Hi all,
I'm looking for a battery mod (framework mod) for the actual JQ1 gingerbread rom (stock...not deodexed!, but I think it's the same after you delete the related .odex file) ...seems i'm not able to find one ... only thing I found is the blue theme with the battery mod too...but what I'm looking for is the only battery icon mod...stock icon with %battery inside.
Could somebody be kind enough to provide the right modded framework ? cause at the moment I need to use a battery widget icon but I really don't like the idea to use a widget to monitor battery status cause it drains battery even if it's a minimal consumption...but why use it if you can have the same if not better integrated one that is not going to suck any juice?
thanks a lot anticipately!
I'm going to offer a beer if somebody can help me!

The kitchen supports non deodexed roms too now.at least thats what the front page says
It would be great if someone could make something like that kitchen, you know, just give it an app and it shows you a preview and you can make any change you need to, without looking for one color in lots of xmls and some other things.
nah, it works even with odexed... I've always used an odexed froyo rom with a custom framework!
Uhm...you can just use framework-res.apk from overcome firmware, he use stock jq1 for his work, yes it is deodexed but it should work, anyway a nandroid backup is worth before change it.

I don't know what style of status bar icons you are looking for, but if you'd like just the speedometer style battery mod, then I put it up HERE... you can check it out. Keep in mind that it's for a 2.3.4 ROM.
Let me know how it works out for you.

There is an apllication whichhelp to introduce percentage in a battery icon...something like in Hyperion or ShadowHawk ROMS?
don't quite understand your question, but I know that there are some battery widgets on the market that gives you the percentage of your battery.
I hope I've helped you with that.

no app, its a system mod.
you can make your own via UOT kitchen google it.
takes a while to get to grips with, but does the job
@optical99
i use Battery Indicator free version but there is a pro version with some other features!
this is is an app, and have an indicator for taskbar!
I wouldn't normally be doing it, but my phone crashed and forced me to. I wanted to move to stable UXUMA7 base, but Mohan doesn't have Embryo 6.5 out yet [edit - he does now, but it's still not this base]. So I gathered the info (not really hard, just some Google) and made the mods that made UXUMA7 usable for me. Since I did it anyway - I might as well share it.
Mods:
Ripple effect on lockscreen
4 lockscreen shortcuts
4-way reboot
23 toggles
Circle battery
Known issues:
Flashlight toggle is crashing SystemUI
Don't try MultiWindow

There shouldn't be any logging in or signing up. Free download works without it, and the file is small - no waiting times.
In any case, I'll upload to dev-host and share.
[edit] Uploaded, link is available in the OP.
Just a quick question, anyone have this without the circle battery mod included? Sifted through the zip but im not that smart..
SystemUI is the target APK for circular battery mod source, but it's also the target for toggle mods.
If you want - you can just replace the 100 images and the charging images with the standard ones (duplicating the standard images - you have only ~8 of them, you need to duplicate each of them to cover all the relevant values).
can we have just the extended power menu with recovery?
any idea how to change clock color?
i tried this tutorial but no dime:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2039214
any tricks, ideas...
thanks

Download the zip, delete all the files under /system and /preload except of android.policy.jar, and flash. You'll have extended power menu only.
If you mean putting the "recovery" option onto the main screen - I didn't see a tutorial for such option. If you find one - post the link and I'll see if it's easily doable.

Was coming here to ask just that. Not a fan of the battery myself either.
I'm running the untouched RUXUMA7 (flashed the original tar with odin).
SystemUI fcs as soon as the phone boots up and keeps fcing any time I run an app which uses it (phone etc). So I never see the notification bar and it didn't help to turn off the flashlight toggle in AdvanceS. Should I run this with deodexed instead?

This is awesome! How difficult is it to add or change the navigation bar slider shortcuts (when you swipe up to get the ring with Google now)? Could this be customized easily? Thanks for your work!

Also, bug I think: I can't swipe the status bar down from the clock anymore. I almost always swipe down from the top right corner of the screen, so that's how I noticed it .

It does when you display the text percentage. The actually icon is in increments of like 20 or 15 percent. This mod makes the battery and text 1 icon so it takes less space in the status bar.

Right on, tnx. Gr8 mod, can't wait for brightness bar removal, and carrier I'd. Not sure if that can be done in sysui or not. Also previous poster that said u cant drag the right side of notification bar is correct.... Gr8 work....
Can you tell me how you got rid of Brightness Slider? I want to be ready for it when the Sprint variant drops. Also looking to turn off volume slider.
Finally! This is what I've been wanting since I got the phone. I remember the Optimus G had a fair amount if mods and it made me not even consider flashing a ROM. I like LGs UI enough on the G2 but some stuff has gotta change. Thank you for these and I hope there are more to come!

As for suggestions :
- remove carrier in the top left of status bar. (mine says Home for straight talk, but I'd prefer it gone)
- fix swipe issue on the clock part of the bar. You can't swipe down from the clock portion with this mod.)
- hide the nfc indicator.
Working great! Thanks

Sorry to hear that dood
Suggestions:
-Remove At&t logo
-Change brightness slider to a toggle, and remove that useless volume slider and settings from NC
-Please change the at&t 4G logo to something more mature; two arrows for upload and download would do.
And then if possible, the thing everyone wants but no one has- a transparent status bar for custom wallpapers on lock screen and home screen.
Thanks for what you've done already though, its already miles better than stock.
