[beta] Explore your files by size - Android Apps and Games

I know it's not the first time something like this is attempted but I hope you guys like it.
Anyway, as usual, I make the app available early on so that you can help steer its development.
It's a very simple visual interface that allows you to drill down and find which files are real space hogs (note: this has nothing to do with NotEnoughSpace!)

Not implemented yet:
- Deleting files/directories
- Supporting more than just SD Card
- Landscape mode (tablets will be a first-class client)
- A better-looking UI
- Back button does not cancel crawling
- ...
May break:
- The app may run out of memory while crawling your SD Card; please report!
- ?
Please verify:
- That I am correct in believing that the app does not require any root access
A succinct user manual:
- Tap a segment to reveal file information
- Slide inward to see directory content
- Slide outward to go back up a level
- White circles indicate that a directory has children

Cool, will test and report on it.
didn't work
Hello,
It looks very nice and I download the file.
Was careful with the installation procedure (read the read me file).
But the device :
- froze immediatly
or
- froze after a certain amount of time
or
- was verrrry slow
and
- consequently could not be detected by my computer by active sync.
Still the screen shot looks very promising. I have a hp so that might explain why it didn't work...
cheers

can u install move to SD ?

Click to collapse
Even if so, only the APK itself moves, the other 10M or so that's left in memory remains.. Even when using Apps2Ext. I haven't looked specifically at Google Earth, but what I've seen in the past is apps will install libraries in /data/data/com.googleearth.example/lib because it has to be on a POSIX filesystem. I did find that moving and symlinking from my ext partition works though But that's semi complicated.
will this now work on htc legend?
Is there a way to zoom-out without requiring a multi-touch gesture, yet?
wish this worked on all androids such as my hero....~Requirements:Android is so incorrect and very miss leading.....this app only really works on the latest phones and a few on the older high end ones....

[App][Beta][4.0+] DeskShot - Capture your Desktop from your phone

Hi everyone,
Have you ever seen a screenshot of a Computer, but captured with a smartphone camera? Do you hate them as much as I do? Well now I got a simple but efficient solution for this problem.
Introducing DeskShot:
DeskShot allows you to create a Screenshot of your computer with your smartphone with the press of a button. All it needs is a small java program running on your computer and thats it. At the moment you can only capture your primary screen and only the whole screen but I'm going to add a way to capture only a portion of a screen.
The App is in a beta state right now. To install it either download it from the attachments section below or join the Google+ Community (plus.google.com/communities/109206966394527976430) and register as a tester to get automatic updates.
The backend requires Java 7 or higher to run and can be downloaded from the attachments. It defaults to port 2555 but I will add configuration options soon.
I would like to hear whether the app is working for you too and I would love to hear feature requests or improvements in the UX.

[APP][2.3+] ABC Share - Simple Android file & text sharing

Hi!
I would like to have feedback on this application I published on Google Play to share files from Your Android device over the web.
Currently You can share single files, multiple files or text.
It will work if Your device is visible from other devices and/or it is in the same network.
I would be glad if You can test it, evaluate it and let me know ways to improve it.
You can share the link via QRcode or NFC or via sharing button.
No root required!
Get it here on Google Play Store:

[APP][4.0+] System Sampler beta

REQUIREMENTS.
Must be rooted.
Set SeLinux to Permissive.
System Sampler is a tool to allow you to sample data deep in the system. It's great for developers and Android enthusiasts who have an interest what's happening in real time.
FEATURES.
- Adjust sampling time from 1-10 seconds.
- Set file permissions if needed to read data.
- Status bar readout viewable in any screen.
HOW TO USE.
1. Enter the file path in the box located at the top of the screen.
2. Turn on the sampling button.
3. If you are unable to read the file, use the "chmod" button to set file permissions to 777 and try again.
TIPS.
It's much easier to copy and paste the file path using the "getFilePath" application. Get it here..https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.fro9.android.app.getfilepath
POSSIBLE ISSUES.
This is a beta release!
System Sampler was built on Tasker and has only been tested on my LG G3. That being said, their may be issues with different devices with screen resolutions and the status bar readout.
