Well i love this rom, and i thought id share my rom edit with u guys
What's in the package:
Froyo AOSP FRG83 & CyanogenMod Framework/Packages
Kernel 2.6.35 OCUV (Big thanks to Kali- and deovferreira)
CFQ scheduler, JAMT 2.2.0 Flat White Theme, Custom Bootscreen, Custom HTC_IME Modded Keyboard, Themed Marked(Themed to match the roms theme), White Hinted LockScreen from JAMT 2.2.0 Theme from ClassicalGas.

* OTA update/mod/kernel flash tool (DeFroST Setup)
* Themed Marked (Themed to fit the Rom theme)

- Requirements:
* Rooted HTC Desire GSM
* Amon_Ra or Clockworksmod Recovery
* Full Wipe/Data factory reset/dalvic cache wipe and so on
- Install:
* Install this Rom just as any other rom, Wipe all then flash zip from sdcard
* After the first install, do the setup and then reboot and then try the music 3.0! if it does not work do this!
1. move app to sdcard, move back, reboot.
- Recommended after install:
* Go to apps and open Defrost setup and install a new kernel, i am using: 6.1se SVS + CFS 1190mhz NOT stable on all phones!
* Go to apps and open spare parts then go to windows animation, choose slow, transition animation: slow and fancy input animation checked!
* Install SetCPU
- Note:

Hi, this particular lockscreen is not possible for u to get on leedroid. but i do recommend "Widgetlocker" from marked, and go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825553

Off topic-warning... maybe rude of me to ask, but, when i tap powerbutton to lock the screen, and then unlock it, i first see the standard lockscreen for like 1-2 seconds until widgetlockers lockscreen comes. any idea how to fix this?

Marked has been fixed, read the enw notes
anyway, click home button, and chooose widgetlocker as standard homescreen thing and it will be alittle faster

thats wierd, everyone else seem to have it... u have to do a 100% wipe before install, so dalvic cache, factory reset and so on

For me it would be perfect if you could make a gingerbread theme with green icons (for battery, wifi and so on) and a honeycomb theme with blue icons.

very strange! in this rom the calendar I have not touched, I left the default: blurcalendar.apk / blurcalendarprovider.apk.....
you can prove it to add the calendar and calendarprovider aosp 2.2.1 ( without deleting the default ones) >>> here

because on rootexplorer, when you open it, at top right corner of the display, you put "R/O", you modify the system added new apps, repair permission, and reboot!

++ When you enter on first time, on market,have force close. no problem! close and restart the market, because at 2nd time work the new market, put in data/app!

pretty nice ROM you got there...the GO team has been churning out pretty cool stuffs, and it's nice to see someone appreciating it instead of using launcher pro all the time

If I could change these icons easily, i will give this a try.

its simple:
click on first touch on the left of display, then click "preferences" and you enter in settings about go.launhcer.ex, click on change theme....and you decide what theme you like, or click on default theme!!

Nice battery meter, nice Go apps. Would love to see them in my language.
While many people try to port the Arc launcher, this launcher do the job 10x better.
This ROM really surprised me, only have to remove some apps to free memory =)
*** There's only one thing worrying me: when the screen is locked, it tooks some time to go back, even when i click the power button 2-3 times. Do you know how to solve this?

To remove some apps i just have to remove them frmo /system/app ? (facebook, busybox installer, camera 360, car home, task manager (stock), gtalk, milestone overclock (i use only setvsel), tasks (i use astrid))

when you have flash this rom, after you can flash the fin deblur 2.2.1, and uk 3.4.311 without problems! this i try me personal, with oter rom i dont know! sure i dont come back at eclair rom!

Is there a way to change the animations?
The original animation is cool, but it's a little tiresome after some hours playing with the phone.

yes, you can change the folder anim , in the framework-res.apk, drawable, use 7zip
or flash another theme if for you its most simple!

Hmm I still really like this rom and I want to keep using it but the camcorder seems to have become dysfunctional...the camera also wasn't working but I was able to fix it by force closing it and then clearing data.....this didn't fix the camcorder tho
..as soon as I click the camcorder app or launch from camera the screen turns black.

