazines
gX Blacklist is now published in the Mobiles magazine, special edition "Android Apps mania, Vol.2", with a full five stars rating!

A new Rest mode!
You can now activate Rest mode only with VOL- button!
From version 1.4.0 (please update it if needed ) and with "Basic features" activated, go into the parameters tab of the app, and check the rest mode control with VOL-.
Then, when you turn on the silent/vibrate mode with your VOL- button, you'll have a popup that will give you possibility to engage a rest (by double clicking on VOL-, follow the instructions on your screen to know how it works ).
All configuration (duration and ringing volume to restore) is done with the VOLUME buttons only. And if you don't want to engage a rest, do nothing, the popup will close itself after 3 seconds

[APP] Sorry2BLate : send automatic message when you're late

Here is my first application called Sorry2BLate available in the market (free app).
If you are late on a daily basis route or journey, usually you take your phone and call or send a message to recipients. This application take care of sending message itself. Set your checkpoints, your recipients, the repeating days and others options and it's done.
Unlike other geolocalized application, this one take care of where you're not and not where you are !
Geolocation works on GPS and/or Wifi/Cell networks.
Other options :
Advance settings to not send message when you're in advance.
User confirmation or not before sending message
Add your location on message
Non geolocalized message (to send message at a specific datetime)

Another question : No problem sending sms to contact with accents on contact's name (like stéphane (+33123456789)) with my nexus one, but sms not send and null pointer exception getSubmitPduHead(SmsMessage.java:595) with HTC desire HD so if you have any solution contact me !

Next ideas to do
Widget displaying also scheduled alarm
Sending message when arriving in checkpoints (when you're late or not)
Much easier screen to create alarm with step by step instructions displaying 1 or maximum 2 features on one screen (current screen will be available in expert mode).
If you want to test the next version feel free to email or pm me.
New version available :
See last post for new features.
A few explanations:
List active geolocation based alarm (late alarm).
A click on alarm's title open main application, click on next button to cycle through alarm.
Round bitmaps under alarm's title are checkpoints (control point defined on maps). There are green when not late, red when late, no color when undefined.
Maximum number of bitmap is 10 so only the 10 firsts are displayed.
Battery should not suffered from widget, refresh time is set to 5 hours and each time the status of a checkpoint changes (the last alarm displayed will be the alarm with last checkpoint updated).
Minor version available :
- Scheduled Alarms now appearing in Widget

Hi is it possible that USSD checker also take care of dates?
Hi,
I installed the latest version from the market.
My operator sends me a response by USSD code, with a popup where I can either answer or cancel.
Using the app does not work.
Here is what happens: I type #5580# to go to the first screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then I can type "1" as response and see the second screen with some extra information concerning my data usage. (I could also type #5580#1# to access this second screen directly)
Then on the second screen I can either type "8" to go back to the 1st screen or press cancel to stop the USSD code popup. And I get a message saying "MMI code cancelled".
Unfortunately when trying your app I get the message
"Indicators not found"
USSD: #5580#
reply: MMI code canceled
Is there any way to get this working?

[APP] Phone Notifier (remind messages and missed calls)

Hi,
I just have finished the development of (another) application that reminds repeatedly for sms/mms and missed calls.
The amazing of this application is that you can configure the sound, repeat interval, repeats count, vibration and led color.
Also, you can set the instant of the remind ends (via a max number of repeats or when the screen becomes on, the device becomes unlocked, etc)
Battery friendly
The application and the associated services are only executed when a SMS/MMS arrives or when a missed call is detected, and are destroyed when the notification ends.
Only when you have a missed call and/or unread message are resident in memory.
Permissions
In order to implement these features, I need to use the next permissions:
- Boot completed: To start the notifications when the phone boot ends, if the case
- Vibrate: For make effective the vibration, if configured
- Receive SMS/MMS: For receive a event, and start the service just when a SMS/MMS is received
- Read SMS: For access to the SMS/MMS database (in order to test for unread messages)
- Read Phone State: For receive a event when a incoming call ends (in order to start the service, if is a missed call)
- Read Contacts: Needed to access to the CallsLog (in order to test for missed calls)
- Wake lock: Needed to set the screen on (if configured)

I like three states: 0% , 50% , 100% just like the default power settings widget. Maybe adding a fourth state: 25% would also be useful.
Thanks for this nice app.

