Code:

Code:
tune2fs -l /dev/block/stl9

The tune2fs command doesn't work on my phone, it just reports the correct usage (which apparently only has one option, -L label...)

the -l flag was deprecated, on most versions, especially the ones included in busybox... which is what you more than likely have on your phone

Ah. Honestly that one I dont know about. I know that others have made scripts that run at boot and they always go into ect/init.d folder but I do not know if that would work in your case. Some of the XDA vets will chime in here in a bit and should be able to say if its possible and if so how.

UPDATE:
There was a big in CWM that caused the date to change a good portion of the time randomly to the next day, causing the script not to be able to find the backup, and in some cases not finish the backup. I have fixed that, also in EG22 odexed the /system partition is too full to do a proper conversion so now the script removes the following packages:
Code:
package:/system/app/Launcher2.apk=com.android.launcher

package:/system/app/MediaHubV126.apk=com.sdgtl.mediahub.spr

Is what the title implies.. if you are running rfs flash the rfs2ext4.zip, it does a nandroid backup, converts to ext4, restores nandroid, clears dalvik, tombstones, and lost+found... then fixes permissions.

No, this is for converting your filesystem from rfs to ext4 or vice-versa. If the ROM doesn't support ext4, this won't help you.

one instance where it will come in handy though.. is when you are on ext4 and want to flash an RFS only rom.. (like Gingerbread) you can flash this, instead of ODINing back to stock, then flash the new ROM

Chris... You might want to change the script for the rfstoext4 and change it to say please flash a rom instead of please reboot... That might confuse people....
Other than that it works great.. Nice job.
So if I'm on EXT4... flash .zip, then install RFS rom before reboot?
Thanks for answering my stupid question. I mess everything up, so I just wanted to double check.

I would say to reflash, then let it sit for 5-10 minutes before you start "pounding" on it, lol. Usually if it has a chance to sit and properly build its cache, these issues go away. Again.....USUALLY, lol.

You will need to partition it first. You will lose all data on your SDcard so make sure you have your card backed up.
1. Go into recovery and partition your card.
2. Open up Link2SD and it will ask what type of partition it is ( I believe it is ext3, I could be wrong though )
3. Select the partition type then it will create the script.
4. Reboot phone and open up Link2SD and set it up as you would like.

try installing busybox, this should take care of the apps disappearing. it that doesn't work just clear both caches and then you should be good to go. make sure lind2sd is set to ext4 as your sd card should be formatted to this with the latest roms if i am not mistaken.
I wiped my davlik and cache and swapped out my SD cards a few times now all of the sudden the gallery wont display anything on the sdcard. I just remounted my system as read/write from the terminal, copied the Gallery3D.apk to my sdcard, removed the local apk, then reinstalled. Problem solved. Thanks
