I've seen a fair bit of commentary about opera mini...
but what's the general opinion on what the best android browser is for x10?
Sent from my X10i using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
ive been opera mini and its rocks, ive been using it for about 3 years now on various device´s and really like it!
the stock brower is ok, better than what i expected!
I like xScope .. Has a nice one-finger-zoom! (doubletap and drag up to the right)
flash on xperia x10
there is a browser that supports Flash for x10 xperia?
skyfire browser will be flash compatible but its still in closed beta so u cant get it yet.

Flash player and pinch
Android 2.1 will have flash player? but pincy?
The new firefox browser is suppose to have flash 10 to but it's not out yet
An early build of Firefox Fennec is available but it requires 2.0 or 2.1 to run. I downloaded it anyways and it wouldn't install.
I use Dolphin on my phone. And I really like it.
It shows the pages better than Opera does imo.
Opera is loading pages quickly, but they do not look good when they are loaded...
Skyfire 2.0 (Beta) was just released on the market. Works beautifully, is fast (as it's server-based like Opera Mobile), and can natively be set as your default browser.

Awesome! I used Skyfire to watch hockey games stream in Flash! Now I can keep up with the NHL playoffs when I'm out! Thanks for the heads up!
EDIT: Got it! Can't wait to test it out!
Skyfire 2.0 all the way!!
I don't think skyfire works on android 1.6?
at least I can't find it on market with x10
You have to download the beta version to your sd card and install from there.
Theres a thread Somewhere on here with a link

Been trying xScope. Man it's fast, and the UI is pretty good as well.
Does anyone know if there's going to be Mediascape last.fm scrobbling support on 2.1 update?
Since there's no support for this on 1.6 I'm now using MixZing, does anyone know if situations any different on 2.1 Android update?
Thanks,
Adnan
Don't know but the official Winamp app really kicks the mediascapes ass

Re: [APP] TT POD the best in class music player
The best music player out there without a doubt but the only thing is that it needs a landscape view when opening and a FULL ENGLISH interface.
And a better widget too.

I was just looking around the Chinese website for some information !
A great player indeed , I'm just concerned about the battery usage but i'll have to test it some more to see.
Also why include a freaking web browser and not a video player ? : P

I am not the developer
I just help the ttpod team reporting bugs and some petty fixes
German translation will not be possible as of now as our team has recently translated it to English from Chinese you need to wait at least four months for global translations as our primary aim is to perfect the app first

Hi,
Great players, but still many issues for me :
1) I have version 3.94.1102 installed on my Nexus 7 tablet.
Today, when I launch the app, it says that I should upgrade to version 4.2.0110 and send me automatically to the google playstore page of TTPod, but the issue is that it now says that my device in incompatible so I can't upgrade anymore !!!
Please make TTpod compatible again with the Nexus 7 tablet (3.94 seems to be running without a glitch on the Nexus 7)
2) The management of music Cover is both buggy and too complex
- buggy because if you let TTPod download directly the music cover, it sometimes find covers that have nothing to do with what is being played
- buggy because TTPod does not recognize covers when they are tagged into the mp3 itself (while many other mp3 players do)
- complexe because if you want to add a cover manually you have to rename your jpeg cover picture as "album_name" (not "album_name.jpg") and then you must store this file into a special folder on the sd card: ttpod/art/album . Most other player would either recognized an album cover if it is embedded in the song's tag or if it is stored in the same album file as the mp3 files with a .jpg extension... You also have to change the tag of all song so that it includes the name of the album, otherwise the album cover file set in ttpod/art/album will not show... None of my mp3 tags include the album name... so having to retag all my song is very time consuming... All my songs are tagged with the album cover and unfortunately this is not recognized by TTPod...
3) Despite me tagging very carefully my mp3 songs, sometimes lyrics are completly wrong : they do not match at all the song that is being played (eg the latest MIKA "Origin of Love" where TT Pod must be downloading the lyrics for another song also called The origin of Love...)
4) There still too many Chinese language within the app (version 3.94.1102 as I can't upgrade to version 4.2).
This means there are still many features that many users can't use properly...
Please do at least a full English translation.
Then you should create an intl translation project...
Keep the good work, TTPod is very good and not far from being perfect
Re: [APP] TT POD the best in class music player
fan of it since the age of java and Symbian but in android it seems very annoying in lyrics or song downloading...so here I m preferring duomi...

The googlestore does show 4.2.0110.its MOSTLY in english. Have a look under advanced options - there is still chinese wording on the selection switches..This one seems laggier than 3.0 english which i was using.