Can you tell me what kind of error you have: did your airplane mode switched on but the widget did not update itself? or the airplane mode did not turned on at all?
And for the other switches, are they working correctly?
What is your phone and your version?
Thanks for your feedback!

GPS is now available for all users / all devices, but because of Google security restrictions on many devices, the switch could bring to the location settings page instead of directly switching GPS state. I'm still searching for safe ways to do the job on more devices.
Since a skin engine code full rewrite last month, widget are much more faster than before
New skin screenshot, for Go Launcher and HTC Sense fans
Go and Sense like skins for gX Switches, available in the base app now!
gX Switches is coming back
After one long year sleeping, gX Switches will start again moving on:
- An extension is ready to go out: LABS for gX Switches: you can ask to become a beta tester here: https://plus.google.com/communities/112952095112663603667
- New skins are available: Black & Glossy, Pink & Girlish, and the latest one: Halloween
- Locale plugin support: gX Switches can use Locale plugins to extends its own functions!
- Custom icons: you can use icon packs (ADW compatible) or your local images / photos to override switches icons.
- Secured settings for latest versions of Android (Airplane mode for example) requires Secure Settings to work. gX Switches can now call Secure Settings directly to control secured parameters. Secure Settings is also a Locale plugin, so you can control everything it can do.
More will come soon! :fingers-crossed:

[APP][2.3+] iPulse (connection manager)

Hi guys!
here my first android app mainly born for personal usage and, now, considered "mature" enough for the brave members of this community
iPulse is an application that let you pulse the data connection (and WiFi in the pro version) depending on several configurable events.
Extremely useful to awake services that needs internet connection (e.g. push mail) without necessity to keep it always on, thus reducing greatly the battery usage.
iPulse can ignore the connection status, operate in manual mode for connection always on, connection always off (as a standard connection on/off manager) or in a totally automatic mode, driven by events. The different operating modes can be switched using widgets and/or commands in the notification area (Android >= 4.1).
The configurable events that can activate the data connection (and WiFi in pro version) in automatic mode are:
Timer (frequency, duration, and daily range)
Screen on and unlocked (with optional delayed timeout)
Battery charge (AC or USB)
The configurable events that can deactivate the data connection (and WiFi in pro version) are:
Expire of scheduled timer
Screen off (with optional delayed timeout and list of foreground apps)
Low battery signal (ignored when battery is in charge)
iPulse works on any Android device version starting from 2.3 (Gingerbread) and doesn't requires device ROOT. It is available in English and Italian. The free version is without any ads, the pro/donate version has more widgets and the possibility to handle also the WiFi/Tethering connections.
Notes:
There is an online manual that describes all the features (you can find it here as well: http://www.thinksoft.it/android/iPulse/manual/ipulse-user-manual.htm).
Since dual SIM support is not standard in Android, it could be that iPulse won't work properly on dual SIM devices.
The first time you install it don’t forget to run the app and accept the EULA to properly configure and enable it.
I would like to hear your comments and suggestions, please post them here or send them to "ipulse AT thinksoft.it"

Have a nice day!
Going to give this a try while at work. My signal there is spotty at best. Over a 9 hour shift it takes a toll on the battery. I have Automate It turn data off once work starts but I miss emails throughout the day unless I toggle manually.
Tomorrow I'll give this a shot and see if this helps. If so I'll buy your pro even though I have no need for the advanced options.
If you have weak signal I suggest you to raise the data connection timeout, try at least 180 seconds, you can even go up, that is the maximum time to wait for a successful connection.

Hi Martinhdk,
iPulse doesn't directly interact with apps (doesn't stop them), it controls the activation of the connection depending on events programmed (timer, screen, power), app that are "connection aware" (most of them) will connect and download automatically as soon as they will see the connection active.
Give a try to the free version it's full featured (except that doesn't manage the WiFi connection) and has no ads at all.
For any other question feel free to ask, I'll be glad to try to help you!
Best regards,
Marco

Updated Android support library

Best regards,
Marco
