Yeah, i know its pre-installed on the Tab, but on their list of compatable devices, its not listed and me, bing the sily fool i am, decided to delve in and buy The Hangover only to find i cant download a Tab version.
Strange thing is, it recognises the movie needs to be for the Tab but it doesnt download.
Anyone got any news on this?

are you talking about MediaHub? It works for me.
Samsung Movies app. It takes you to their website where you can buy movies.

I posted it here a few minutes ago:

How do you install this apk? I get a failure when I try to install it on my 3.1 non-rooted wifi Xoom.
Until that APK is deodexed and reuploaded, don't expect it to work outside the specific device it was made for.
is this the movie rental app? Because I don't seem to have it either after upgrading to 3.1?
Wifi only Xoom will not have Google Videos for now and will be "coming in near future" according to Motorola

Has anyone tried installing the apk manually and test it out? I'm not at home otherwise I would. Works on my evo though. The apk has been posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13730375&postcount=19

The application installs and starts but no movies can be played. Not sure which features DO work. It looks awesome though!
Just tried it and it works. Open my queue and played a movie. Finally...
Gets further than any other netflix release but just a black screen when playing. I'm sure it's not far off. DX liberty. 5

Well, I'm sure tegra2 devices won't be too far behind. All of the devices that are supported have similar processors. The tegra2 is much better, but different. I'm sure netflix is just making sure that there is a quality user experience before releasing it.

It plays on the TF101? Strange. It told me it's not compatible with my device... Maybe it's the firewall at work that keeps messing it up? But others also reported it's only a black screen. Why the differences? I'm rooted and running PRIME! 1.2
Who if the author? I'm looking through the market and i see netflix but they don't seem real... Where is the official application

Only way is to PM a mod and ask to delete the thread Did you find the d/l link?
Bone stock and getting the same device support error. Hard coding of device list in the app maybe?

Any PM coming across this please delete it.

The way I understand is this is a hardware issue. When they initially announced it for Android, they claimed to only be working with Qualcomm in order to prevent piracy of content. I haven't checked to see if they've expanded beyond that just yet though...so this could be entirely invalid and be a mere software thing
If this is the same app that was leaked off an LG phone a couple of monts ago, the problem is DRM. The app i looking for a DRM file that's not located on the device.