My camera is ok, take 12 photos today with this rom, and recorded 2 videos of 1min~

I got this too, sorted after default recovery wipe.

Sorry I was able to fix my camera problem, turns out it was due to flashing the 720p update zip from somewhere in this dev forum. I fixed it by flashing the system file of the Cee Go Nandroid. Yay
In other news... I am fully able to download and install apps from the market using this rom... Looks as if the shoe is on the other foot.
Maybe something you guys did besides installing this rom?

i am having problems trying to flash the motorola defy. before i flash it with the rsdlite and the official rom i first rooted the phone with superoneclick. then i tried to flash with rsdlite and it seems that it can't be flashed with the following error ''unable to retrive initialization values from INI file. (0x7029); phone connected'' can anyone help me on this?? does anyone knows anything about this?? i want to flash any rom that includes Greek language.

Installation:
-Flashed Stock XXKPQ ROM
-Flashed universal CFROOT by Amit and UC7 kernel by Doomlord
-Deodexed ROM
-copied ChippyROM.V2.XXKPQ.zip to SDCARD
-using CWM recovery installed zip file
-last image is the bootlogo that i made. You can download from here. To install, you need to place this image in the folder /mnt/.lfs/ as logo.jpg with RootExplorer or any other root file manager
Recommended apps:
Apart from apps included in ROM I recommend following apps
1. Root Explorer(absolutely essential)
2. Quickpic (better than stock viewer)
3. OperaMini(faster browser)
4. Moboplayer(excellent video player)
5. HaxorScreenFilter (control brightness)
6. SMSBackup (backup SMS to your gmail account)

Be patient!! Is better to have a well done rom later than having a lot of incomplete bugfull roms!

can you give us, more info to the rom? like a firmware base, ext4, apps...i don't know, whatever that's important

ok ok friends.
I am bit occupied with office work hence the delay. Uploading my WIP version for you to play around. Most probably i will be able to work on it during week end and by Monday i should be able to post the final version. Really sorry for the delay but hope you understand. I tested the rom. Everything looks very good. I dont like the keyboard but i changed it. There is not any problem. Wifi bt and everything is fully working. I only see a problem: the rom is a bit laggy. It is not as smooth as others and you can find this when you change app screens or desktop screens. I had a 2700 score in antutu that is not so much but is ok. The theme is awesome. I like it too much. Hope my intervention is helpful. Congratulations chip

You must have cwn on your mobile phone to install thir ROM
Instructions:
1- Do all backups (contact, messages, etc..)
2- Turn off phone
3- Turn phone on by pressing the VOL+ button with the energy button at the same time.
4- Recovery Clockwork main menu and select wipe data/factory reset
5- Select Install zip from sdcard
6- Select the first choice and search for getuk 2.2.zip on your sd card
7- Reboot system

This is a FANTASTIC ROM for this device. Great combination of features, battery life, stability and speed. Very impressed .. Great work and Thanks.

Hi great rom, all working good here except the mms...have done all the apn settings for my provider which is Optus Australia... but cant send or receive MMS messages. I have been working on a rom myself till i got sick but really like what you have done with this one and would like to try and get mms working.

Transfer apps/settings
I've been running a different version of CM7 (Kang) but want to try this one. Is there a way to backup my settings/apps so I can easily transfer them to this version or will I have to re-do everything over again?
I see the first step in your instructions say

Just installed 2.2.3 only problem I have is cant connect to wifi or mms same as Rockdev.
I'm with O2 and apn has been checked and redone but no success.
Has anyone got either or both working if so then how please.

i just installed it.
Pansi SMS is installed but it could not receive SMS because is could not work without default messaging app . please fix this problem.

Great ROM!
I've been using it for more than 8 months and I get awesome battery life - 10 days standby. The phone is only a backup while roaming, so it's mostly unused, but still impressive.

First of all sorry for the graveyard running but a friend of mine has a U8510 dinossaur and asked me if i could do anyhting with it...
Wanted to try this rom from Getuk but there's no pics nor the download link is active anymore...
Does anyone have the ROM and pics for it? :angel::angel:

How was everyone able to install this ROM? I'm having serious trouble trying to root and starting to believe its impossible. Can anyone help?
