For the life of me where do you registered??? I am login and i cant find that page. Mines is showing 2GB.....
I only got 2gb as well, hm
All I did was click on the My Cloud in the Apps drawer and setup a new account. When I was logged in it showed unlimited capacity.
Guess we need to email ASUS WebStorage customer service with our Transformer's S/N, so they can give us some code or upgrade it for us.

my bad. I thought I corrected my mistake.
Hmmm...
I am unable to register on my TF - regardless of username and password combination.
All it states is "Invalid email, password or username" - which is funny because I only have 2 fields to fill in (username + password). I tried different usernames, from email to normal username containing only ascii-characters and simple passwords to very complex passwords.
Is there something obvious I am missing?
edit1: ARGH - all this time I failed to scroll the fields because I only folded the keyboard. So there are three fields - however, it still complain with password-account name and password not being valid for a complex password.
edit2: Yup, passwords are not allowed to be complex - grrrrrr.
edit3:
Capacity: Unlimited
Expire date: May 16, 2012
So, registering from the TF worked for me.
got unlimited capacity
expires: may 8, 2012.
what do ppl store in these storage space anyway? almost everything can be streamed.

I could only register after I used only letters and numbers in my password. It wouldn't accept any other symbols or special characters.
Asus is pissing me off
I've emailed them several times already about this. I also got only 2GB. Even tried redoing several times when Asus responded back for me to do it again. I know how to register with my asus through mycloud but it's not giving me unlimited.
I don't know why the hell they keep on telling me to try again. I thought they did something on their end to allow it to work but it's not. I swear I'm going to go postal if they tell me to do it again and it doesn't work. Takes them a few days to respond.

I transfer files through DropBox (similar service) - this can be APK files that I develop on my own, or bobs and bits that I download - I shift between DropBox and SMB share depending on what I am doing. I do not use the USB connection at all, only for charging purposes. It is only youtube, tv & films I stream - for everything else I just the previous mentioned methods.
I am not likely to ever use ASUS web-storage, because their Linux support does not seem to be present, but I was curious just to get it to work anyway.
Exploration is one of the reasons I have the TF in the first place

Let me make this more clear for you.... I recently downloaded the palringo app....that comes from palringo....I got a message from my server that says an ip address in the UK has been searching through my accounts. So I tracked them down, and it went straight to palringo. The application stole my account info
@nikko1000
Actually your explanation isn't very clear.

- ok maybe you don't get this...
1. I downloaded palringo on my android phone
2. I got a message saying that i can't log in on the app
3. I went online, and i got a message from my email, saying that there is suspicious activity on several accounts, coming from 1 ip address
4. I looked up the IP address, it went straight to palringo
5. I posted this up, and complained multiple times, and looked up other people having the same problem.

You said you were able to check your email - so does this mean your IM accounts that palringo uses are still working?
You didn't answer most of my questions, but nevermind...
Why is it so weird and suspicious to you, that there were connections from Palringo IP, if this is exactly what Palringo should do?

Yeah, but this is how Palringo works - it connects to services from Palringo servers. So if e.g. someone guessed your Palringo password, then he got access to all your connected accounts and all connections were from Palringo IP.
I mean: that may not be a guy from Palringo, but anyone who got access to your Palringo account.
this is not a random person, my password is practically un-guessable.... its a 20 letter code.... example : XAO352Fs3934HOe93kdj..... and who would have access to my account? i don't share my password, or my cellphone

1. WHICH Account? Do you mean just your palringo account, or all the IM accounts you are using with it?
Here is my guess of what's happened.
You installed Palringo on your Android device, started up and everything looks normal.
Now ONE (or maybe more?) or your IM accounts is indicating there was some weird activity.
You went to whatever IM account and noticed a bunch of connections from the palringo servers. (This is OK and actually not a problem - as that's how the palringo service works)
Thus - your handheld is probably logging you out and logging you in again over and over - which causes your IM service to think there is a problem when there is not. Either your 3G is going off or your wifi is going off - prolly when you put your phone in standby.

Good question. It *does* sound like you hacked somehow - but I seriously doubt that anyone at palringo had anything to do with it.
Either someone got your palringo username/password and then changed your passwords to gmail and facebook via that (if you even can) - or you were hacked some other way.
I would take a close look at your home computer (or any other machines you've used lately) and make sure you have no virus / trogans / mailware etc on those because odds are that's actually where the hack happened.
Have you had any luck recovering your facebook and gmail accounts? What a bummer I know how bad that sucks.
So, IP addresses usually point to ISP s... How did you track and identify this organization or individual?

So I have a few throwaway Gmail accounts and can't remember which one I used to sign up for Amazon Marketplace on my Android device. From within the app it will only tell me my name, not the email address that was used.
I can back the marketplace up with TB and restore after a full wipe and the credentials are also restored so I was wondering if anyone is aware of any way I can use sqlite to recover the user name or email address.
I can see the locker DB contents but it doesn't seem apparent where the credentials are stored, at least not to me.
Any help out there?
That's a lot of effort. Go to the Amazon.com web-page. Go to 'Sign In'. Then press on 'Forgot my password'. Keep entering your email addresses until it accepts one of them - bingo
Good plan except the computer that had my throw away Gmail addresses cached died and I have no other record of them. If I can't find the email address I'm stuffed. If I can then I will be sweet because I used the same password on all my throw away email accounts.
See my dilemma?
Sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk 2
I'd suggest contacting Amazon and explaining your problem to them. With enough of your other personal details they should be able to supply to email address you used simply enough.

XDA gets very suspicious when someone new signs up to the forum and their first question is about something that could easily be used to obtain hidden information that you shouldn't do.
How do we know that you are not trying to access someone else's email password without their permission?
If this is, truly, for your own work email then just ask the IT department to reset your password - but it is highly doubtful you have really forgotten your work password and sounds dodgy.
I had a similar problem as well. My email password could not be changed, there was no way to recover the password through the provider, and the workaround would have been to wait a few months for the account to be deleted and then reregister. Thankfully, I found the solution with a little googling.
Browse to /data/user/0/com.android.email/databases and copy EmailProvider.db to your computer. Other phones might have their database in a different location. Download and install Sqlite Database Browser from sourceforge.net if you haven't, and then skip down to the sqlitebrowser instructions here:
http://ubuntu42.blogspot.com/2011/11/android-recover-mail-password.html
Decrypt the password
On samsung phones, the passwords in /data/user/0/com.android.email/databases/EmailProvider.db are encrypted. You will need to use the 'samsung-password' decryption tool: lovasoa.github.io/samsung-email-password-decrypt/

Somebody must of changed the public account password as it says it is not correct. This is ridiculous that I can't enable a service without a password. Anyone else having this problem?
I sent a message via Facebook and they fixed it. That was fast.
Make your own account. I think using a public account is not safe. I was able to make my own account using a SMS verification service online (https://onlinesim.ru/en). You'll have to buy "credits" (i purchased 51 credits for a buck or so) to use a china based number (i used the "telegram" verification option and had a verification number pretty quick). Once you get an account bind your personal email and set up a password. Hope this was helpful.
