[APP][FLIP LAUNCHER] quick app access [2.1+]

Android devices are meant for multitasking. Some devices, like the Galaxy Note 2,
are specifically designed to launch two apps, or more, at the same time.
The Google Play Store also offers a variety of multitasking apps to allow
you to multitask on your device. The FlipLauncher app is a multitasking app
that allows you to group your favorite apps or shortcuts and access them
from wherever on your device.

When you launch FlipLauncher in portrait mode, 6 colored bars (i use one) will appear
on the left side of your screen. These bars serve as your virtual drawer
containing your apps and shortcuts. Just swipe to open those bars.
You can set up to 4 apps or shortcuts on each bar, giving you a total
of 24 apps or shortcuts.

The app also allows you to personalize the bars on your device’s screen.
You can change a bar’s color, adjust its width, set its placement, and
set its opacity. You can even disable one or two bars. These virtual drawers
really look like the Multi Window feature of the Galaxy Note 2 but arranged horizontally.
The app also has a different layout when you hold your device in landscape mode.
In this screen orientation, 4 colored bars (again i only use one) will appear on the left
side of the screen. Each bar allows you to place 6 apps or shortcuts, giving you still a
total of 24 apps.Just like the previous orientation, you can still change a bar’s color,
transfer the bar to the opposite side, adjust its width, and set its opacity. You can also
remove some bars according to your liking.

[App]Dockat -- a dock support gesture

To access Google Now, just swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
So can this gesture do something special instead of Google Now?
Somthing like a Dock?
Yes! This is the DOCKAT!
Dockat is the most convenient and intuitive way to switch between applications and adjust system settings for Android 4.1 and up.
Whether you're in the browser, at a home screen, or anywhere else, you'll always be able to call up Dockat by swiping up from the bottom edge of the screen, which is exactly the same as launching Google Now.
You can make your own Dockat by adding the most frequently used and favourite apps just like Dock.app in OS X.

Just got the Android L preview and thought I'd share some screenshots

I got the image on an emulator as i don't have a Nexus, shouldn't make a difference though
Ok so the boot animation is the same..this might be because it's a preview because i was expecting the new Android logo
Home screen icons are still the same, probably for the same reason

I have no notifications though...

Yes it's awesome. I'm using it to type this. The animations are great and system is running extremely smooth on my Nexus 5.

Edge Launcher allows you to access more than a dozen quick settings and toggles, switch between recent apps very fast and open your favorite apps. All of this is done with one single touch, without lifting your finger from the screen (there is also an option to open it with a quick swipe from the edge of the screen).
This is a major update from the previous version, with card UI and nice animations, as well as material design for the app settings. I'm also working to add more functionality such as adding contacts, shortcuts and theming support!

maybe animations and addons like ram bar and more detailed music controls(bigger and with cover art) and widget support to place them in an empty space

Issues with weather widget

Hi Guys,
I am using Weather and clock widget on the home screen of my S7. It was working fine till the Nougat update came. After the Nougat update I wasn't able to update the weather by clicking the refresh button (forgot to take a screenshot, posting a reference photo)-

The same was updating without enabling GPS or any other setting. It works the same way in my SIII. After the update nothing happened when I clicked on the refresh button. I had to click on the weather photo and scroll down the screen to update it. I was tired of the same so I cleared data and cache of weather and weather forecast from the app manager. Now when I am trying to add my city I am getting this network unavailable error even though the phone is connected via wifi-
If I open weather forecast and click on more settings and then select use current location, it turns on gps, I am able to add my city and the weather details are refreshed but only when I click on the weather photo and scroll down the screen to update it.
I don't want to format my phone What should I do?

try switching on 'use current location' option.

I know this is almost a year later but I had the same issue. Turns out It happens when power saving mode is enabled. I see in your screenshot it was enabled. As soon as I disabled that mode the widget updates.

I think this will fix it:
Settings>battery >battery usage> optimize battery usage > change the drop down menu to "all apps"
Scroll to find "weather" and "weather forecast" .
Toggle the switch off.
Also, I'm not sure if this is needed or not, using the "all apps" menu find each of these apps and turn off data saver.
